Cool local place to hangout for a beer with local people. Now is a bit more safer as there is police station there. A Lot of young people.

Love love. Great place to hang out at night. So many good places to eat and drink. There was live music and vendors. The people were a bit aggressive trying to get you in their clubs but other than that it was safe to walk through.

This is a very small park but it's more like an area to meet up with someone or sit. It is near a very busy intersection so it is quite noisy and busy. It is across the street from a church and there are some food stands around. Small police booth in the park that is manned during the day. Easy place to locate to meet up with friends. Most locals know the location of this park.

This is a very nice, small park, about the size of a city block with lots of trees. Great spot to sit for a while when taking a long walk through town. I love this little park right in the middle of busy intersection. There were street vendors there most days, and nice green space to sit in, in the middle! Surrounded by lots of different bars and patios and restaurant and close to many hotels and things!

Great little park in middle of busy city streets. This place is a meeting spot for Multiple tour operators for tours departing in the morning. There are street vendors, food spots around. There's also a taxi stand by the park. If you're a light sleeper, do not book a hotel in this area.

An interesting park you can relax in. Don't be shocked if you smell the sweet odor of cannabis. I would consider this park generally safe. There are several bars around the park were you can buy an affordable beer.

I'm always passing this park when I take the train to other parts of Medellin Colombia. I made several friends here at the park and bought a few souvenirs

Love, love, love, I'm in love! The most beautiful and unique jewelry and crafts made by the indigenous people. You can watch them work and even request a custom piece. The place is do lively and friendly. No one was annoyed with me communicating with my translator app lol.

It is a local main square with vendors under tents as well as restaurants and shopping in the area. Lots of buses, taxi's and Ubers available.

Small open area with trees, an interesting statue, and a few benches. More a city landmark, and also I'm told is where to go for day tours. Instead of a park, it more of a spot to sit, eat lunch, or meet a friend. I went in the late morning - daytime, Policia and work crew about. Nothing spectacular.

Open park with shops and amenities nearby. Be vary if the many vendors at this park, they will try to haggle you if you seem like a tourist. No complaints however.

Read a lot about it, but I honestly found it a bit disappointing. Maybe it's because I was there during the day on Sunday and it was raining. To me, it also felt a bit touristy and American. I prefer more local neighbourhoods in medellin. But apart from that: - this neighbourhood has many restaurants - a few streets away many cosy restaurants with nice architecture - lots of graffiti - street entertainment To write a better review, I will have to come back again in the evening. Check out the photos and judge and experience it for yourself!

I could try to describe it... But you would have to go yourself to believe it. Vibrant area. Plenty of bar, club and dining options. The music is everything and the atmosphere draws you in. Fellas, Colombian women are gorgeous. They are all over the joint. However, don't allow your Johnsons to get you into trouble. Don't trust a pretty face and nice body. There has been some issues with women hooking up with tourists, drugging, robbing, setting them up to get kidnapped and even killed. Have fun, but use common sense!!!

Nice park especially in the evenings to sit and maybe have a beer. It’s clean with some small shops outdoors selling jewelry and has some surrounding restaurants.

A great little park in the middle of El Pablado that is also a gathering spot for local vendors during the day and evening. If your doing any tours this is a usual spot for pick up for many.

Beautiful plants, we did the short walk. A very quiet place. A bit hard to come by car.

This area is loaded with restaurants. Bring your appetite. You definitely want to walk around this area to see street shows by street performers. Some can be annoying lol. The night lige is even better. Stay at a hotel in this area if you like a great night atmosphere.

Little market during the day worth a look but not much otherwise.

A nice relaxing park with kiosk that sell touristy items. Several of the Chiva-rumbera buses leave for tours of the city from this plaza.

Beautiful park but it has a lot of uneven steps.

  • 3/5 Jim M. 2 years ago on Google
Not sure why this is such a big tourist attraction. There isn’t really anything to see or take photos of.

It's a beautiful neighborhood in Medien, a mecca for tourists, lots of restaurants and bars.

Like any other public park, has benches so people can sit and relax there. In the evening the small shops open.

Beautiful park. The December Holiday celebration was going on while I was there. Great food everywhere. And a fun carnival environment!

Nice place with a good nightlife to enjoy with friends

Great little town square with stands selling handmade goods. If you're looking to purchase some trinkets then I recommend walking just a block down where you'll see lots of sidewalk sellers that will charge you significantly less. For example, the price of a beaded bracelet is $40k COP at the square, but I was able to purchase the same one for $10k COP with a sidewalk seller.

Beautiful park on the side of a hill. Medellin has some great green spaces and this is one of them

  • 3/5 Jens Peter O. 2 years ago on Google
A nice little square and a popular meeting point. I love the little kiosk there and the small street behind has some nice restaurants - it is a little more relaxed in this area compared to further up on 10.

Friendly and safe. There is a CAI - (police station) in the para which keeps law and order.

  • 4/5 Susana R. 1 year ago on Google
The ambience is good, the people is cool. It's a great place to chill and just talk. It could be a bit more clean, but overall it's a nice place to sit for a while. Plus, there are lots of establishments around so you can buy everything from candy to liquor if you want to.

Parque Poblado is surrounded by plenty of bars and restaurants. Good place to come to spend an evening or night out with friends. There are some artisanal shops selling jewellery, handicrafts and souvenirs surrounding the park.

  • 3/5 Laurent B. 1 year ago on Google
Not much to do here. Quite small and noisy close to the street. If you need a quiet place try the parque de La Bailarina nearby at walking distance.

  • 4/5 Michael A. 1 year ago on Google

When travelling around Medellin, park de Poblado is one of the places you wanna visit if you like to have a picnic, some walks and if you like to hear the sound of birds. You can also buy there something to eat and drink. If you are nearby, this place is worth to visit.

  • 4/5 Ric A. 1 year ago on Google
I found people reviewing this place a little bit harsh . Ok it is not a park , more a square . It is not the cleanest, ok, buy it’s alright actually . We are in Colombia not in the US or Germany. The vibe at night is a little bit wild . Like almost in all the “alive “ suburbs of Medellin . Not sure after midnight, anyway , you have to be careful as in 3/4 of South American cities . The “park” is actually small

This is a great city park/plaza. It is also a meeting area for many on the city tours.

  • 2/5 Mariangely C. 1 year ago on Google
Good meet up place for tours. Many places of convenience (pharmacy, snacks, fast food and souvenirs). Not too safe, its a meet and go place. Do not recommend hanging around for too long.

The police robbed me. I was with my girlfriend who is clearly American. I was doing something that's legal in Colombia and they came up to me and told us we had to pay a large fine OR we could pay them up front. They made us fake signing a document so the other police and park goers thought we were signing off on a ticket. They had us slide them the equivalent of $100 on top of my phone so no one saw. This park used to make me feel safe, now I'm hesitant to ever come back.
