Bambusa was a class apart cottage. One of the favorite home-feel cottage I stayed during my time in Kumali - Thekkady trip...!!! The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. I truly enjoyed the boating, trekking and Tamil Nadu interstate journey to Cumbum & Theni which was guided by Arjunan, the hotel staff who is a native of that place. He was supportive and very flexible and deserves a special thanks... This is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for Rajiv Sir who leads this; a true sample of excellent hospitality... Amazing feeling staying at Bambusa... Date of stay: 2022 August 10 to 12. Room Tip: 5 budget eco-friendly cottages with a bedroom each; with homely feel that were in the right corner of the property. Add ons : Kitchen are free to use and space for camp-fire. Serene hilly area nearby Thekkady boat service, Rose Park etc.. Nearby attractions are Ottakathalamedu, Pandikuzhy etc.. Elephant ride also available.

Good Evening sir , I would like to Share about our families stay in Bambusa Cottages . We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the hospitality provided by your coordinator Mr.Arjunan. The entire 5 cottages were well maintained, saniterized and felt spacious enough. All the things that were planned like Food, campfire, BBQ and sound system were excellent.Jeep Safari was awesome and best guidelines provided by Mr.Arjunan. Thank you for the memorable stay! Bambusa is a great place for vacation. Staff service is very good and they are cordial and friendly. They provide value added services in addition to room services if required.

The most enjoyable stay ever. It was a pleasant and welcoming environment. Besides being clean, it's got a few comfort items to make you feel at home. We’re in town for a stressful event and coming back to this room was very peaceful. There was a friendly and helpful staff member, Mr. Arjun.

A great value stay @ thekkady. Stayed there for 2 nights. Mr.Arjun, the caretaker was a good guide. Helped us out every step of the way including recommendations about the tourist spots. Last few metres leading upto the stay had become bad because of the rains but other than that it was a wonderful stay.
