Amazing Bridge, it was only 1 bridge back in the days but now 2nd bridge is under construction which is good, amazing view in the morning, you can see sun rising behind the mountains which is fantastic, wind is cool in the morning time which gives you a feeling of winter, can see the transparent water flowing below the bridge, you can observe fishes in the waters also and you can feed them with breads, flour doug from the bridge and can observe the movement of fish towards the food which is fantastic to watch

I think under namami gange initiatives all the ghats of haridwar revived, very well planned execution I would say. Though I could see maintenance wise not much work done on a day to day basis on cleaning etc, parkings were also very dirty... I am sure this can be maintained too.

Propitiously situated at the tip where the Ganges arises from the Himalaya, Haridwar is Uttarakhand’s religious Hindu city, and pilgrims visit here in flocks to bathe in the holy Ganges. The absolute number of people crowding around Har-ki-Pauri Ghat give Haridwar a turbulent but worshipful feel.  It’s particularly bustling throughout the yatra (pilgrimage) season from May to October and is the place of the yearly Magh Mela holy carnival. These are some of the famous attractions around Haridwar are Har Ki Pauri, Bharat Mata Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, Bara Bazaar and much more.

Walk here during Sunrise for beautiful Darshan of Holy Ganges. Also a wonderful sunrise with sweet breeze all along. One of the most scenic places in Uttarakhand.

This is both the way bridge. Another bridge is under construction which will reduce burden of this bridge since then it will be one way bridge route over the ganges.
