3 stars for price vs room ratio. So I paid 48€ for a 6 bed dormitory excluding breakfast. However, you may find cheaper depends on when you book. We booked a couple of days in advance. I don't have complaints with the room or with the reception. Reception was helpful and the check in was smooth. Room was fine. Comfortable beds. There was only 1 other guy in the room. Cleanliness was fine. If the price was 30-35€ with breakfast, I would have given probably 4 stars. There are no lockers available inside the room. You have to pay extra for locker (5€ per day) which is on the first floor. If you are planning to explore Brussels, get yourself a 1 day pass for 8€ which gives you free travel till midnight (yes, it's not 24 hrs).

The staff were friendly and there was plenty going on socially. There is a games area and lockers for rent near reception. No lockers in the rooms themselves which was weird. Location is a bit dodgy, you have to get the metro from the city centre and then walk through not the nicest neighbourhood. I liked that the toilet and shower were in separate rooms so that multiple people could use them at the same time, but didn't love the unfinished ("rustic") dirty ceilings. The private rooms are pretty big with a double bed, couch, chair and table.

Awesome hostel in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful with all queries. There is plenty to do here for all ages, and a great atmosphere. The 10 person dorm did have the bathroom inside which in one sense was great but also made it a bit noisier.

This is a really good hotel to stay at in Brussels for a few days! You can have some breakfast or even cook for yourself and the city is not too far from here by foot. There's also a train and bus station nearby. The rooms were clean and the size was good, but sadly the windows couldn't be opened, yes, there's a ventilation system, but it would have been nice to get some fresh air into the room.

    - No social atmosphere - Expensive for what you get - Water pooled at the bottom of the shower and didn’t drain (gross) - No curtain or privacy - Have to pay for breakfast - Have to pay for them to watch your bag after check out (8 euros for the day 🙃) - Feels like a hotel with hostel rooms - Far walk from the city center, sucks when there are lots of creeps catcalling you Overall doesn’t have the fun, social, cozy atmosphere of a hostel. Pros: - Comfy bed

I‘m really impressed by this hotel. For the low price you get a spacious and clean room for the night. I also would like to thank the night shift who took care of us when our roommates made trouble. They gave us a new room with a straight face and accompanied us when we gathered our stuff. All in all I enjoyed my stay nevertheless and would recommend Meininger.

I had a good stay at Meininger, the staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean. I stayed in a 6-bed dorm room, the space was a bit tight but manageable. I appreciated the big lockers and the daily cleaning, where beds were made and towels were replaced. My roommates were respectful too, however it is inconvenient that the bathroom sink is not separated by a door to the rest of the room. It was quite loud when somebody used the sink while everyone else slept. I also liked the common area, however it would be great to have more seating with power outlets, as there is only one and often already taken. The bar's music was also very loud in the evening and during the day, making it impossible to get any proper work done. It would be nice if the music had been a bit quieter. The kitchen was also pretty well-kept and not too dirty. There is plenty of fridge space, which is great.

We booked 2 rooms: one for six and one for 2 persons. Both rooms were clean (sure, walls were a bit scuffed, but the room was really clean), beds were super-comfortable, showers were hot and had great pressure, and bar was excellent! Even better, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful! Cynthia and Ava were particularly wonderful. We originally booked this hotel for the location…and because we didn’t want to spend a fortune for so many people to stay in Brussels for 2+ weeks. The cost was very reasonable…but everything about the hotel was excellent!!

The hostel itself was great, amazing even. However, the lack of house rules, curtains and windows that can be opened in the room was were we felt the hostel needs the most improvement. You would expect adults to self-aware however our roommate was not, the room stank and because we couldn't open the window there was no circulation of air, we also did not have AC (which other hostels we have stayed at did). The fact that there were no curtains on the bunks/beds also made it less private and added to the loud environment within the room. We believe that making it clear to the guests that they have to respect each other could've potentially helped. And making it clear that people need to shower in a 6 people dorm. The room itself (facilities) was great, clean showers and toilets, big enough lockers, soft beds. I would stay again but in a different location :)

