Probably the cleanest and quietest hotel room I have stayed in... in the last few years. But still not ready for a 5 star since it was grossly obvious they clean around but don't clean BEHIND the bathroom door. Post pandemic standards would tempt me to 5 star, but I am tired of the lowered bar for everything, it is no longer reasonable.

From the moment we walked in the door until the time we left, we felt at home! The front desk staff were very attentive and helpful when needed and the hotel and exercise room was well tended to. I have to say my favorite was Vanessa serving our breakfast ! She has a greeting for everyone and great attitude! I really appreciate how hard she works and the wonderful choices she offers every day! Great cinnamon rolls!

This has probably been my most enjoyable hotel stay to date. Very first impression was how friendly every single staff member was. From the moment I walked in and to every single interaction, they were all SO NICE!! The front desk ladies, the older gentleman, even the same two staff who changed the towels in the gym would say good morning to me every day. At breakfast the same nice lady would wish you a good morning and meal. Even if she wasn’t within view, she knew you were there and would make sure you were greeted. I do long stints across the country almost monthly and this was the most friendly staff!!! The hotel was also very clean and the room was amazing. I never once heard any neighboring rooms or sounds from outside mine. The AC has two temp settings, both of which are set to the perfect temp for what they are. Constant fan option. The fitness center was well equipped but I wish the weights were by the mirror. Breakfast was 10/10, I typically don’t eat breakfast but I did every morning here. I’ll be back next spring and hope the reason will be near this hotel so I can stay again. I’m going to try a Residence Inn in San Antonio the beginning of January and hope it even comes close to this. 10/10 all around. Oh ya, did I mention they have a build your own iced coffee station in the morning?

With a name like Marriott attached to this hotel, and that we've had a pandemic for about two years, youd think this place wouldve been clean. But it was not clean in the rooms at all. I looked at recent reviews and theyve had these problems for months and have the same response on google reviews. There was a cigarette in the window sill, the dirtiest shower curtain ive ever seen, and a dirty door to the bathroom. There was an unknown yellow flaky substance on the floor, and these dirty issues were not confined to our room, others saw these similar issues too. I would recommend the holiday inn across the street as none of those guests experienced these issues.

As I enter my room I check my towels and bedding to make sure everything is clean. The bed did not appear to look freshly made the sheets were dirty looking. The pillow case was turned inside out with a stain on it as was as the comforter had a stain on it. The towels were also dirty looking and one towel had hair embedded inside. The trash can still had trash inside as well as the carpet had chip crumbs on the floor. I went down to the front desk and informed the staff of what I just seen. I was then handed some new bedding to go make my own bed as well as new towels well to my surprise they looked dirty looking. I think it's time to get all new bedding and towels. Guests loves white linen. We were told to put trash and used linen outside the door for housekeeping. Well guess what? Those items been outside the door since we checked in and stay outside the door on the floor until we checked out along with several other rooms on multiple floors. Went down and explained what I experienced the night before to a different staff member and was provided a bag of popcorn for the inconvenience. Overall the room was nice just wished it had been properly cleaned the bed was comfortable. Housekeeping should always take care of the hallways even if that room is not being cleaned. The swimming pool water needs to be drained and refilled. The hot tub was out of order unfortunately. The exercise room is nice with a lot of nice options to choose from. It has a basketball court plenty of parking and the grounds are kept clean. Housekeeping needs some work.

Overall this is a quality hotel with a great location. Q was a warm and friendly face on check in and extremely helpful with local recommendations and suggestions. The towels and the couch mattress could use a refresh and there are only oranges for fresh fruit at breakfast. Apples or pears would be nice.

Woke up to felt like the cops banging on the door for it to be maintenance asking to get in. I have a sign on the door saying “later please.” They actually try to open the door but I have the lock and deadbolt on. Complete invasion of privacy. They are going down the whole fourth floor banging on people’s doors and I have been given no explanation why. There are holes and chips all over the tub. Rust in the sink and the fridge and freezer reek. The only reason I didn’t rate lower is that the front desk people were very kind.

