I will admit mistakes were made and after looking at MANY air bnb pictures and properties things got a little mixed up. Hotel Poblado Alejandria is NOT an apartment. The Jacuzzi is NOT private. But for some reason "jacuzzi" and "Hotel room" are in the same sentence in the title. VERY confusing if you are not careful. This hotel is wedged in between ACTUAL air bnb apartments. When I asked for a refund I was completely denied while being told, "you knew exactly this", "you already knew that", "bla bla bla".... Either way... for a 10 day stay a refund was not something that is impossible or simply not plausible. Many other hotels have done this for me and friends in the past. But I guess it was easier to deny a refund since this person I was talking to didn't even work at the hotel and was never going be seen face to face. I promptly booked a REAL air bnb from this website. I got a whole 3 bedroom apartment with kitchen, PRIVATE jacuzzi, laundry room for LESS than this hotel room. Other notes: - the breakfast was pretty good and the breakfast staff was nice. - Out of the 4 of 10 days I stayed here my key card stopped working 3 times. And it happened to a few other guests there also. In response to the reply: Isn't it a little too late to get a refund now? Why wasn't this told to me but the person communicating with me through Airbnb.com? This person made it sound like he/she was the foremost authority and would never give a refund.

Luis, Peter were standouts. Really went above and beyond, especially Peter. Location was good, a bit of a walk to places. The room was spacious but nothing spectacular. Found a clump of hair on the windowsill in the shower. Outlet in bathrooms don’t work. None do I think. Jacuzzi was nice but you need to reserve it. Breakfast was good but flagging down the coffee cart guy was annoying. Just set coffee on a table. We can pour our own. Overall, would stay there again

The hotel staff was extremely friendly, especially one of the older gentleman who was always willing to call taxis for us, give directions, and overall give advice about the activities we were doing. The location of the hotel is pretty good. Restaurants are about a 15-20 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi away. The area is pretty safe according to the hotel staff and from online sources (El Poblado in general is considered safe). I have walked around in the day time, while taking my phone and camera out occasionally to take pictures, and I never had any issues. I have also walked around at night to the restaurant/night life district with my brother and friend and had no issues. The room itself is okay. The bathroom was pretty nice, but the rest of the room could use be more modernized. There's only a couple outlets, and they are not close to the bed. The TV also only had PPV content. The breakfast was dreadful unfortunately. Pastries were dry as ever. Eggs and hot food was actually cold sometimes. Coffee that was served tasted old all the time. But, they did have a really good variety of fruits and juices. Overall, the breakfast was passable and I didn't mind the quality since it's not the fanciest hotel, so I can't blame them too much.

Large rooms that are very clean. The staff are very attentive and helpful. The front desk was able to help with concierge type things, such as setting us up with a tour to El Piñón de Guatapé much more affordable than our travel agent was, for example. Breakfast is extremely generous and changes on a daily basis. Lots of fresh fruit, eggs, arepas, pastry, cheeses, and fresh squeezed juices and coffee. The setting is ideal. It's very quiet, with the exception of birdsong. It's very nice to sit in the restaurant area and relax on the covered patio.

Excellent, Hotel. All employees are friendly and hospitable. They make you feel at home. The hotel restaurant is brutal and the waiters are super friendly. A special mention to the employee who assisted us on the first day of check-in, he was super friendly and helpful. It was excellent AAA This hotel is 100% recommended

We were part of a tour group that visited multiple cities in Colombia. This hotel was chosen by our travel agency and I was happily pleased with this hotel. The rooms were clean, breakfasts were great and the front desk had multi bilingual staff. Our stay here was relaxed, conveniently situated for our tour groups itinerary, and speaks well of Colombian hospitality!

Oddly, my shorts went missing after housekeeping. I never left the property with them on and I'm sure they have footage of me wearing them in the lobby. They said they did an investigation but obviously they said nothing went wrong. Friendly front desk staff, the rooms were nice and quiet. However, my missing shorts puts a sour taste for this hotel.

Well maintained property. Service from staff is excellent. The continental breakfast was good, and the other lunch/dinner menu items were also great. Centrally located to malls and restaurants. Would recommend and would stay again

It was a good hotel. They have really good breakfast. The employees are super kinda and the rooms were very clean. Depending on the side, you will have a good view of the city! I can only recommend you to check in for the quantity of people you will need because if you bring a gest (s) they can even charge you more than the room cost it self (they said it was per policies).