Didn't expect it. The rooms were clean super clean, spacious, beds were comfortable, (didn't like the pillow). The room needs a window to open or an Air conditioning unit as the room becomes hot while sleeping. I deal for big groups, small groups, couples plus for solo travellers. The pricing is very good. For the hotel keep the prices down, you are sharing rooms with other travellers. You can rent your own room, if available. They provide your own towels, sharing shampoo/shower gel in the bathroom. Kitchen available on site to cook of you are eating in or cooking. Location is perfect. 10minutes walking distance from the Grand Place. Between 5-10 minutes walking distance for restaurants. Public buses are outside the hotel. Would stay again

An absolutely outstanding hostel - the best hostel I stayed in during my whole Eurotrip last summer; It’s honestly more like an actual hotel than a hostel. It is clean, modern and equipped with a nice bar and arcade upstairs along with a kitchen. The rooms were absolutely top notch with a personal bathroom and towels provided in each. The best part was the fact that not all of the beds were bunk beds. Depending on how many beds are in the room, some of them are single beds separated from each other, giving more personal space and that hotel feeling which you don’t get in most other hostels. The only minor drawback to this hostel/hotel is that the laundry (which is literally just a washing machine and dryer inside a closet) is situated in the kitchen where there are usually about ten people all crowded around in at once and the damn thing wouldn’t even work with the app that you are required to download prior to usage. Even the staff member who tried to help me couldn’t figure it out. So I had to take my clothes in a bag to this little but efficient laundromat downtown which wasn’t too far and wasn’t that big of a deal but still. For a fancy hotel-like hostel, that’s something which could and should be improved. But don’t let that stop you from staying here if you’re planning on visiting Brussels. You won’t find much better than this 👍🏼👍🏼

This is a great hostel, it has a really nice bar with outdoor seating making it super easy to socialize. the kitchen is well kept and there are lockers in each room. the hostel itself is very safe but I felt the surrounding area was a bit rough. the underground was less than 10 mins away walk which was very useful but I wouldn't venture too far right out of the hostel.

Pros: The best hostel in Burxelles in terms of location, services, quality of the place. The hostel consists of several floors with a bar, a restaurant for evening parties, and an equipped kitchen for what he wants to cook for himself. The rooms are very clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable, the bathrooms are very equipped, and there is also hand, hair and body lotion, and a hair dryer. Staff is friendly and helpful specially the team who's prepared the breakfast very smiley. The location is excellent near to the bus and tram station. The prices for the accommodation is fine for a such quality. The hostel is safe. Overall rating is 09/10. Cons: They can't accept cash for the payment at the reception only with credit cards. Otherwise can't complain. Enjoy the experience.

The stay was very great , Everything is very clear and smooth when it goes to the check in process , the actual rooms were very clean and equipped with most of what you actually need ( shampoo , towels and hair dryer ) The design of the place is very modern with an industrial vibe. Highly recommended and totally reasonable pricing.

Meningier Central offers both cozy Hostel rooms (from 4 to 12 beds) and normal hotel rooms. The place is in a good position, 5-10 minutes from the nearest metro station and with many bus stops nearby. The hotel itself looks new and is decorated in a typical pop style. In the common rooms, there is plenty space to sit and walk around. They also offer luggage accommodation and a small kitchen to cook breakfast and so on. The 6 person room was very clean, beds were wide and comfortable, sheets and bedcovers were clean. The hostel also offers towels (wide and small) for free, and changes them every day, which is very good. Shower and toilet were well kept, and warm water was no issue. All in all a wonderful experience, we will definitely come here again. Great job!

The rooms were big enough, for space for everyone to be in the room. The facilities were always clean, and the personnel were amazing. I loved the environment they create at night at the bar, since it gives you opportunity to socialize with other people. Really well located.

Friendly receptionists, towels provided in the rooms, decent sleep. Spitting distance from the city centre, and south station is just a short tram ride away. The rooms got a bit hot and we could hear shouting etc. from the corridor. Other than that, very nice.

I stayed for 2 nights in a mixed dormitory. The rooms were regularly clean and also the place opened up opportunities to meet new people. They have a cafe with breakfast and a bar with authentic Belgian beer next to reception. The games room was also well equipped and fun to hang out with. Will recommend solo travellers as it is a great opportunity to meet new people and groups!

