Rude. I told the lady I had already sanitized my hands and did so in front of her also. She was rude in her tone about washing hands. Had she been nicer or more professional about it, I would’ve complied without issue. I washed my hands but her attitude ruined the night. This is the young lady with a very short haircut and a tattoo on one arm. Please train her. She seemed tired and drowsy so perhaps she was having a bad day but regardless, you are in the HOSPITALITY business. Told me to pick a table nonchalantly and didn’t even offer to guide me anywhere. I should also add I saw party of seven who walked in without so much as a nod to the sink or mention of washing their hands. Clearly this is showing discrimination and favoritism. Luckily she had coworkers who were much better trained and courteous than she was. Will not be returning or bringing any of my guests here.

Incredible food and the service was superb. We went in a pretty busy day and they told us we’d have to wait around 60 minutes, but at the end it was like 20. This people are masters at what they do, I highly recommend the “Mandarina-Fresa” juice, never thought of that mix but it turned out to be amazing. The lasagna was incredible as well, you won’t really forget this flavour.

Il forno is one of the best restaurants for those who live in Medellín. I enjoyed eating here with my family, all meals were excellent and the service couldn't have been better. 😉

The only mistake a person could make is coming to Medellin and not eating here. The food was amazing and the staff was extremely kind and paid close attention to detail. I will recommend this place and return!

It is a great restaurant. I like the service and food is really scrumptious. Highly recommended!!

Service was good, food tasted ok. 2 big issues however. My food came out cold it places and hot in others. The main issue for me which I found completely farcical, was that I was told they didn’t have spaghetti when I asked for it, which is ridiculous for an Italian restaurant. This is made worse by the fact that there is a supermarket literally 30 seconds walk away downstairs!

Very nice place. The waiters were somewhat intense due to the lack of coordination between them.

Very rare i bother writing bad reviews I had a highly disappointing experience at Il Forno that left me frustrated and unsatisfied. The biggest issue was the excruciatingly slow service. It took an unacceptable amount of time for our food to arrive, with each plate coming out one at a time over the course of an hour. It was frustrating to watch my dining companions receive their dishes while I waited anxiously for mine. When they finally made my order, it arrived cold in the center, indicating a lack of attention and care in the kitchen. This was not only a major inconvenience but also a letdown considering the reputation of the restaurant. To make matters worse, the drinks we had ordered more than an hour and some change before finally arrived after another long wait. It was incredibly frustrating to see such a significant delay in getting our beverages, especially when we had placed the order well in advance. This level of service is unfortunately average for some establishments in Colombia, but I had higher expectations for a restaurant like Il Forno. Overall, the slow and inefficient service, combined with the cold and poorly prepared dish, left a sour taste in my mouth and made it difficult to enjoy the dining experience.

Very unpleasant. Reviews are evidently false. Went for diner Monday evening. The food tasted strangely unpleasant. I had a bad feeling about this. We woke up with stomach cramps and pretty much sick. On top of that the bill was outrageous for a Colombian restaurant. Even the “cocktail” situation was a joke. They couldn’t offer the "2 for 1" advertised all over the restaurant because "the bartender didn't go to work". They made us a couple of sangrias that tasted like straight up bitter wine with a few pieces of fruit. the worse restaurant i have eaten in colombia.

Save your time and money and DON’T go there … Went for dinner with my parents , we just wanted to get some good pizza and drinks. First of all , service was quite slow mind you there were only about 5 tables. We asked for some bread for the table while we waited for dinner twice and they forgot. Food came out before the drinks , the pizza was RAW .. we asked the server if they could ask the kitchen to cook it a bit longer , the pizza came out slightly warmed up and still RAW .. it was pretty disgusting .. the pizza was pretty much over cooked on the outside but still raw in the inside. The gin & tonic was watered down & the lemon inside was old and black. They also asked if he wanted “tap” or “bottled” water .. we said bottled . I didn’t finish my water and they did not let me leave with my bottle because they REUSE the bottles & refill them with “filtered” water. Over all horrible experience. Food was bad and for the price don’t bother.

😠 We ordered a mixed ceviche and it was very acidic, you couldn't eat it, the presentation was terrible in a plastic cup. We paid 28,900 each and it was just onion, a small fish bite and 3 shrimp.

👍👍 This is a traditional Colombian restaurant. I went around 12:40 pm, it was crowded but there were available seating. I ordered bandeja paisa. Portions were large and food was delicious. I also ordered cola zero and they brought 300 ml large bottle. Unfortunately 10% tip is included. I don’t like res...

👍 Very nice food and very good service. It's a good restaurant for typical and authentic food, but it's a little bit pricey and the menu is rather limited.
