The price to go inside this "museum" is ridiculously expensive for what it is! 25 usd to see three old cars an small airplane and a garden of a random house and histories of what we already know ! Please don't make the mistake of going inside you will be disappointed! You don't even go inside the house LMAO I'll post the pics and that's it. It's a tourist trap!

Completely overpriced (120,000cop pp) for the sales room plus a few old cars and a rushed story that leaves 1,000 gaps. On top the guide will ask for a tip. Would definitely not recommend coming here. There’s a ton more affordable and informative things to do in town!

The museum was not worth the money in my opinion. You can do so much more with 120K pesos. I would maybe okay to pay like 10k pesos for it. It was such a small venue and contain like 5 different things whose video you can find online. Will recommend to rather go to Pablo Escobar memorial. I did like the tour guide because he was funny. Save your money!

After reading the reviews and watching Narcos (I know, sorry 😊) I was keen to hear ‘the real story’, so finding myself in Medellin it was the perfect opportunity to visit the museum. We had a brilliant tour guide who was fun, funny and spoke perfect English. Fernando captured the quirky, often ludicrous things that Pablo actually did and highlighted that these were back in the day. Although I think some of the vehicles (although original) had been tarted up quite a lot, to be expected. Some of the items in the shop, although expensive were great fun. At the end of the day, if you visit, you are either there to learn or judge. A lot of Medellin’s history involves Pablo and his family, so go with an open mind and enjoy the tour!

Way overpriced for what this is. The tour guide does provide a lot of historical context, but the house and building they show you is not that great. They also asked for additional money during the tour in order to see other rooms in the house after already charging a crazy amount to tour.

Interesting place. Sadly the tour is very romanticising Pablo Escobars life … would appreciate a bit more facts without watching narcos before I would not have understood everything they were talking about

Very cool experience. Wad a little underwhelming for the price, but a must-do if you've seen the Netflix series. The guides work on a revolving cycle so you can jump-in mid tour and youll eventually come back to where you started. Takes about 1 hr.

This was a cool experience. They might have put too much emphasis on how great PE was and how much money he had as well. There was no mention of the people who died at the hands of his cartel. It felt a little anti-american at times. Overall a good experience and worth the trek up the hill.

I ignored the bad reviews and wish I didn’t. This is the most I’ve ever paid for “museum”anywhere in the world and it was such a waste. $25USD for a 20 minute walk around the house where you look at a few cars and look at poorly printed photos. I don’t recommend this at all.

Very happy with this tour. We had an English speaking guide who was very thorough and knowledgeable. The tour was a little pricey for an external tour of the property ($22 USD). I wish we got a tour of the inside of the house, but still recommend going to this museum.

The museum is worth it if you have an interest in Pablo Escobar, but it is expensive compared to other museums and tours in Colombia and an obvious tourist trap. You will get massively overcharged in the shop. We did the 2.5h tour as well which I strongly recommend you don't do. They will take you to visit a statue of Virgin Mary built by Pablo Escobar, a monument for the fallen police officers and the cemetery where he was buried. This was not worth 2h and I wish I had seen another museum during that time.

I don't think that this place should be include in the map of our city, i don't think that the foreigner would be love that exist a museum for Columbine High School massacre.

It was a unique experience with our guide EL CUBANO, who explained with luxury and details everything related to Pablo Escobar, his life of luxury, his difficult moment, with the Colombian government, and with the other enemy cartels, his family, the attack against his family, the history of the museum that was his house, the vault where he kept his money, the attack against him, how his car was left, his race car and his plane. Etc.

I loved this tour! We had Mario as our tour guide & he was amazing!! Very attentive to detail, made sure everyone got the information, & great at translating. He had English & Spanish speakers on the tour, great at making sure we all got the info. I would recommend this tour for people who want the real history from Pablo’s family. 10/10 would recommend!

Take everything with a pinch of salt. Pablo's nephew owns the place. However, he is not there, nor was he when the war happened in the 80s/90s... he was enjoying luxury in Switzerland, living off blood money. You will hear a very biased version of events, a lot of fairy tales being told from people who were not involved, and seem to be angry and very enthusiastic to demonstrate their anger. Pablo's brother Roberto has his own museum with things from the past. You are allowed to ask him questions, but he will say it is all fiction. Both are just ways to profit off Pablo's legacy. Prices are about $ 30 USD for a tour. The cessna on display is not the original one from la Hacienda Napoles. The nephew also has some bodily parts of Pablo when his body was exhumed years ago, jesus spooky stuff or what. They will also try to sell you Pablo's book, or comic, a copy of it and say it sold for over $1500 on eBay and if you buy it for $150 you will meet the nephew as if that was a bonus prize... basically profiting off a dead man 30 years on.