Rating is 4.65 stars rounded to nearest rating. This hotel is a high usage hotel. They stay close to booked most of the year. I read through most of the reviews here and it seems like some have unrealistic expectations 🙃 for a hotel while others have legitimate claims. For a high use hotel, the Residence inn here is kept fairly well maintained which is why I'm giving this part 4 stars. There's also hard water in the area so even if it's your personal house it would be hard to maintain anything with water. That said, food definitely has improved from what others stated but it's variety. For instance, I grabbed a steamed croissant ham and egg sandwhich and swapped out for sausage and then also had eggs with salsa. There's a fair bit of variety where your kids and teens would be happy compared to many other hotels of the same caliber. Staff rating 5 stars: seems like most everyone agrees, staff is friendly and actually cares compared to other hotels. Definitely worthy of the name Residence Inn. Miscellaneous: 5 stars. This place is meant to operate as a Residence, not everything is stored in your room. I like the quietness and the two room separation which helps in family situations. Only complaint was the pillows. I recommend bringing your own. Overall rating is 4.65 stars.

Staff was great. Rooms were filthy though. Lots of hair in the tub. Pee on the toilet lid. I felt dirty sleeping here. Pool and hot tub were nice.

They initially gave us a downgraded room, so I returned to the front desk to discuss. I was told that they didn’t have a suite available - no real explanation. The next day I talked to a manager, who offered to comp an additional room, plus give a discount on the first room. This was fair, but upon checkout, the receipt didn’t reflect that price. There were too many small issues at this hotel: • Upon checkin, they should have told us that rooms are only cleaned upon request. However, this policy puzzles me, because guests will always need clean towels and have trash removed. There were a few bags of trash left in the hallway for pickup - which isn’t a great look. • Breakfast was gross - overcooked eggs, soggy sandwiches, and awful coffee. We skipped it for the remainder of our stay. • Of the 8 machines in the laundry, 6 were out of order. That left exactly 1 washer and 1 dryer for this fully-booked hotel. • The air conditioning was breaking down everywhere. There was absolutely no ventilation in the hallways. • There was a broken handrail in one of the elevators. • A side entrance that required a room key to enter was actually broken, as the door itself never latched. • The rooms with sofabeds are supposed to have pillows and a bag of linens in the closet, but none of our 3 rooms had them. • We never had enough towels. • There were never enough towels in the pool area. • One night, the pool area was overrun by a group that had probably 20 kids and maybe 3-4 adults. They left garbage and wet towels everywhere, including several candy wrappers in the pool and hot tub and their unwanted Happy Meal-type toys (I found 6 of them.) They also let the kids play in the exercise room, which is ridiculous. I reported that for safety reasons, but there was an adult in the fitness room when staff arrived so they couldn’t do anything - because the hotel does not have a policy for age limits on the exercise equipment. Overall, it was a frustrating stay. Although the staff are all friendly, this property seems short on linens, should hire a better breakfast cook, and needs to work on plenty of maintenance tasks.

Not very clean. Inside and outside smelled like pot. The bathroom in our room smelled like mold. Staff was not very friendly. Stains all over the carpet in multiple rooms as well.

We were here for an extended stay until May and we finally had to leave because the hotel just doesn't keep up on repairs and is falling apart in spite of the hard work by employees . We kept having issues from no water to broken hot tub (for months) to no heater for pool. The only reason we kept hanging on is because of the staff. From Derich, Andrea, Abby, Anthony and especially Lisa. They are wonderful human beings and I can't thank them enough formaking this bad situation a little better. Also on our last weekend there my little dogs and I were attacked by 2 Pitt Bulls long term staying across the hall. The big dogs rushed out of their room door to attack us at our own door. Those employees I named above all came to see if we were OK over the next 24 hours and Andrea especially gets applause for coming and helping me with first aid to stop the bleeding and provide comfort to us. We haven't heard anything from Management about this dangerous situation or dogs vet records which we needed to know if rabies were up to date, and or an apology or care about injuries because of this. It is unacceptable that those dangerous animals are there. We have been traumatized. I hope someone sees this and helps make a change there because the staff is wonderful and it could be an awesome place.

Booked a 2 bedroom suite and was emailed the day before to let me know that my room is no longer available. They suggested I call their "sister hotels" (which also have 0 openings) to try and get a room. When I called them back they had already cancelled my reservation completely. They said in the email that there were issues with the A/C but, on the phone said they had stay extensions that took my room. This seems crazy to me and unacceptable. DON'T BOOK HERE IF YOU PLAN ON STILL HAVING A ROOM THE DAY BEFORE YOUR STAY!!

