A picturesque town built for tourists, this place is about a 15 minute drive from downtown. I recommend taking a taxi to the base of the hill as the surrounding neighborhood is not so nice. It takes about 15 minutes to hike to the top. There are shops and restaurants and a few nice spots where to take pictures. Plan to spend one to two hours here. Taxis available at the top.

This place is excellent and I have been here over 8 times. It is the first place I take new visitors to the city because of its easily accessible location in the middle of the city, great views, a replica of traditional Colombian architecture, food, fresh air, and some gift shops. There are slides going down one side of the hill for a quick ride down if you do t want to take a Taxi and places to BBQ or have a small get together or party along the hill which it sits upon. The slides are located on the regional airport side of the hill. Please note that it can be dangerous at night leaving the top of the hill on either side by foot. There are two roads on opposite sides leading up to it and down it. I have done this many times and have not had a problem but if you are new to Colombia then don't do it. The bottom of the regional airport side is more of an industrial area and the other side closer to unicenter mall comes out to a main road eventually but you will encounter people that might not be so good at night. Be warned. ⚠️ On top or during the day it is perfectly safe and enjoyable. Even at night it is safe as long as you leave by car if you are new to the city. There are a handful of gift shops, resturants, and a level grassy area at the top to catch the beautiful scenery of Medellin! There are public bathrooms as well which ypu need to pay to use. Not much money but expect that. It is free to visit here I might add. The roads leading up the hill have been redone in the past year and offer bicycle lanes as well as walking sidewalks but for some reason they do merge at one point so be on point to any bicycles racing downhill if you are walking. Lastly, there is a museum on top but not once in 8 years of living in Medellin have I seen it open. I don't know what is going on with it or if I just have bad luck every time I go but nevertheless it has not been open once.

Quaint little duplicate of real local towns. Walk to the wall and have an unobstructed view of Medellin. A great place to take a panorama shot of the valley.

Very beautiful and nice landscape view. Most vendors won't take cards, so if you don't have cash, you won't be able to buy pretty much anything. Public transportation is not available to the place so it's either walking or taking Uber.

We took the Metro and stopped at Industriales. Very cute little tourist spot with gift shops, food shops, a museum, and nice easy trails surrounding Publeito Paisa. Perfect place for dates, walks, or family outings.

Small scale replica of main location of Medellin. Due to the time we arrived we couldn't visit the museum on site. The view of Medellin is beautiful. Another must go

Probably the only place in Medellin to get souvenirs that actually say Medellin on them. Interesting place with an unmatched viewing area of this beautiful city. Food court with many vendors serving fresh, hot food and smoothies. Very affordable and everyone very friendly, maybe a little pushy but they are chasing the same dollar. Very good photograph museum at the top of the stairs that gives you a picture history of the city and people. Very touristy but still a must see stop on your trip to this wonderful city.

Spectacular views over Medellin. Worthwhile going! Also great is the rebuild of a traditional Paisa village with several souvenir shops, and street food options nearby. Please mit that the street from the North is currently closed due to construction work. However, you can still walk that way. If you come around sunset, you’ll be able to see Medellin in daylight as well as illuminated by all the lights at night.

Great zone for having a good time out of the city, but without the need of going too far. Pueblito and Cerro Nutibara were awesome, the only negative fact is that attractions were all closed, so basically all you cand do was enjoying the architecture, landscapes (one that's actually really cool at the top) and helping some very kind vendors around.

Very nice place to walk and have some food. Also to get a great workout if you decide to walk up there. You can be dropped at the top. I saw people being dropped at the entrance and then regretting they had to climb those stairs all the way up.

I recommend you take a tour to go here. It’s not a full day trip stop, you really only need a couple hours MAX if you decide to eat. Beautiful historic replica area with a museum and amazing views of the city.

It’s an amazing gateway to nature in heart of Medellin. The recreated old town has its own charm. The best place I loved was the city views from the top.

This is nice place to visit if you want to look at the entire city I’m Meddlin Colombia, you can see the entire city 360 view. There is not much to do here but if you are a nature lover it is a must see place. There are two options to go up you can get dropped off at the bottom of the mountain and walk up or you can have the taxi drop you up and you can walk around. There is a museum here that you can visit and lots of small stores where you can buy novelty items there are few restaurants where you can dine as well. On the way back you can walk down the man made stairs if you are hiker, you will really enjoy it, if not you can go by taxi. I personally climbed up and climbed back down, I enjoyed my time here on the mountain I would recommend it. ( please check weather before you go as it is your responsibility in order to fairly judge this place) Cheers.

