I’ve been coming to this gym for a while now & the personal trainer has always made it super uncomfortable to be there with her bad faces. She took up all the leg machines & then argued with my friend & I because we were simply waiting to use them. Jaqueline (personal trainer) was extremely rude & unprofessional considering planet fitness’s “no judgement” policy. I had no choice but to cancel given this uncomfortable situation.

Clean gym, nice desk staff. But the gym “trainer”Jackie, is a whole different story. Signed up for a “class” but she was a no show. Ten minutes later she walks in the front door late and rude, rushing me thru the training telling me we didn’t have much time. She acted like she’s doing us all a favor by showing up to work. I got tired of her condescending attitude and quit the session early. Dear lord, where on earth did you find this trainer, PF? It is the responsibility of both the owner and manager to hire good, personable staff, but they missed the mark big time with this so called trainer.

It was my first time here. As a long time L.A. Fitness member, I couldn't help but compare. Overall, this is a cool, modern facility with an impressive layout, and front desk staff was helpful and friendly. It was a Sunday, but still found rest rooms and showers pretty dirty and unattended. Was disappointed that they didn't have soap in the showers although they were modern, and no toilet paper in one of the stalls. Could've used a little better instructions on some of the stationary bikes. Lockers were really small. Overall, seems like a good value but the membership they advertised was a Classic which limits you compared to the pricier PF Black Card.

Arrived at this venue looking for information about the hours and the price. I need to create an exercise routine, which I have lost with all this Covid situation. I was fortunate to be attended by Luis M. who gave me a tour of the gym and a comprehensive explanation of the different areas and memberships. If you have any questions or plan to start in a gym, without a doubt I recommend this location and that you go directly to see the most friendly and professional who can guide you (Luis M.)

Today Thursday February 16 /2023 I walked in this place at 8524 planet fitness twice first time I passed through the front desk and both attendants where distracted way in their cellphone screen that no one noticed my presence… First of all I’m about to be a new member at this time 9:08 am But I changed my mind I just walked out this place without being noticed Then I came Back I took a little vid. Of what’s going on right there. You just watch this clip and let me know if you find unfair this one star review. I got in shock right there. I was met with very friendly and eccentric staff which acted very professionally and were very helpful. Damian recommended me some very good alternatives for drinkable and edible protein and Jacky was amazingly helpful and friendly! I would definitely recommend PF to my friends for the wonderful ambience and sense of community!

I love this gym, always clean and neat. i love that people always put their dumbbells back where they belong and staff is super friendly and helpful, shout out to LJ ( bro in the picture ) always helping me since I started it. 💪

Great location, but usually crowded, lots of cardio equipment but Smith Machines and free weights hard to come by...they only have 3 Smith machines which are always occupied...the area for core etc...also very tight. Staff is friendly and it is very clean, for the area its always busy and if it were bigger would be awesome. parking can be challenging but the do have a staff member that helps regulate. Overall other than is size good option and affordable for that location

Fitness has always been for the longevity of life’s daily maintain. Cleaning is clearly not in this locations daily check list. For $10 you can be the judge 👨‍⚖️

I have been a member of PF for a few years now and this is my favorite one to go to. Always clean and organized! The employees treat you great and very friendly! I’ve known Rosa for about a year and she has kept that PF spotless! The bathrooms, shower, floors, sink and locker area are all super clean and organized. Everything is fully stocked and smells super clean when you walk in. Rosa always greets me when i walk into PF and after my workout. She’s the best!

Every time I go they are always very friendly and quick to answer any questions. I like the hours but I would prefer they would be open later on Saturday and Sundays.

I love this place. Great workout no one bothers you. It’s very clean- which is great especially since we’re living with Covid. Today I met the lady who I saw cleaning her name is Rosa and had to commend her on the job she was doing. I was very impressed that there are still individuals in this world who care about the work they do no matter what.

I am beyond impressed with the front desk service at Planet Fitness! Especially from Luis O, he always welcomes me and motivates my friends and I! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and valued as a member. The staff at the front desk are not only friendly, but also incredibly knowledgeable. Luis O patiently answered all my questions about memberships and equipment, making sure I had all the information I needed to make the most of my time at the gym. What truly sets this Planet Fitness apart is their commitment to creating a comfortable and inclusive environment. The front desk staff actively promote a judgment-free zone, and I can honestly say that I've felt completely at ease during my workouts. It's obvious that they prioritize making every member feel respected and supported, regardless of their fitness level.