Super expensive and only has a few things he used. He never even slept here. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. You can find much more interesting things on the internet about his life.

Careful buying souvenirs here. Keychain are 10$ and coffee is $12 for less than a lb of coffee. On top they overcharge you if they can tell you are foreign. Was charged 76$ for these.

I made it on foot from the El Poblado area. Boy the route is steep! If you’re not used to walking on roads with inclines this might be a tough walk. The best tour starts at 1300 hours but I arrived hours early. Hope to make it soon.

This place was totally worth it!! The guide which looked just like The Man himself, was awesome dude! We also met his nephew Nicholas Escobar and was more then happy to take pictures. The Guide him self was like being with pablo during the whole tour. Highly recommend this museum when in Medellin!!

We were asked where we come from. Austria so then the price was 90k. Buenos días, we did not go in. Just for an hour. After I read the other reviews it is ain't worth it and if it is true that the approach is more like that they admire Escobar it is not worth a dime. Hopefully none of the family members is earning money with that. Maybe it is too hyped becaus of the series.

It's a good tour but very expensive (90000). Not worth the money. And in the end the guide ask for a tip. The guide was very friendly but the tour was already very expensive for also five a tip. And actually you don't enter in any house, it's just the garden with belongings and history of Pablo.

(Translated by Google) The cost of the tour seems to me to be an abuse, the entrance to the Naples estate is cheaper, which is a beautiful place than the tour that is one of Pablo's houses that contains few things about him. They would have to make it a little more accessible. Short story: If you are looking to see the actual place where Escobar lived, this is not it. Long review: This is a spin off on an actual Pablo Escobar mansion. A person at the gift shop will greet you and right away ask where you are from.. I believe that will determine the price of admission. For us it was 180000 cop per 2 people.. We saw 1 bunker, 1 car, 1 plane, 1 gazebo full of items, and the entire "museum" was about 100m in size. You'll have to sit down on a red plastic chair behind the car and listen to a guy talk for a long time about every little detail of Escobar's life in what seems to be a clear admiration for him. That will be your "tour". When I asked him about the actual mansion tour he said he didn't know anything about it... He knew everything else though, so I found that lie to be even more distasteful than the tour.

If you’re in Medellin and interested in seeing into the life of Pablo Escobar I would recommend this place. There are several objects (cars/jet ski/karaoke machine) here that were owned by Escobar. The staff gives a very detailed view into the life of Pablo and his family. However, this place is a money grab, trying to profit on the name of Escobar. It’s to be expected with museums like this so just expect that going in. If you have some extra time and are interested in the story of Pablo, I would recommend.

I was very happy with the tour. I learned a few things that I had not before such as more about the family and more details about some of the details of what Escobar did. I give credit for members of his family to be proactive in talking about Escobar. As with many historical figures, there's a division on how one views Escobar - either he's great or he was a scourge. Either way, I believe we need to embrace our history in order to learn from it.

Not really much to it. You can't go in the house, just cars and posters outside. The tour guide does a rotation where you jump in wherever he/she is at. It was very distracting with new people joining the group constantly, and then she asks where they are from and takes a photo of everyone's wristband. At one point there were like 30 people to our one guide and it was distracting and hard to hear at that point. A few interesting things but I'd save your money and just read about him.

This was the best tour I went to here, so far. Seeing and enjoying a part of the history of great Mr Pablo… Amazing. We had a lovely girl to guide us through the property, her name is Zulma, she was really great, going into details of his life and his business, and all that in English, for which we are very grateful. The tour is the one you should not miss if you are in Medellin even for a day or two. Well done for preserving a part of history, and showing it uncensored to the world! We had the best time, thank you again so much!!

However, the visit is only from the outside of the house, in the garden area and the cost is absurd, 90,000.00 COP (the Antioquia museum, with works by Botero, also in Medellín, costs 18,000.00 COP). 👍👍 When I was there at the University of Antioquia for the first time I went to this museum, I was surprised that it was so lonely, the truth is that it has very valuable anthropological, social and biological historical pieces, it is a pleasant space to which I hope to return.
