An ancient Shiv temple. It has a water kund and an underground cave. The temple premises is quite big. It has a big statue of Hanumanji and Shiv ji in the form of Ardhnareshwar. There is Navgrah temple also in the premises. There is a very old banyan tree. Great energies can be felt during meditation at this place. The place can be more cleaner and organized.❤️🌺🛕

Nice place to visit. One of the famous temple in Bareilly of Lord shiva. Be sure to visit this place once in month of sawan for wonderful experience You can reach this place by booking a auto or ola. This is a water temple devoted to the Lord Dhopeshwarnath and devotees to the god wishing to pay their respects in the proper fashion must wade through the waist deep tunnel, (or guffa), to reach the statue of Lord Dhopeshwarnath. In addition to this the temple has a large water pool. It’s a unique twist, and for many visitors will be a new experience to tell their friends. Be sure to bring a towel if u have to take bath in pool but water is not so clear.

A pious sacred vicinity that made me feel anew from all the mortal sins I had been carrying with me. It felt like walking into a different land... Mystic is my word for it. The vendors outside the temple offered colourful tidbits. The temple itself is an epitome of holiness. Idols of multiple Gods and Goddesses seemed to shower their eternal blessings on all of us. The parikrama around the famous pond, if I shall say, took us on a journey where each entrance presented a different world. I have been blessed to visit the place of the Almighty.

The main temple is well kept but the rest of the campus has been forgotten and ignored. The pond is so dirty that it smells now. The backyard feels like going back 100 years in time. It has huge statues which would have otherwise been a aight of attraction but is now all dirty and forgotten. Caves are closed and no one is bothered about the regular upkeep of this part of the temple. The only part you should visit is the main temple and don't even bother going anywhere else.

This temple, located in the Cantt Area of Bareilly, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Inside the temple premises, there's a Kund and a cave as well. The temple offers a free parking area. Regarding cleanliness, temple management should look after it, or perhaps I visited at the wrong time.

This temple is located in Cantonment area, sadar bazar,Bareilly. This temple is one of the temple from Bareilly's 7 Nath temples. This temple is also dedicated to Lord Shiv. There is a KUND in the centre of this temple. Devotes have to make queue around that kund. On every monday of savan or on Maha Shiv Ratri the temple management organises a program in evening with very beautiful full lighting. This temple also have cave of Vaishno mata. This cave is replica of original cave of Maa Vaishno Devi. Overall a nice temple with great vibe. Temple opens early in the morning stay opened till night.

Dhopeshwar Nath temple is a water temple located in the cantonment area of Bareilly. The temple is devoted to Lord Dhopeshwarnath who is known as an incarnation of Lord Shiva. The temple is 7 kms away from the Bareilly city-center. There is a Shiva temple in every corner of the Bareilly city which protects the city, according to beliefs of people. And hence the name Nath Nagar. In Bareilly, to east direction, there is Bankhandi temple. In the west, Madinath temple and Tapeshwarnath temple in the South. Alakhnath temple in the North -West Dhopeshwarnath temple in the South-east direction. The site is known as the birth site of Draupadi and Drishtadyumna in Mahabharata era. They both were born from the grace of Lord Shiva to Drupad. As registered by sacred scripts, the site of the sanctuary was blessed when Lord Shiva showed up as a Shiva Ling before sage Dhoom, a follower of Rishi Atri, who adored Lord Shiva. The temple consists of several idols of Hindu gods and goddesses. The main Shivling is of 12 centimeters height. The sanctum sanctorum of Dhopeshwar Nath Mandir has murtis of Kartik, Ganesha, Parvati and Nandi. There is a massive wooden door which has the 12 images of Jyotirlinga. The temple has a water pond known as "Dhopa Sarovar. " It's believed that the water in the pool has medicinal properties and cures skin diseases. The other attractions in the place are the 21-feet Hanuman and Ardhanaareshwara form of Shiva. Vaishnodevi Gufa in the temple is similar to that of Vaishno Devi Shrine in Jammu. However, the cave here is artificially created. There is also another cave shrine dedicated to Adi Kumari. Shi Krishna Janmashtami and Shivarathri are the two important festivals celebrated here.

The temple is very nice as it is of lord shiva 🙏🏻 there is a kund as well... and a cave also which is known as Goddes Vaishno devi 🙏🏻gufa. My experience was good enough but I personally think there is no hygiene. People of dhopeshwarnath temple should work on it.
