Clean and the best part I love is that the weekend sales prices are very attractive.Nice Staff really helpful 👌. The only issue I had at my time of visit was waiting in a long line to check out.

As usual, something I purchased scanned with the wrong amount. Quadruple check your purchases because you could be being ripped off due to incorrect scan coding. I brought the same incorrectly scanning sale item to their attention several times over a few weekly trips and it still wasn't fixed. Today it was a 13 pound bag of cat food. Sale price, with card, is supposed to be 6.99. It rang up as 11.09 which isn't even the regular marked sale price which is 9.99. Customer Service is very nice and helpful/ apologetic but what is going on there with price accuracy? Also check expiration dates, found a can of soup with a thick layer of dust that expired in July. Handed it to the bored associate who said nothing and walked away with it. The incorrect pricing is illegal and a violation and needs to be corrected. Basically it's stealing from customers so whoever manages Shop Rite in Selden, get your act together before you're hit with hefty fines.

The entryway to this store is disgusting. Between the cigarette smoke and the hobos loitering, it's like going into a welfare store. Please mark the entry/exit as a non-smoking area and enforce it. I'll go to Port Jeff from now on.

I went to 3 shoprites all for the bowl & basket corned beef and cabbage meal, not one could give me any info on it except Selden, Danny in food service put one aside for me! Thank you!

Ok so basically I went to go get some pop tarts and this black guy was just standing there I asked him to move and he said “no n word”.I was astonished by his foul language and told him that this is unacceptable he responded with no not really and then walked away.honestly I don’t think I can return to this store.

The manager in the store is a complete incompetent person. Every time you go in the deli's closing at different times and they have two or three different signs they put up, One says open till 11:00 The other one says open till 8:00 The other one says open till 9:00 and then they close the lottery machine whenever they feel like it. Places ran like a third wheel country grocery store

I shop here just about everyday. The deli department is the worst I have ever seen ever. Slow and ALWAYS a long line. Just beware

The total worse service ever in the deli department! One employee walks off, 5 people on line waiting half hour....totally disgusting!

Amazing service by the ShopRite of Selden, especially their knowledgeable shelf stocking staff Mr. Josher who aided in my shopping questions. 10/10 would recommend

Clean, well organized, fresh produce, wide selection, very busy with dozens of customers, almost every checkout had no lines. The people who work there really know what they are doing. It was a pleasure obtaining my items and checking out without a wait. Thank you.

Absolutely the best ShopRite I've been to. Was short 50 cents on sushi and the woman by the self checkout kiosk cut the tax for us which was the 50 cents. Would always be back for more. Sushi here is much better than stop and shop's.

Shop rite is overpriced. Oh wait, what isn't? I blame the guy we all do unless we are just happy it wasn't the one who will soon be back 🙂 it was a struggle to find things. One row of the freezer was blocked off by boxes a worker was tossing as he stocked something. Wait, did I say Blocked off? Nah, just the boxes were the way to say if u want him to move it, you gonna have to square up. A bit dramatic yes but that was dumb. Shop rite allows it though obviously. There were sliders of roast beef that were dated to expire one day after another n it was black. Yes black, roast beef is black if you SPRAY PAINT IT. 4pm on a Saturday and the sandwiches were down to 3 halves? Is that normal. It isnt Sunday. They have another 5 or 6 hours to go before closing time. Self checkout had a line that, if a plane flew over n rook picture, it would be ---/> which means there was a well intentioned line and then two branches on each side. Who would prevail on this episode of Shoppers, Shop Rite and Sushi? Doesn't matter but I do have 2 pictures to keep you busy.

First time in this store. Clean, easy to find things. All is good.

Ordered on the kiosk at 314 for deli. Came back at 345 and there was 1 person on line and kiosk wasn't ready. The 2 people that were there just kept taking new people and ignoring the Kiosk. Myself and 2 other people were waiting. They apologized about being understaffed and no one is gonna do the Kiosk. NO MANAGEMENT HERE FOR SAFETY REASONS OR REGULATIONS, let alone customer service.

I love this store have been shopping here for about 15 years. Today was first time I had to use the ladies room and I was very surprised it was not clean at all. Terrible please have them cleaned

This supermarket is clean, roomy, and has anything you need. Workers are friendly, helpful and courteous. Highly recommend

Every store visit goes about the same way, average. The store is very organized and easy to navigate, the prices are okay, but it's close and convenient and we've never had a bad experience here. Some employees come off a little over-worked and under appreciated. Those in charge of this store should take more time to motivate their staff. Just because people are replaceable in a job setting, doesn't mean they should be treated as such. In example; today we met a shopping cart pusher named James, he seemed like a great guy and even helped us with our cart, we even pulled into the parking lot to find him cleaning out the spots people return carts to, which was very messy until he took his time to clean it. I hope the supervisors are at least grateful those poor people are out there in this heat, working hard keeping the appearance up out there when it almost doesn't even seem like their job to have to do. All employees deserve a good, figurative pat on the back for the hard work they do and the forbearance they put in while doing so, between rude, lazy, sloppy customers and under appreciative/uninvolved management, it's the least supervisors/management can do is at least express their gratitude towards their hard working employees. Some employees seem so emotionally exhausted, so it was refreshing to meet young James who seemed so full of life and eager to do his best while also wearing a good attitude.

They keep their shelves stocked and with more varieties then I find at all the supermarkets. They even had chocolate mint Italian ice:-)

The store is clean, pretty well stocked and (if you have the CARD) they have some decent prices. They even brought in some new carts 🛒. If they brought back double coupons day I give them 6 star's

Went way down hill constantly coming home and having to throw out food i bought thats bad when you open it started with their meat department which is why i started going to a butcher but slowly spread to ever other one ... moldy cheese ... bad milk like their refrigerators broke and instead of throwing out the spoiled food they left it there

I purchased 6 salad dressing for an anniversary dinner on Sunday decided to return the 3 unused ones wo receipt the clerk tells me 2 were expired and one was current and refused to store all 3. I explained I just got them On Sunday now I’m out of 4.40 bc they stock their shelves with expired products. Next time I will check dates before purchasing video it and post on websites. Disgraceful in this day with food as expensive as it is any way to cheat a long standing customer.

I primarily shop at ShopRite, the store is clean the employees are friendly and the management is very accommodating. Just this morning Brian was very helpful accommodating a request around the bottle return for me. Thank you

I am visiting family and I like to buy groceries from Shop Rite. I moved a few years ago and there is no Shop Rite near me. When I see one, it's like being home. This Shop Rite fell short. I am aware there is a shortage of many items. However, the romaine lettuce was all expired by 3 weeks. The chicken thighs were on sale but there was none to be had. There was a shortage of many items and I left with far less groceries than I had planned to get.

Produce was pretty good today. Wish they didn't have so much water spraying on lettuces. Water should keep it from drying out, not saturate it.

Decent grocery store. The selection is pretty good, though they tend to be out of stock on key items I look for a lot. Generally friendly staff, but they lose one star based on one employee who kept walking into us and not giving us personal space when we were literally the only other people in the aisle. She was quite rude. Other than that, though, decent store. Update: they've been better about having stuff in stock recently
