When
my
boyfriend
and
I
walked
in,
we
weren't
acknowledged,
the
lady
behind
the
bar
looked
at
us
once
but
it
seemed
like
while
she
was
going
back
and
fourth
to
a
table,
she
was
trying
not
to
look
our
way
again.
We
waited
about
4
minutes
before
the
"hostess"
made
her
way
to
us,
without
any
sense
of
urgency,
told
us
we
could
sit
at
the
bar
with
full
service,
I
requested
that
we
sit
in
a
booth
around
the
corner,
as
it
was
quieter
than
the
rest
of
the
restaurant.
She
rolled
her
eyes,
said
"sure"
and
proceeded
to
take
her
time,
grabbing
menus
and
silverware,
then
took
us
to
the
booth.
Told
us
about
the
drinks
they
were
featuring,
mumbled
something
else,
and
said
our
waitress
would
be
with
us
shortly.
After
she
walked
away,
I
started
a
timer
on
my
watch
just
to
see
how
long
it
would
take.
3
minutes
and
48
seconds
later,
our
waitress
came
to
get
our
drink
order,
we
ordered
an
appetizer,
and
she
walked
away.
A
few
minutes
later,
she
came
back,
I
ordered
a
burger
and
salad,
and
my
boyfriend
ordered
a
crispy
chicken
sandwich
and
fries.
Our
appetizer
came
out
almost
immediately,
and
it
was
really
good.
A
few
minutes
later
we
got
our
burgers,
when
she
brought
our
refills
out
to
us
she
said
she
was
leaving
and
wondered
if
we
wanted
to
cash
out
with
her
or
transfer
us
over
to
a
different
waitress.
My
bf
gave
her
his
card
and
we
paid.
She
came
back
with
one
box,
and
I
had
asked
for
2
more,
she
went
to
grab
those
and
when
she
came
back
for
the
signed
receipt,
we
couldn't
even
get
a
few
words
in
before
she
dismissed
us
and
walked
away.
I
had
the
bourbon
mushroom
and
Swiss
burger,
and
there
was
so
much
sauce
on
it
that
I
couldn't
even
enjoy
it
or
taste
the
meat
in
it.
My
boyfriends
fries
were
definitely
not
fresh
or
hot.
I
understand
that
when
it's
time
for
your
shift
to
be
over,
you're
ready
to
go
home.
However,
I
have
been
in
customer
service
for
many
years,
and
no
matter
how
my
day
went
outside
of
work,
it
never
affected
my
job,
my
customers
were
always
my
number
one
priority,
and
if
we
were
busy
there
was
always
an
acknowledgement
of
them
being
there
and
letting
them
know
I
would
be
with
them
shortly.
However,
Applebee's
at
2pm
today
was
not
busy,
and
there
should've
been
no
reason
for
us
to
wait
as
long
as
we
did
or
be
treated
like
we
were.
Also,
after
she
"left,"
we
were
not
approached
by
another
server
to
see
how
we
were
doing
or
told
to
have
a
nice
day
ehen
we
were
leaving.
My
boyfriend
gave
her
an
8
dollar
tip,
which
honestly,
in
my
opinion,
was
entirely
too
much.
I
didn't
catch
the
hostess,
or
waitresses
name,
or
I
would've
put
them
in
here.
We
eat
here
quite
frequently,
and
never
usually
have
a
bad
experience,
but
if
I
have
an
option
for
a
different
person
to
wait
on
us
next
time,
I
will
definitely
be
asking
for
them.
