The gym has a prison-like rotating gate due to 24h openings during the week. Too bad none of the Basic Fits are open after 16.00 in the weekends. The machines are in good shape and they are many - perhaps too many for the space. There is only one power rack, only one bench press and no pull-up bar - doing basic exercises in rush hours in not working. Instead there is a machine for every little muscle group. The locker room has lockers too narrow for any bag, you only get hot water in the shower and there is nowhere to land your shower gel while in there. Replace a few specialty machines with basic stuff (as in the name!) and give a little practical attention to details -> get four stars from me. It is cheap though.

Absolutely horrible! We got a monthly subscription in February, in march Corona stroke and we couldn't go. We had a Couple subscription of 20euro/month. In march, we called them and tried to cancel, they said that there will be no fee during these months. We are now in June and we have paid more than 200euros. When you go to their website, you can choose 3 languages NL, FR, EN. But the customer service page is only in NL. they tell you the following "contact the helpdesk for help in English." --- but when you click on the helpdesk, it takes you to a log in page in NL. when you manage to find the number and you call, the first thing you hear is a welcome message in english, but then, you never have any english option afterwards. And even if you manage to get in contact, they send you online, on your own account to make a complaint. I think they deserve a bigger/ class action complaint with EU institutions.

Kleiderspinde mitten auf der Trainingsfläche machten mich stutzig, daraufhin fand ich die Umkleiden, die jedoch nur bis 15 Uhr geöffnet haben! Ich war am Samstag gegen 18 Uhr dort. Zum Glück hatte ich meine Sportsachen drunter und habe mich in der letzten Ecke am Gang einfach ausgezogen und meine Tasche auf einen Spind mitten im Trainingsbereich gelassen wo ich sie im Blick hatte. Auf dem WC wollte ich mich nicht umziehen, da es winzig war und ekelhaft dreckig. Es gibt nur ein Squatrack sowie eine Flachbank. Die Kurzhanteln sehen sehr abgebraucht und ekelig aus, ansonsten waren die Geräte in Ordnung, außer das alles in dem Raum Kreuz und quer stand. Es gibt kein Personal, daher trainiert hier fast jeder ohne Handtuch, obwohl überall Schilder hängen. Nach einer Zeit fand ich es irgendwie witzig, wie sich unbewusst ca. 4 Personen an einer Maschine "abwechselten", weil derjenige nach dem fertigen Satz aufstand und ein nächster sich auf das "freie Gerät" ohne Handtuch setzte. Das Studio war glaube ich zu der Zeit nicht sonderlich voll, daher war es für mich als Besucher in Ordnung, da ich nicht auf Personal angewiesen bin und mein Training durchziehen konnte. Umgezogen habe ich mich dann wieder irgendwo hinten in einer Ecke, wie manch anderer auch. War ein interessanter Besuch und eine neue Erfahrung mit so einem Konzept. Wiederkommen würde ich trotzdem nicht und eine Mitgliedschaft würde ebenfalls nicht infrage kommen.
