As all other Masjids this anbariya Masjid is also very beautiful. This Masjid is located near to Masjid e Nabwai in fact anyone can easily come by walk in 10 mins. This was built by Turkish. A very beautiful Turkish train station is also beside the Masjid which gives a perfect historical look of both Masjid and Station. I suggest everyone who is on holy visit to Madina must go to see n offer prayer in Anbariya Masjid and then watch the train station.

The Anbariya Masjid (مسجد العنبرية) also known as the Hamidiye Masjid, is also named after the Anbariya Gate, next to which the masjid was located. It was built by the Ottoman Turks in Medina, which is nowadays part of Saudi Arabia. The Masjid al-Anbariya was built as part of the Hejaz Railway project next to al-Muazzim Railway Station, which houses the Hejaz Railway Museum.

The Anbariya Mosque also known as the Hamidiye Mosque, is a mosque built by the Ottoman Turks in Medina, which is nowadays part of Saudi Arabia. It is named after the Anbariya Gate, next to which the mosque was located. It was built in 1908 by the Ottoman Sultan Abdülhamid II and is one of the few historic buildings which still exists in KSA. The Anbariya Mosque was built as part of the Hejaz Railway project next to al-Muazzim Railway Station, which houses the Hejaz Railway Museum.

This is quite an interesting place. It is near the location of the old railway station which I believe was joining madinah and Istanbul or somewhere else in Turkey. To my knowledge right next to it is the museum where there are a few different exhibition a year that take place. Not too far from the haram

The Bab Anbariya (باب العنبرية), originally built during the time of Sultan Mahmoud Khan II, it was later renewed during the reign of Sultan Abdul Hamid. Situated south-west of Masjid an-Nabawi, it lead directly to the neighbourhood of Wadi al-Aqiq. It was used as entrance to the city of Medina by the people arriving from the seaport of Jeddah (جدة) and Yanbu (ينبع البحر). Bab Anbariya road, with the Masjid Anbariya (twin minarets) in the background. gate was named after the al-Anbariya neighbourhood of Madinah al-Munawarah, which in turn was named after the orchard of a cheiftan in the Ottoman Empire, who donated the part of the land close to the gate for a military academy. The Anbariya Mosque (Arabic: مسجد العنبرية, romanized: Masjid al-‘Anbarīyah; Turkish: Amberiye Mescidi), also known as the Hamidiye Mosque, is a mosque built by the Ottoman Turks in Medina, which is nowadays part of Saudi Arabia. It is named after the Anbariya Gate, next to which the mosque was located. It was closed when we visited so couldn't take photos from inside. And it doesn't seem to be well taken care of!

👍 At the foot of Uhad mountain, this is one of the most resourceful public parks in Madinah. There is a big mosque in the middle. Plenty of kids playing areas, swings, and slides. It's pretty green, and the fountain in the middle makes it a perfect family place to walk and stay for a longer time. Many...
