I admit I’ve passed Bob’s broiled chicken many times and never tried it due to the name. Joke’s on me because I finally tried it and I think they have the best wings in town. Bob’s broiled chicken makes simple food but he makes it well. The wings and fries were fantastic and we will definitely be back to try the broiled chicken. However, I would recommend sticking to the simpler dishes as the chicken pot pie and Mac and cheese could be improved.

The food was good and well cooked. I had the broiled chicken with broccoli, squash, mac and cheese and seasoned carrots. Prices reasonable, though, it is always cheaper to do yourself, if you have the time. Service was good and friendly. Update: Thanksgiving 2020; No one wanted to cook so I ordered meals online a week before Thanksgiving. They were ready Thanksgiving day. Friendly service. Short wait due to Bob's running out of gravy. No one rioted. They offered coffee ☕ for those waiting. Food was good. Turkey 🦃 was moist. Gravy was a little runny. Sides we ordered were dill glazed carrots, mac and cheese 🧀, sausage stuffing and desserts were slices of🍎 apple, pumpkin and chocolate 🍫 walnut 🥧 pie. The chocolate 🍫 walnut pie had pieces of chocolate chips in it. Desserts were good. Cornbread and cranberry sauce included. Update: Saturday evening 🌆, December 2020; They accepted Entertainment coupons! I ordered a Chickpea Cheddar Burger 🍔 and a Grilled chicken 🐔 sandwich 🥪 to go. Large portion of cole slaw. Both were good! Friendly service. Update: Saturday evening 🌆, February 2021; I received an email coupon from Bob's. I ordered the Turkey Meatloaf with mac and cheese 🧀, steamed broccoli 🥦 and turkey 🦃 bacon 🥓 gravy. Enjoyable meal. Came with cornbread. Update: July, 2023; Boneless Buffalo tenders and Chicken Pot pie with mac & cheese as a side. Corn bread included. Good food!

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this beautiful establishment yet after all these years of me visiting. There's nowhere around like this restaurant. You can tell just how fresh everything is, from scratch and "home cooked". Bobs stuffing would be on my death row meal. Top notch service anytime you visit and a very good meal and perfect portion sizes. I survived during the pandemic by eating the soup he sells. Sooooooo good. Try one of everything

Great home cooked food and an excellent wait staff. I strongly recommend this to anyone looking for an honest to God home cooked meal with a calm and welcoming atmosphere. One of the best restaurants I've been to in a long long time.

I had the Rotisserie chicken with cornbread, butternut, squash, and slaw. All were delicious! The side of gravy for chicken was also excellent. It all tasted scratch made and reminded me of childhood dinner time. I had blueberry and raspberry pie with ice cream for dessert, which was also good.

Bob's has the greatest chicken in town! All of their plates have a homecooked feel - the cornbread is to die for and I loved their chicken tenders. Very cozy atmosphere inside as well!

The nostalgia this place brings is unbeatable! I felt like I was back in time sitting at my Meme’res kitchen table sipping on her “Junk Soup” as she called it as I sat and waited for my takeout on their Homemade Chicken Vegetable Soup (no noodles) and a Local Squamscot Old Fashioned Grape Soda. The soup was full of a fresh variety of veggies and plentiful bites of chicken. I ordered a Family Meal Rotisserie Whole Chicken which comes quartered with 2 Large Sides (I chose Homemade Real Mashed Potatoes with Gravy and Mac & Cheese which is my youngest son’s Favorite!) I can’t Wait to get home to share this meal with my Family. We will Definitely be visiting Bob’s again!!

They have the most delicious buffalo chicken tenders and they make their own Bleu cheese dressing that's equally amazing! Staff is super friendly! Highly recommended! I go here for takeout as often as I can!