The room we stayed in was large and comfortable. We got the two bedroom king room so we had two bathrooms as well as a living room. I would have rated it higher except for the following issues: 1) The first room we received was not clean (sticky floors) and smelled really bad. This was corrected immediately by hotel staff and we were given a different room, which was much better. 2) In both the first and second room, we found no way to turn on the light hanging above the work desk. This is a mystery to us. We asked about it with the first room and they said there should be a switch for it. We agree - there should be. The same style light is next to the entry door and it has a switch to turn it on. But in both rooms, there seems to be no switch to turn on the light over the desk. Maybe coincidentally the light was burned out in both rooms and should have worked on the same switch as the entry light? Unknown. It is just frustrating to not have a light over the desk that can be turned on. 3) The furnishings in the living space could really use to be updated. The couch and chair are quite old and uncomfortable. However, the staff was great. Everyone we met was helpful and friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a nice area and seems very safe, lots of food and shopping nearby and easy access to the highway. It's nice having a full kitchen - but since housekeeping is not offered unless requested, it would be nice if some extra trash bags, dishwasher soap, and kitchen supplies were provided for those guests who choose to decline housekeeping during their stay. We had no problem getting these items when we asked for them, it would just save a step to provide more than one of each for guests staying more than one night. The food provided for breakfast was.... okay. Not great, but okay. If you didn't get to it in the first hour or so, everything seemed quite dried out like it had been sitting around for a while (which it likely was) without being freshened. Overall it was a comfortable stay.

Room was clean and nice. Service was good. Breakfast was nice. Pool area was clean however no clean towels and pool water was SOOOOO cold even the kids wouldn't swim in it. The gym area was nice and the grounds were nice especially for being pet friendly. Did not like how we had to leave are trash bags outside the room in the hallway was gross as no one came for them for almost a week. Nor was I given anymore trash bags for refills.

The hotel is OK as far as Residence Inns go. Marriott is struggling as a brand since there is zero enforcement of what used to be high standards. For instance, I stayed at this hotel two months ago and their American flag outside is torn and needs replacement. Yet despite bringing that to a Manager's attention, two months later it is still not corrected. Rooms are not cleaned daily despite significant easing of COVID restrictions. The breakfast is OK, and they have replaced the small bottles of shampoo and conditioner with larger, pump bottles which may or may not be sticking on the shower walls. All in all this hotel is serviceable but could use better attention to the finer details.

Lisa at the front desk was amazing. I had an issue with my room late in the evening and she did everything possible to resolve my issue. She showed great customer service.

Don't plan on breakfast unless u like one of two breakfast sandwiches. Or oatmeal. No toast, waffles or bacon, etc. Worst Marriott fam breakfast i hv seen for the price of room.

If I could give this hotel a 0 out of 5, I would. We had a last minute trip and had to stay in O’Fallon for one night before moving to our final destination. When we checked into our room, the floor in the kitchen was filthy and I asked the front desk to have someone come clean it. Housekeeping came, barely swept and then told us that it was difficult to get cleaning staff. While I empathize with the situation, the floor could have been easily mopped and I would have been satisfied. We later found dead bugs in our bathroom. This hotel is extremely run down and not well cleaned or cared for. The ironic thing is the cleaning video that was playing while we checked in. The breakfast area was also filthy and not well cleaned which is not ideal given the current state of the pandemic. I would not recommend staying here.

Hotel was a little older. AC didn't work really well, never went below 73 degrees. Breakfast wasn't any better than a low budget hotel. But room was clean and I always love the flexibility of a kitchenette.

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. When we get up to our room I immediately notice a smell leading me to believe this room was not cleaned properly. However after take a few steps further and noticing a massive wet spot stain on the couch, what looked to be Cheeto dust all over the bathroom door, vomit on the walls in multiple places and a kitchen that looked like it hasn't been cleaned in months I realized the room definitely wasn't clean. It gets worse, I wanted to take a shower and the shower liner was something you'd study in a biochemical warfare lab, and it wasn't just ours. Our friends across the hall's shower curtain was ridden with stains, mold and who knows what else. Changing rooms would have done nothing. The staff blamed things on staffing shortages or not being able to find enough cleaning staff. That is an unacceptable answer especially for how much you are charged. If you can't maintain the size of the property with the staff you have you should only book what you can handle. I'm very disappointed in Marriot lately, their standards have gone way down and only care about the money not the guest experience. If you have to stay in this area, do yourself a favor and book the Holiday Inn, our other friends stayed over there and it was very clean and had a better breakfast.

The staff was nice and helpful. The rooms were a little outdated but ok. The bed was very soft and the fitted sheet kept coming off. The bathrooms were a bit outdated. A little refresher can go a long way. Also, rooms are not cleaned daily. That was a bit of a bummer when five people were staying together. This all said, we had a good time and made good memories.