The place is clean, and the color help make it feel welcoming. As with any low-paying job in a gym, some of the staff is welcoming and have a natural incline to customer service, while others seem to be there for a paycheck only. Overall the gym is clean, and the times I've been there it is not too crowded. The membership price is affordable, and the main reason I moved to the Black Card membership is to have access to the massage chairs, and water jet massage bed. If I didn't live so far from the gym it would keep the membership. If it had a sauna or steam room of give it 5 stars.

They were completely out of bath tissue in both stalls in the Men’s room. Apparently this is a know issues there. I wish they would find a way to try and leave an extra roll or anything in there or at the front desk; rather than having the young woman who was working their acting slightly annoyed but me politely mentioning this to her. I saw her speaking on her cellphone several times while during for a very brief visit. It’s fine if you want to go ahead and do that while on the clock (maybe it was work related somehow) but please don’t get annoyed with prospective members than. If you don’t want to be involved with such things and it bothers you that much please don’t work in such a position. At least the male attendant did show up shorty afterwards and fixed the problem. I went out of my way, with my own time to try and mention this, for other people not for myself. The club was fairly clean. However the way this young woman handle it and her general attitude was a bit off putting to be honest. She wasn’t outright nasty or rude to be fair. However she did seem a bit bothered and like she just wished she could go back to be in her own little world. Sorry but the customers really should be your priority while on the clock. My then feel like a nuisance sets a less than welcoming tone. No hard feelings. I can image that having people upset over something you can’t control my try someone’s patience. I felt I was pretty mild with my tone, given how aggravating the situation was. Anyways consider it constructive criticism. I’m still not 10O percent certain if I will be in an area that will have Planet Fitnesses close to me. I wonder if the have plans of opening any open near Key West or anywhere else south of Miami anytime soon. I would still recommend this club to people. Especially if your the type of person that isn’t phased by other people’s behavior. The other members I saw there also seemed to be respectful for the most part. So not necessarily a rough crowd thankfully.

Overall a good planet fitness experience. It's and older one so the equipment is dated but they are well maintained. Staff and people were friendly. Parking is not as open as some of the other planet fitness but not an issue if you don't get there at during the afternoon rush 5pm ish.

Sales and Management are not understand if any circumstance. Will never go there again and do not recommend.

I have being trying to connect my Apple Watch to the treadmill and other gym equipment with the Apple Watch ⌚️ logo, but it doesn’t work, that feature must be disabled or disconnected…. You should improve that or get it fixed

Great Gym and outstanding personnel. The gym is well-equipped with a wide variety of machines and has several other amenities. The personnel are all very nice, especially Adri, who is really sweet and always greets with a warm smile. Recommended.

This is my first Gym and so far it has been a great experience. I’ve been to about 3 locations so far and this one has been by far my favorite, it’s actually the only one I’ve been going to. The vibe here is great, everyone does there thing and doesn’t try and show off. The gym itself is organized and super clean. The girls locker room is really big and clean. The showers are clean and spacious and so is the changing area. The staff is super chill and friendly and even the parking is great. I love my experience here so far and I’m super happy.

Every morning, when I arrive, I encounter Rosa who impresses me with her kindness and smile. Her exceptional cleaning skills, contributing greatly to the upkeep of this facility. Her diligent work ethic is truly commendable, leaving me in awe. Her cheerful smile always makes me feel welcomed, I must say, you have an outstanding team. Keep up the excellent work.

I’ll give this location at 4 star just for Natalie, this is my 2nd attempt to sign up. Natalie helped me out completely. She was very helpful and sweet, better than the store manager. The store manager should shadow Natalie for a couple of days to improve his customer service. Because he had made me feel uncomfortable and judged. I thought PF was a no judgement place. But I thank Natalie very much. I appreciate your humbleness and support.

Rosa is amazing at what she does & executes her job exceptionally. Shes always so friendly and extremely motivating everytime I see her. Rosa and the staff at this PF are great as well!