It is a picturesque scene of a little town. It definitely reminds me of the Disney movie Encanto. Be sure to wear something photo ready to compliment your backdrop. There is a tiny winding road that takes you up there. After you take your photos of the village there is a museum, but better than that is the view on top surrounding the museum

Beautiful place to enjoy the culture of Antioquia in Colombia. This place is a recreation of a typical town of Antioquia and represents very well the values and the cultural and gastronomic aspects of the Paisas. Recommended for all tourists who are in Medellín, both local and international. In the back there are excellent views. There are many restaurants and ice cream parlors. 100% recommended. Remember to bring cash. Great place and environment.

So worth the $7 taxi ride. If you’re looking for a scenic view of the city from a top of a hill, and the best souvenirs I could find for the best price, and are looking for 2 hours to burn - go here. You can also bike there if you prefer.

Recomendado.

(Translated by Google) What I recommend the most of the Pueblito Paisa is the food, the GREAT viewpoint it has, the design, that is, the houses with their colors and their distinctive "paisas". It is worth spending an afternoon with your partner, friends, family and observing what Medellín was like before and how Antioqueña's infrastructure is still! (Original) Lo que más recomiendo del Pueblito Paisa es la comida, el GRAN mirador que tiene, el diseño, es decir las casas con sus colores y sus distintivos "paisas". I live currently in Bogota and am very pleasantly surprised every time I visit Medellin. Friendly vibes, better options for tourists and just a vivacious, bustling city. this place is actually nothing special, but it is on top of a mountain and has an amazing view. Pueblito Paisa is a nice place and the walk down to town is well worth it.

I love Medellin so I love going up to this hill to see the city. Be aware you cannot drive up there.. you have to park near by the entrance on the foothill and then take a taxi to bring you up there like $6,000 and then another taxi to go down.... crazy.. but that is the way it is.

When I went I was raining but it looks like nice place to spend one afternoon. The views of the city are amazing and there are lots of cafes and restaurants. There is also the city museum if you want to learn something new about Medellin. We climbed the hill on a bike ( you can rent electrical ones at the bottom or just walk). If you go by car take into account that it gets very busy with traffic.

  • 5/5 Andres G. 2 years ago on Google
Excellent place to visit and have a 360 degree view over the city. You can walk around the hill in different types of paths or you can bring your road or mountain bike and have a go to the trails it has. You can also have lunch or dinner in the restaurants at the top or have a nice natural juice at the little plaza. You can get different types of Colombian souvenirs at the shops located at the top of the hill.

Go during the week, less crowdy! Pueblito Paisa is worth a looksy but the park is a gem here. Another great example of Medellín's commitment to green public spaces. Wonderful!

Quaint little place showing how little towns in the country. Surrounding the small exhibit are small trails with art from local and international artists. Don't miss these hidden little gems!

Amazing place! Beautiful view from every angle. Recommend paying for tour phones, available in both spanish and english. The museum entrance was very cheap, so visit that too. Nice little old town replica, with small shops selling souvenirs. There are also restaurants and kiosks. The area is gated, and it's possible to walk up the hill. Either by stairs through the nature or on the sidewalk along the road up to the top. The area felt very safe, but I would not recommend walking to Pueblito Paisa through the sketchy industrial area.

  • 4/5 Josh H. 1 year ago on Google
It was a neat little place, not much in the way of any historical signs, mostly just cool looking buildings in a little town. Quite a bit of an uphill trek no matter which path you take, some are less steep than others but make sure you bring plenty of water. When you reach the top there’s a variety of places to eat, each one more different than the next! I highly recommend getting an oblea con queso and a café vasa, very delicious.

Very cute, clean, and safe. If you have not been to a small Colombian town, it's with the visit. But if you've been to one, or the walled city in Cartagena, it's not a must see. There's a very interesting photo museum the as well. It was very cool to see the history of Medellin in photo. Overall, you probably only need 2 hours here. But go early, it gets very busy!

  • 5/5 Elapsing P. 1 year ago on Google
It's a huge hill that u can either get driven up or walk up maybe 200 or so stairs. The stairs seemed to be a really good exercise and was a nice feat to accomplish. To be honest i had no clue there was a replica village at the top so that was surprising. They had a church and some sculptures as well as food all on the north side of the mountain and stores more towards the south. The food is very pricey though so i wouldn't buy into it. But the replica is very cool and the top is also a good view of the sunset.

