Best place to feel the city. Between thousands of street shops and a hundreds of working girls. When the rain comes, all gone in 2 minutes.

Update: The church is just inside the new police cordon set up in the city center, so the chaos level has dropped a notch. Nice for a quick visit, but I wouldn't linger too much. The church is beautiful with a little fountain out front in a plaza outlined by weathered grey columns. However, you cannot enjoy that because the street is a madhouse of vendors, beggars, guys hawking restaurants, and all the working girls. If you can make it past that gauntlet, you'll be rewarded with a quaint little colonial church (an island of calm in a very crazy part of town). Perhaps it would be better in the morning?

I visited this area everyday. There is a very cheap coffee shop in the area and lots merchant's selling cheap items

There is call girls in front of the church and not a very safe place to hang about

It's nice but the zone is unsafe and you feel fear to walk around there.

A small beautiful church near a busy commercial area. Nice place to pray. Could get a bit noisy due to the busy road one side. Worth stopping by when going to Museo de Antioquia and Plaza Botero. Has a nice plazuela infront. Within a contained and guarded tourist center of Medellin where the police are stationed at the entrances and exits.