Like other Planet Fitness facilities that I have visited, this is a perfect place not only to exercise the muscles but also to disconnect the mind. The staff is magnificent in general, but I would like to make a special mention of Rosa, who is an excellent worker, very dedicated to her tasks and, above all, very polite and measured. I love this gym!! My experience here has been fantastic I have no complaints. The staff are all super nice and helpful. Especially Iris, she’s always there to help and is always very kind. The Manager is wonderful too always receiving with a smile making me feel welcome.

Maria gave me attitude and rudeness when I called. Insulted my name and accessed my private information with out my authorization. The application doesn’t work. I checked my membership tab and the contracts and the dates and all else is blank. The gym is way too bright and usually out of paper and cleaning supplies. Also lots of weird people in the fitting rooms that openly talk about being homeless and using it for the showers.

Not equipped for the number of people here. You have to get in line to use a machine that isn’t a treadmill. Note to management add more machines and take out half the treadmills. Not even a 1/4 are ever used

DAYANNA,MARIA,AND LUIS H are very kind employees. They have always been attentive, helpful, and understanding with me. Today I saw them cleaning and wiping down the equipment. They are very hard workers.

I recently joined Planet Fitness and the team members have been very helpful whenever I needed something. Maria especially she always greets me with a big welcoming smile,she is very attentive, and goes above and beyond with her amazing customer service. She is very kind and patient. The gym is kept clean and well maintained. I really enjoy working out here.

Location could be in a better place. The outside would deter some but just going in is a different scenery. Clean and plenty of equipment. Customer service could be a little better with just greeting customers as they walk by upon entering. Overall if you wanna get some exercise in go early if your shy. Im sure afterwork hrs gets busy.

The night staff so far its very professional and very friendly and helpful, the gym its not as big as other locations but it gets the job done. The thing that i liked the most is that its the only gyms that are open 24 hours and its good for people like me that like to work out but have night jobs, i would rate 5 stars if it was 24/7 like before but they’ve changed the hours to 24/5 meaning they don’t open on weekends. overall you get good prices, and good equipment and fair workout hours.

Lucky to have this location close to me. Only complaint is why only one Fly Chest machine in the entire gym? Somebody was on it for over 30 minutes doing more than 5 sets. There really should be two of every major machine like that and there should be some kind of policy over machine hogging. Also, I wish somebody would build a Planet Fitness near Dania Beach where all the rentals are going up.

The gym is great and always super clean! But ive come to notice that the tall girl at the front desk always has a really bad attitude. Nothing against her! Other than that the customer service is always very nice :)

Please read to save yourself the money, in no way shape or form am i blaming the front desk associates, but i am blaming the company as it is brutal the way they handle money and client throughout this pandemic. I was told several times i had to go in person or mail in a letter to cancel even after i let them know that i had covid, once i went in to workout for the last time and cancel my membership i could not even wrap my head around how dirty and crowded this gym was , even once i cancelled they still charged me and i had to cancel my whole card and dispute those charges, this company simply does not care , today my friends will be canceling their memberships as well.

Been to other planet fitness locations around the USA. This one had a lousy locker room experience. Others provide body wash, shampoo, towels at their facilities. This one fails to provide these. The whole locker room XP was just wrong IMO. I failed to feel comfortable at this location as well as I failed to feel safe in the locker room. Nothing specifically threatening, just not safe. The equipment is the facility did appear to be well maintained. It was clear that I should not approach certain equipment because cliques appeared intimidating as if I was violating their "spot". The facility also closed off the massage chair areas but did provide a pair of massage chairs. I tried one. I liked it though others PF facilities provide better chairs. Overall I would not go back to this location.

I love this gym but they have to do something about the the cable machine handles they are all broken and old the staff also need to be more aware of the paper rolls so we can clean the machines and the water fountain downstairs is bad if you are filling up your water bottle and someone else use the fountain to drink from it you cant fill up your bottle any more the pressure goes to one fountain only, and i though it was 24/7 it closes at 9pm Friday Saturday and Sunday other than that its a good gym good staff.

