The shower doesn't produce hot water but only lukewarm water that is not hot enough to relex my body and my morning shower didn't make me feel refreshed.

The attention at the reception is bad some of the guys in the lobby think that the hotel owners when their salary is paid by the guests, they are rude and do not have a designated place to receive your deliveries they receive the package when the new shift arrives Nobody knows where your packages are, they only say I do not received anything! they do not offer you any help at all. If someone wants to visit you they cannot go up to your room even if I authorize, I do not understand that policy, they should be trained better to work with people since many of us are foreigners and we expect better treatment. The truth is that the price of the hotel is a bit high for what they offer, it is not the best either, they made us have a very bad time, I do not recommend it.

Nice clean and comfortable hotel in a quiet part of a very upscale area. Service was outstanding and there is a nice pool and bar on the 16th floor. The only drawback is the room was a little on the small side but it had everything I needed for a great visit. Bed and pillows were outstanding.

Not the best hotel in town, but for sure a decent option. Service can improve substantially.

👌👍Very cool rooftop pool. Room service is pretty good. very close to the Santa Fe shopping center with lots of food, entertainment, options. next to Jumbo with is a large grocery/walmart-like store. the hotel is on a hill.Nice clean and comfortable hotel in a quiet part of a very upscale area. Most beaurocratic hotel I have visited in my life. Once at the front desk, took 2 hours to check me in. Was surreal! The made a booking error and took 2 months of assured refund for the error only to eventually deny the credit.

Wow. Absolutely wonderful. Excellent location, excellent service. I have stayed in Don Carlton previously and this hotel is way better and 3 times cheaper. Great breakfast options. They can cook for you what you want at no extra charge. Just be prepared to use google translate or show a YouTube video of what you mean by “oatmeal” :)

Overall great hotel, and great service. The folks here are professional. You are a bit far from the lively spots but it is a taxi/uber away; it didn't bother me much. I walked everywhere and I enjoyed it. The rooms are spacious, bed is great, bathrooms are clean. I'd stay here again and again.

The hotel was good. The beds comfortable and the sound isolation was alright so you don't notice too much of the busy avenue outside. Employees were friendly and helpful. The pool is ok although on the roof it can be a bit windy.

Beware. This hotel is not what you would expect for the price and location. I have had good stays with Estelar in Yopal and Paipa so I was looking forward to Medellin. They were accommodating of our early arrival, although our first room was occupied even though they gave us keys and I probably scared the poor lady who was sleeping there half to death. But when we went to dine at the Sky Bar, and when we left we were given the option to charge to our room, which we did. The bartender called down to verify the room. Fast forward to a half hour or so later. The phone rings and the bartender tells me the charges are not approved and we need to go up and pay directly. This is strange since I gave my card at check in. So we go down to reception where I learn the stunning fact (apparently unknown to the bartender) that this purported four star hotel doesn’t allow guests to charge dinners or bar tabs to their rooms, but they must be paid directly. I’ve visited hostels that offer this basic convenience, but it apparently it is beyond the ability of this location. The Estelar chain should really check into how this place is run because at their purported level in the market, policies more reminiscent of small town motels do not serve them well.

Convenient location next to Santa Fe mall. Imcredible roof top pool and bar. Service could be better.

We loved the hotel. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff highly attentive to customers needs. Rooms comfortable. The view from the 16th floor is phenomenal. Very convenient to santa fe shopping mall which has many restaurant options. We will return to the hotel on our next visit to medellin

This hotel is definitely a top recommendation. It is unpretentious clean and has great internet (60 Mbps upload!!!) . It has very comfortable mattresses / beds. Everything was very well maintained and the swimming pool upstairs is cool too. Breakfast wasn't too great, but what do you expect at this TOP price?

The restaurant in the hotel is terrible. I ordered Gnocchi and got fried potato pieces that tasted like gum. When I asked to return it, the waiter said I can return it but I will need to pay for it anyways because the chef of the cuisine doesn‘t see an issue here. Does the chef of the cuisine need to eat his own terrible food? I assume not. My friend ordered pasta with lime sauce that tasted like straight out of the can. The pool is nice but full with people and they play very loud music like in a trashy discotheque. Only good thing was the view of the room. Don‘t go there!

I had stayed at his Hotel before with no issues. The room I was given was close to the service elevator and the noise woke me up every morning. In addition I tried to bring a guest to my room and was told I needed to pay $300,000 pesos for any guests I brought to the room! I will not be staying here any longer.

The hotel is not good for hosting travelers. I explicitly asked front desk Alejandro about laundry service, and he promised to put a note for laundry service pick up. The housekeeper never picked up laundry and just left dirty laundry in the bag on the table.
