The hostel is in pretty bad state. The sockets look dangerous, the toilet seats are brownish and the rods of the bunk bed were deformed so you could fall down easily. My friend used straps we had with us to make sure he was safe up there. The matrass on the lower bed was so bad (I felt the spirals) that I decided to sleep on a air matress on the ground. However, when you are really in need for a place to sleep in Brussels, the staff is nice and they seem to clean regularly.

The worse place that I ever had been. The man's room smells really, really bad. Looks like some people live there, and they definitely don't like to have a shower. All the place is dirty. The street in the front is another problem... There's no asphalt, they're building something, and it's just a really a big messy. There's 2 toilets for dozens of rooms, ONE "shower" because it'll never be a real shower. There's loudly sounds all the time, day and night coming from the streets. The doors are open all the night, and theres no keys... 0 safety. This place is decadent. Don't spend your money here. We've bought 3 night there, but we just stayed one, because we we had no option.

Sickening! Worst place ever! No security as the doors are left open all day and night as they do not have enough keys. The staff was the rudest, sexist, and downright most aggressive I have encountered in any country ever! The facilities are disgustingly dirty. The showers and bathrooms are reprehensible . It is located in an absolutely awful neighborhood extremely far from the center or anything of interest. This place was so horrible that it ruined the only three days I had to visit lovely Brussels. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra Euro to stay at a more centralized and upstanding hotel/hostel while visiting. This is one of the places that makes you question why someone is even allowed to open or run such a business. Once again, sickening!!

The location is a bit far from the important tourist spots in Brussels. Nevertheless, it is quite close to bus stops and tram stations. The rooms are good. Free maps and tour guides will be quite helpful . The shared kitchen helped me to save some bucks. The shared kitchen is open 24 hours and it's well equipped with facilities. However, the check in time of 2pm is strictly not followed. I got the room after 1 hour. The bathroom is just okay and there is just two for 8-10 rooms. But I felt it was worth the price.

I guess for 15€ per night you shouldn't expect more. Yet I did. The rooms were ok. Though the shower doors were kinda rotten, there were a hint of mould. One of the toilets was unusable, but at least there were more than one. If you need to quickly find a place to stay - sure, go there. In any other case, put in some and find something more worth of your money.

An abandoned Chernobyl hostel is in better condition. ZERO maintenance, dirt and zero hygiene. The bathroom are a joke. Not recommended to any women.

Even though we booked a separate room, at the reception we had to pay extra money because receptionist said that we have booked just two bunk beds which is not true. The guests are really loud, the walls are super thin. Wifi is not working properly. Bathrooms and showers are in horrible shape. At least bed sheets were clean. If possible, avoid this place.

Good place for the price; beds are comfortable though some frames squeak excessively, and shower rooms are small though adequate. Sinks in the rooms are very helpful. Laundromat, public transit and groceries are close-by. No WiFi in the rooms is a downside, though it is a good connection in the common area.

Really bad place, the room was very old, with the bed broken, too many noises, ann we could heard the water falling in the bathroom.

It's an alirght place if you just need a bed for a night. Otherwise I'd really not recommend the place! The showers are awful, there a 3 cabinets for a total of 20 dorm rooms and a huge risk of flooding the whole floor that they're on when you decide to take a shower. The rooms have paper-thin walls, so if you have loud neighbours good look to find some sleep. Construction work outside starts at 6 in the morning, sleeping in is not really an option. In addition to that, the lock on the room we were staying in could only be locked when you had luck. Other wise not. The only positive things I can say about this hostel is that the stuff was nice enough and the mattresses were better than the ones in other hostels I've been so far.

The rooms were ok but someone from the reception entered the girls dorm in the middle of the night to look for something and turned on full lights, like torches don't exist. The bathrooms were really small and non appealing. The kitchen was a bit dirty. But in the end this would be all fine when related to the price we are paying. However we had a bad experience with one of the receptionist that spoke to us not in a nice way when we asked if it was possible to change from dorms to room. We were ready to pay more, the room was unoccupied, but he just did not want to try to arrange us, acting like he didn't see what was the problem in sleeping in a dorms being woken up all night by people entering and exiting and turning on the light. Politeness and customer service was inexistent at that point.

I arrived today and they told me that it was closed 4 months ago, not only did we lose the reservation but we had to go out and rent on the spot. Don't rent here because you are going to lose your money and have a bad time

I paid extra to get a single room because I had to work and didn't want to go to a dormitory. I got a bed in a dormitory on site. When I asked about an upgrade they wanted the full price for a single room. No offset against the amount already paid. Very annoyed, I moved into the dormitory. There is constant in and out and constant talking. I've done this quite often and have absolutely nothing against it, I was just prepared for something else. Toilet was outside and two floors down. Toilet and corridors very narrow and very dirty and old. There are 2 stars because the bed was clean, which I didn't expect even in a single room. All in all. Saving isn't everything. I should have listened to the reviews.

+ cheap, easy to get by public transport, relatively clean in the room, friendly staff. - old house, not safe place to leave own goods, smells not well, toilets and shower are not clean enough. There were no electricity in our room, but we got a discount. Manager was friendly and helpful.

An amazing night, had a great stay and brilliant time, apart from the old creepy man beside me. Loved the open showers, great feel of community. I rate it πŸ‘

The hostel is just a joke, it is not hostel at all. I visited so many countries but this was the most awful of my experience. Bathrooms are so dirty without lock and toilets are really unusable. Beds are squeezing while even someone walks in other floors. Staff (receptionist) talked in a very bad style. I've never seen such impolite person in an important place such as reception. He was really rude and idiom. Not recommend. Please do not go if you respect to your humanity. Better way is staying at streets if you go on summer. Or spend some more money to stay in another hostel.