I recently joined Planet Fitness with my son who has the High School Pass for Summer (a great program, thanks, PF!). It has been a good experience, and I'm glad he convinced me to join him. There is a good layout to the gym, and equipment is on point. The members have been helpful when I needed. In addition, we've been greeted by Damian multiple times with a big welcoming smile and Hello as we enter. His customer service and friendliness are not common, and this is really appreciated!

Excellent location. Easy to get to and park. It is especially clean recently… the new custodial cleaning lady that cleans the bathrooms, machines and common places does a very nice job. She’s super sweet. Thanks for all you do Rosa! My favorite location by far

These are 5 stars for Damian at Planet fitness. He went above the call of duty to help register my mom with her medicare membership. There were technical issues with the computer but he was patient and SUPER efficient. He's very nice and engaging and clearly does it because he cares... didn't even ask for this review (which in many places they ask for). Employers need more Damians

The stuff at 8th Street Little Havana is very nice. They work hard. The gym is fine. I changed my rate due to an answer that I received from the corporation, in regard my request of opening until later on Fridays. See below The answer given by PF corporation to my review/request is ridiculous. So I changed my rate into one start. I shouldn't be the one talking to any manager (as their answer suggested me). In addition, the manager of the facility where I go it's reachable only from Monday to Thursday, in the morning or early afternoon. Those who need to go to the gym very late at night, we are not able to head the gym to talk to the manager at the time he's there. So no ways to transmit our concerts. The young employees who work at the front desk can't do anything. --‐----------------------------------------------- Please open until later on Fridays. It's also a week and workable day, why to close at 9pm ss on Saturdays an Sunday?. The gym should be open on Fridays until 11pm, as it is from Monday to Thursday.

One of cleanest, nicest and friendliest PF i’ve ever been too! Wonderful customer service, ambiance, constantly super clean and organized.The bathrooms are also organized and super clean. I’m always greeted by Rosa when i enter the restroom before my workouts. She keeps the bathroom smelling great, everything is clean, including the sink and toilets, everything is stocked and the floor is spotless. Rosa has been one of the nicest employees to me at PF and treats all my other friends the same! She’s the best!

I have been a member of this gym for a couple of months, and it has been excellent. I began my membership to access a personal trainer specifically, and Jaqueline is a true professional, dedicated and committed to achieving your body goals. I have trained personally with her for months and have seen a transformation in my body, goals I could not achieve on my own. She is a great personal trainer, and I would highly recommend this gym and working with Jacqueline.

Starting my journey at the gym was very nerve racking however the support I received at this gym was impeccable. After talking to the front desk I felt quite confident to start my journey. In particular the employee Luis H was a great help in calming me down. He gave me pointers on what is a good way to start. He also convinced me that this would be a judgement free zone and I was accepted no matter what.

Recently started going to this gym and have had a pleasant experience since day one. Machines are always kept clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Luis H in the front desk is very friendly and attentive. It's very encouraging going to this gym and encountering such a lovely staff. Would definitely recommend!

Parking is always a breeze as the lot is huge (though you might have to walk in from the back/side) and the front desk is always very responsive when you tell them that a machine is broken or they're out of towels/cleaning supplies. The bathrooms are clean though I wish more of the lockers had shelves in them when you're planning on showering after a set. The one gripe that I could have is that a lot of the machines aren't fully adjustable to someone with my short height so I often feel like I can't get a proper rep in without having to scoot up/back/sideways etc. Oh, and I wish there was a designated space for personal training. I always feel bad waiting on the clients to move on or interrupting them by walking where they're doing lunges.

Very Clean Planet Fitness. All cardio machines in working order. 2 story with weights and machines upstairs. Highly Recommended!!!!

My favorite face to see at 5 in the morning is Rosa she is so nice and keeps this facility squeaky clean. Such a hard worker absolutely amazing. She makes me feel so welcome with her bright smile you guys have amazing staff keep up the great work!! 👏👏👏👏

I’ve been a member for almost a month, and I love it so far! I come almost daily, and I find the staff excellent in every way. They treat you with kindness and respectful and are professional and passionate about their work. Their help is always welcomed with a genuine smile. I like that the equipment is new and fresh and there are plenty of options for my workouts as a former D1 college athlete.

Great place to workout. There’s a variety of machines, it’s always clean and the front-desk people such as Adri are so friendly and quick to resolve any issue you may have. I love it.
