Restaurante Malevo

Restaurant Argentinian restaurant

👍👍 Small friendly restaurant to grab some steak. The steak was a bit chewy but I feel like if you go for the imported it will be much better. The chicken was perfect and the chimichurri was great. Anita was a great server and incredibly friendly! People often mention steak, service, great, good, Argentinian, restaurant, wine,

Steak that gf ate was good, my lamb was amazing. It wasn't on the menu but they made it from previous diner pics and it was soooo good. Unlike most Colombian restaurants they had 3 kinds of sauce. One of the sauces was actually spicy, I was impressed.

Took an hour to get our food(multiple people complain about the service) when we finally did ,served our salmon raw and frozen in the center then their solution was to burn it so dry was inedible, the correct move would have been to give a fresh piece of salmon and cook it right. Meat was just OK, but does just OK steaks make up for horrible service and overall dissatisfaction? I do not think so. For the money and the almost 5 star rating this place falls short. I will not be dining here again much better steak places in Medellín.

Disappointing. Sadly, this once great restaurant has cut one too many corners to be forgiven. Throughout the last year, there's been a trend to increase prices in a flow similar to inflation, but Molevo increased prices while also cheapening the quality of the steak and service. Noting the trend during these last 12 months, I frequented less but it still served a good steak so it remained on my list. Tonight, there was no redeeming qualities to support a return. A cheap, poorly cooked steak that was chewy and dry lay next to a tasteless salad and accompanied by flavorless chimichurri. To add insult to injury, the fork was disfigured, the knife was dull, and the glass they served me had a large and obvious chip on the lip. It's as if the restaurant has lost its pride. The french fries were the only positive aspect of this evening's meal. After having removed my dishes, the waiter disappeared for about 20 minutes while I tried unsuccessfully to get someone's attention to give me my bill so I could just leave for the night. All in all, It's sad to see this once outstanding restaurant fall so far.

We had a wonderful time at Malevo's. The service was perfect and the food was awesome. We had the Argentinian beef, the housemade Gnocchies and for dessert the chocolate temptation. The meat was on point and very delicious - you do not need any sauce.

Just no no. We had a dinner starters and main courses. Also ordered the most signature dishes. Everything was chewy. Even with a knife and forks we couldn’t cut the meat. Also there weren’t many selections of wine as advertised on the menu. They have only two three choices. Server lady from Argentina. She was great.

This was by far the best spot my friends and I ate in Columbia. We went there twice during our 5 day stay due to it being so good. The meat was very tender, flavorful and juicy. Prices are very reasonable compared to what you would pay in the states for the same cuts of meats. The sangria could use a little improvement but after a patcher who’s really track? Must visit if you are in the area.

Great place to chill. Tasty food. Nice service. Place to sit outsider is cozy. I loved music as well. Not too loud but adds to the vibe of the place

Well, I wanted a steak. But not just any steak I wanted a USA Ribeye Angus. I asked to see it and the very professional waitress named Romi invited me and my wife to the pass through kitchen window. There the head chef greeted is with what I had requested to see, a Columbian Ribeye and an Argentinian Ribeye. To be candid, the Argentinian cut looked the most marbled. He also said that would be his choice as well. So then we sat down and Romi opened our beautiful bottle of Argentinian Sangre vino tinto and very professionally decanted it for us. To fast forward, it has been the best meal (cooked perfectly) and the best service you could ever hope for. I recommend this restaurant and Romi without any reservation!

I ordered the ribeye, medium rare. It wasn’t as tasty as I like. I prefer Longhorns outlaw ribeye better, but the steak was still tasty.

Probably my favorite place to eat in Medellin. The food is on point. I have the tri-tip and it was cooked to perfection with a nice crust. When I was in Buenos Aires, I ate at the famous Don Julio's. While Julio's might have them beat on the atmosphere, they take the prize for taste.

We spent 5 days in Medellin. Of the high end restaurants for dinner, this was hands down the best we ate. Perfect steaks. Perfect.

The lamb empanadas are great. So was the meat. They serve fernet with coke.

If you were looking for a real Argentinian spot, don't look further, this is it! The prices can fool you but the quality is 100% there. Service was great and the meat cuts were really good! Don't hesitate, enjoy!

Honestly up there with the best steaks I’ve ever had. Cooked perfectly and incredible taste. Potatoes were also unreal and even sauce on salad was amazing. Empanada to start and choc dessert 10/10 too Go to this place 100%, staff also friendly

I had a very tasty glass of wine with dinner selected by the waitress. She understood English when my Spanish was failing me! The starter was very big. Too much for one person. Certainly sharable with 2, if not 3 people. Cevice salmon in a lime marinade with shrimp on top was sharp and clean flavored.. The accompanying main course of rib eye steak included a small salad with a tasty home made dressing and the steak had good grilled flavor. Fries were as you would expect! Good vaue at ~$25 all in, including service (tip).

Great food and outstanding service! Come here if you'd like to try an authentic Argentinian steak.

Really enjoyed the food here. Good stakes, well cooked and good portions. However I've removed a star because of the wine situation. They tried to upsell us on a 300,000 COP bottle of wine, and when we refused that, it turned out that the cheapest red wine they had was 124,000 COP. I don't mind a place selling some expensive wines, but I think there should be some affordable options too. It was a shame not to be able to have red wine with our meal, but the sangria we ordered instead was very good, and we still had an enjoyable time. I wonder if they used that 124k wine in the sangria...

Excellent overall experience and will definitely go back. Service was the best I’ve had in Medellin and the rib eye was above average.

The place is a great meet restaurant with excellent meet that relly felt like Argentina 🇦🇷, the rib steak come medium wall as I wanted it to be. The only problem was that it took a loot of time to get to me , 20-25 min for Empanda and 30 min more for the main course, but the waiting is definitely worth it for such a good meet.

Nice restaurant with both indoor seating and an outside covered area for eating. Service could be a little better, at times it was difficult to get attention from the staff. Food was well cooked and had an authentic Argentinian style and flavor.

Absolutely ridiculous service. Unprofessional to say the least. Nearly an hour to get a drink. Great steak but almost felt like walking out multiple times. They were out of half the menu it seemed. Disorganized. Staff were stuck doing busy work with a lack of customer focus. Good food but expect to spend 3 hours here with a group.

😠 We ordered a mixed ceviche and it was very acidic, you couldn't eat it, the presentation was terrible in a plastic cup. We paid 28,900 each and it was just onion, a small fish bite and 3 shrimp.

👍👍 This is a traditional Colombian restaurant. I went around 12:40 pm, it was crowded but there were available seating. I ordered bandeja paisa. Portions were large and food was delicious. I also ordered cola zero and they brought 300 ml large bottle. Unfortunately 10% tip is included. I don’t like res...
