We drove over an hour to in the night to witness the candle light dinner, it was truly one of the worst experiences we had when it came to the service of the manager and the food. We paid the amount only and only for the experience and nothing else. When we were about to leave the restaurant, the manager hid from us to avoid the confrontation of our horrible experience. Would suggest this place only if you want to witness the candles in the cave and nothing else cause we dint find it worth it. A simple apology would have made all this go away but…..

I was given a cottage that faced the tip of the mountain and it was a beautiful view stretching the life of the village throughout the day. It was spiritual and the staff are just knowledgeable and hospitable. Wifi was not available for finishing my work but 5g works well so missed nothing. It's calm and at the same time, a troop of monkeys visit it in the afternoon to play around.

The location and the hospitality of the staff is top notch.. The staff were cordial and helpful in every manner. But the food needs a lot of improvement. Apart from the food our experience was very pleasant and good.

If you are looking for a stay away from city life then this is a must visit place. The stay is within the green and caves. You can have a beautiful view from room itself. Attached balcony is a add-on. Abhijit really helped us with orders. He was active enough to address our requests immediately even during odd hours.

Beautiful and exceptionally well maintained property. The vast spread area makes you feel like you are the only people staying there. Perfect place to rejuvenate and spend peaceful time. The room itself had a view to die for. Every element in the room and the property had well thought of detailing and will keep you engrossed. The restaurant, cave dining location and the amphitheater was unique. Last but the highlight of the property was the staff. The manager took great care of us and his team was extremely helpful. All in all, once in a lifetime experience of natural LUXURY!! Thank you for this experience.

Beautiful rustic resort in natural settings and rooms with a lovely view. Very courteous staff, special mention to Ranjith and Abhijith. Delicious food made by the chef. Highlight of our trip was the candle lit cave dinner - an out of the world experience!

Very beautiful property located at walking distance from edakkal caves. Staff is very warm and helpful. Special mention to Richard . Also the candlelight dinner in the cave which the property organised is a once in a lifetime experience. The ambience and vibe is beautiful. Highly recommended property.

Pathetic service for 6.5K room. Food was yuck and they took ages to prepare this mud like food. The restaurant is surrounded by monkeys to snatch your diet. The rooms were full of ants.

Nice place, and staff are down to earth. But never eat food from there, if food was good we wont regret paying a huge amount but here we pay more to get worst food in our entire life. Never eat anything from there. There are many small restaurants down the hill...

The resort is located in forest, good location, but rooms are very poorly maintained, looked like rooms was not open since long, dampness was all over with a moisture smell, bed linens were smelling bad,had to get it changed, anyways they were quick in processing our complaints, but when the resort charge so much they should take care of these basic things. Cave dinner is a beautiful experience but again the washroom near the cave had no light, this can ne taken care of.

Not recommended for anyone having breathing problem and trekking problem. It's adventurous stay, but it comes with price of no communication technology available. You can find insects encroachment into the rooms. Monkey trouble, but that's the price you pay to stay in wild apart from high price of the property with no modern amenities. Your only mode of communication is WhatsApp with menu but without price mentioned. Once you check out the price may surprise you with the quality and quantity of the food served. Creeks in bathroom doors, fungal walls, broken taps are some of the other price you pay to stay in public area in a private property. By far the staffs were trying to help in their own way, if you don't understand Malayalam then you be misleaded by their way of communication as none of the staffs don't know any other language or pretend so. You can also be confused about the facts...so decide wisely. Place is nice, but be prepared, no Wi-Fi, no TV no intercom.Only call or WhatsApp the manager. Quite secluded, Far beyond the city, once you enter the hermitage be like a hermit and stay till the next morning 😁. Enter at your own risk. My review is only for those who really appreciate honest reviews like I do. I have not seen any review of this place so was quite stuck their, I was not ready for this, and from the property no one informed about it earlier. Very much stuck with my 8year old kid and 70+ years old parents.
