Definitely one of the best hotels I've stayed at. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Medellín 🥇 The staff really does a great job making you feel at home. Great location. Rooms are large and quiet. It felt like I was the only one on my floor. They also have great views.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! It’s in a great location and walking distance to a 24 hr supermarket and malls. The breakfast (included) was great! Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Beautiful view from the 15th floor lounge. Amazing customer service as well!

Great Hotel, has included breakfast which is very good has a large variety of food. The rooms are nice and clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Only the rooms could have better noise isolation because in the middle of the night we kept hearing neighbors slamming the doors of the rooms every time. The hotel is very safe with 24/7 security. Also has a gym on the top floor but could have more equipment in it. Very close to 2 large malls in Poblado, Medellin. Oviedo and Santa Fe. Both are reachable by walking distance!

I asked a small female cook to make an omelet for me at the restaurant but she turned down my order right away and said that there was plenty of scrambled eggs here. I feel sorry but I have to say that unfortunately, the staff working at the hot food area weren't that nice. And besides, I don't want to think that they are trying to spare some money by putting glass shields in front of the food and getting a staff to distribute a small amount of food to the guests. Marriott hotels in Cali, Bogotá & Sheraton hotel in Bogotá, Cali, Medellín & Seacolors hotel in San Andrés & Ermits Cartagena a Trubute Portfolio Hotel didn't put any glass shields or get a staff to distribute their food. But it still operates perfectly in a healthy way too. JW Marriott hotel in Bogotá has no glass shields either and they put lots of tongs next to plates so that their guests can use at the buffet restaurant which is a very proper & clever way to do for their guests.

They will harass female friends you bring here even if she was already registered . Very poor English communication skills in the front desk

Great experience here for the past four nights. Very inexpensive, friendly & attentive staff, large suites with ammenities, & delicious breakfast. Great views as well! Only thing lacking is a better gym and upgraded rooftop. Other than that - amazing value!

Centrally located, ideal location in El Poblado. Suites are well furnished and have all the amenities. Comfortable bed with Smart TV and Netflix available. Amazing breakfast, wide spread of options available. Great customer service as well. Would like to highlight the great customer service provided by Marcela Gonzalez to resolve our payment issue.

This is an exceptional place to stay, the staff is amazing and so helpful! I want to give a shout-out to Juan Diego, he was extremely helpful he went above his responsibilities in helping me to retrieve items I left and he offered to help! If his manager gets to read this please give him a bonus for his outstanding customer service! And to all the staff there thank you for always being helpful. I will return , bringing more friends to experience this wonderful hotel!

This was a perfect selection to stay on my 5 nights visit to Medellin. The room very clean, comfortable bed, have safe-box, good A.C, great view and hotel has wonderful location. In addition, the staff is superb, front desk, the waitress and cooks at the restaurant. The Top floor terrace where you can have a simple meal and drinks is a "Plus" to relax. I wouldn't have to "think twice" to come back to this hotel on my next visit to Medellin. Highly recommended. Thank You!!

Stayed here for 17 days no issues at all. The A/C went down on the second day in the room, they fixed it right away. I will definitely return, it is walking distance to two shopping malls, Oviedo and Santa Fe. Thanks for the great experience.

This is a great hotel! Rooms are very clean, modern, good and up to date bathroom and shower, very friendly personnel. My suitcase didn't arrive at the airport and one of the guys at the desk took all the time to help me phone the helpdesk. Don't remember his name but he gave outstanding service. Good shopping malls at close walking distance, great breakfast. Beautiful view from the 15st floor bar and gym. Absolutely recommended.

I think this hotel was good. They are renovating the rooms but the old rooms still good. I had an issue with the AC and they were very accommodating and assigned me to a renovated room which was very nice. Service was phenomenal and location is also very good. Once all rooms get renovated it will be very nice. The greeter downstairs, mid-age man with glasses was amazing. Very attentive and very respectful. The only thing that they need to work is staff during breakfast. There’s only one person doing omelets or at the hot station and that can make wait time very long. They also need to perform regular maintenance on the ACs so they work without issues.

When I go back to Medellin that is where I'm going to stay again, next to the hotel is a Shopping mall that has everything you need

This Hotel currently has some construction in the Lobby only. The best thing about this Hotel is the location, the Showet, and the Staff. Juan Diego at the front desk speaks good English and helped me with everything!! Juan Diego is so friendly and professional. Thank you Juan!!!! The bed was really uncomfortable the first night but they put a mattress topper and then it was great. Breakfast features an omelette station. I will be staying at a Suite next week and will write another review. Overall a good hotel in a great location in Poblado.

Everything is great about this hotel, location, staff are great, food is good, rooms are clean, BUT, & it's a BIG BUT, the windows are so thin that it sounds like there's No Windows! A main road outside, busy early in the morning, trucks reversing at 4:30am, cars racing around at 2:30am in the week, don't even consider staying here if you're a light sleeper! YOU WILL NOT GET MUCH SLEEP!!! :(

I like everything here in this hotel. Especially the staff all are so polite and friendly treated me like friend even family. I booked my hotel in Santa Marta the wrong date and could not cancel or change online. The hotel there did not have anyone speaking English. I went to front desk and the ladies helped me to make calls and solved this very smoothly. Also the room (I booked a suite,just several dollars more than standard room) is BIG. Nice and elegant with kitchenette and the bathroom is spacious which I liked a lot. The TV has many Chanel’s some English. There are shopping centers cross the street. Many banks and money exchanges with good rate. I would definitely come back if I travel to Medellín in the future. Highly recommended.

The Novelty Hotel was a great Hotel to stay at. I was born in Medellin and came to the USA as a small child. I have rarely traveled back to my native Colombia so I was concerned about comfort. This Hotel has a spectacular staff, the buffet breakfast was fantastic. The location was ideal in proximity to the Oviedo Mall and the nearby Santa Fe Mall. The Hotel is not far from public transportation. Even though I have family in Colombia who welcomed my stay, I am accustomed to being on my own and don't like to impose on others. I can honestly say that my stay at the Novelty was extremely pleasant and comfortable and in turn I was able to thoroughly enjoy my trip to Medellin, Colombia. I expect to go back very soon and will stay once again at the Novelty Hotel without any hesitation.