Biggest tourist scam ever. Horrible food. Useless info stand. A few random houses selling plastic gadgets from China. The only good things are the surrounding nature paths, the views and - if u have kids - the big slides on the other side of the hill.

Good place to go with your whole family. There isn't a free to enter. The town is one of the most visited places in Medellín, combine diferente gastronomy, architecture and different kind of handcraft things as well as an spectacular view of the city. Recommendation: 1- Bring Cash. 2- US dollars are accepted. 2- the place is hot so be prepared with water and a hat. Enjoy!!

Absolutely worth visiting at least once while visiting Medellín, to get an idea of how it was back in the mid 1800's and early 1900's. Many restaurants, cafés and souvenir shops with good inexpensive prices. There is a small Museum (small fee entrance) and a Park with trails. Taxi's will take you all the way to the top entrance. Dog's are permitted in the grounds and park. One thing I didn't like was Restrooms charge a fee to use. The best time to go is during the week and early in the morning to avoid the crowds.

Nice place, with authentic Colombian cottage. The viewpoint is really the highlight with great views over Bogotá. The Colombian houses are colourful, making for lively photos. There are restaurants, cafes. Also important there are toilet facilities, WiFi. It is a tourist location, so it can be crowded.

  • 1/5 Mae A. 9 months ago on Google
Overrated tourist trap. It's just a tiny replica of a village where each representation of a house is either a souvenir shop or a restaurant with overpriced food. They even charge you to get in the bathroom and the souvenirs are not even authentic crafts, they are those things made in China that are unfortunately being sold at every tourist stop these days. There were too many people, making it difficult for you to even take a picture. There was supposed to be a great view of the city but the view is covered by trees (I am glad that they haven't cut them down but but wanted to mention that there is no view as they claim). We didn't spend more than 20 minutes here for these reasons. We made it back through one of the art trails which was very underwhelming. Nah, don't go there.

  • 3/5 Minh H. 7 months ago on Google
This is basically a tourist stop with restaurants and shops. The architecture beckons to the colonial days but it's not that old or authentic. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but if you've got time and you're on the tour like me, why not.

  • 4/5 Ben R. 7 months ago on Google
Incredible views of Medellin, other than that it resembles some of the small colonial towns we had visited. It was very busy so definitely go early if you can.

  • 5/5 Mariel N. 7 months ago on Google
I enjoyed the trip to Pueblito Paisa very much. The people who works here is very nice, they have shops with beautiful souvenirs and great prices, nice places to take pictures and the view of the city from the top (mirador) its amazing. If you want to taste great coffee ( they will give you a little cup to taste it) I recommend you visit "Encantos del Cerro" shop. Their coffee and other candy and stuff are amazing. Also, they have a Coca drink from the plant "Coca" which is great for energy, etc...There are restrooms, just be ready to pay $1,000 Col pesos, which is like .30 us cents to be able to use it.

Cool replica of a traditional Paisa town. I love the place, especially after dark. Good views of Medellín!

Beautiful place. A lot of souvenirs, check in different locals the prices, vary a lot. Don't have much variety of food but was good. Friendly atmosphere. If you go back walking you'll enjoy the Nutibara. The museum is 5,000COP very accessible and informative.

A beautiful place that show how are the typical antioquian town. Full of colorful houses and lots of small shops selling food, snacks and handcrafts. There is the city’s museum too. The views are amazing from the viewpoints. You can see the city all around. The area is very safe, lots of police from the start of the hill and all along the way up. We felt very safe. Very recommended place.

Beautiful place during the evenings. I went there after a night bike ride and enjoyed the view from the top a lot!!! There are several shops but only a few of them were open in the evening. The place is very organised and clean. I would like to visit again during the day.

This Pueblito is just so darn cute. Picturesque, lively, colorful, and so emerged into the surrounding nature that it seems like it has been there all along. Just a quaint little place to make a pit stop, grab a bite, or just a refreshing juicy somethingto quench your thirst while enjoying the afternoon. There are tons of places in this very small space to take beautiful quality post-perfect-pictures!

Pueblo Paisa is such a beautiful place in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city, A feel of historical Antioquia, such beautiful structures and colors, they have several small shops for souvenirs, a few restaurants where the food is so delicious, traditional Paisa meal, there is also a museum . it’s a 10 Uber from El probado and entrance is free, a must do for about 2 or 3 hrs of your day.