Great hostel, in a good location. Was very clean and had accommodating staff. Only complaint is that locks are not provided and are sold in the vending machine for €9 but staff informed me that there was a grocery store 5 min walk away that sold them for cheaper.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Menninger hotel for two days during a weekend trip at brussels as solo traveler. This is a summary of the pros and cons of the hostel: Pros: - Good location. Walking distance from the city center, and within 5-minute walk from the nearest metro station - Price. I managed to get in a mixed dorm for 30€ each night, which is a really competitive price given the location of the hostel. - Good facilities. Common area, kitchen, board games, etc. Makes easy to socialize, and I could meet with other solo travelers within the first day. - Despite being 4 euros each, there was both a laundry machine and dryer. Cons: - There are lockers, but they cos 5-6€ every 24 hours, and are placed in the common area so, if you forgot something in, you would need to leave your bed and go all the way to the first floor. You could also get free locked cabinets in your room if you bring your own padlock. - There is no night desk near the bed, just a plug in the wall and a small light. - The beds have no curtain or other privacy measure. I did not have any issues with it, but I can imagine being a problem, specially considering that the dorm is mixed. Also, if the lights of the room are turned on (or the personal lights near all beds) you will notice. Conclusions: - 4/5 hostel missed some amenities but can’t complain given the price and the location.

What I liked: I slept in a 6-bed mixed dorm (room 205) and I really liked it. It had a good layout and was tidy and clean. Many hostels have a problem with smelly and moldy rooms, this one didn't. I liked the bathroom constellation with seperated toilet, shower and sink. The lockers were big enough. The staff was splendid and forthcoming. What can be improved: My friend and I would have loved a common area with more space and less busyness. The tables in front of the kitchen were usually taken, which made it hard to find a place to eat, play cards, have a chat or just unwind from the bustling. A second, quieter and less noisy area would have been great, but the bar as well as the breakfast room were closed throughout the day. We respect that they probably shouldn't be left unobserved, but it would have been amazing if it was possible to still use at least the seating area. I've stayed in places that simply wall off the sensitive areas like buffet and bar when not in use.

Very good experience. All the staff were so friendly and attentive, especially staff at breakfast room, reception and housekeeping. My room was very bright and large size, windows were totally sound proof and equipped with black out curtains and blinds to provide very good sleeping experience. All areas including public areas and my room were clean and tidy. The location was so convenient, close to the city center and also accessible to the public transportation. Breakfast was good enough for it’s price and you can have all the basic needs. There’s no mini fridge or tea/coffee maker in the rooms but wasn’t really big deal as you can have drinks at the public areas of the hotel. I didn’t use the public areas that much but in a very quick look, it was fine. Beds were quite comfortable but the pillows were too soft for me but it’s something really depends on personal taste. Due to all positive points I saw in the hotel, I extended my stay for one more night to enjoy the hotel vibe more.

the location of the hotel is very comfortable for visiting the city center, the hotel is located within an environment that exudes creativity, the location is modern, young and offers many entertainment for people of all ages, there is the opportunity to enjoy the environments, the rooms are large with very comfortable mattresses and excellent spaces, furnished in a modern way I would have added a nightstand next to the bed instead of the table. our stay was very pleasant.

Meininger is always THE BEST. Chain hostels simply beat individual hostels for their standards for each aspects. Each of the appliances and services are well thought when individual hostels just realized it can be a problem. I would start traveling with Meininger, because it is a brand that I can trust for the experience. Beds are made every day with towels prepared, it was joyful to come back to my bed every day. In addition, they have some of the best staffs, a short conversation with them can simply make your day.

We‘ve been here for two nights. The overall impression is quite good. However, our room was not really clean when we checked in. There was a smell of cleaning supplies which indicated, that the bathroom might have been clean. However, the floor was not clean at all. Lots of dust etc on the floor. Besides of that, the stay was good. We liked the bar and outside area. Breakfast was good, only missing the scrambled eggs ;-) I would book here again. The location is 15min walking distance to the city center with restaurants and bars etc. There is a Tram going from near the Hotel (200m) directly to the King Baudouin Stadium.

Amazing hostel! Nice staff, clean and it feels more like a hotel. They even give you towels and change it everyday. Rooms are spacious and looks like new. I stayed for 3 nights and met amazing people there. Also, it’s walking distance to the main touristic spots. :)

Staying here felt like a luxurious experience: the best hostel mattresses I’ve even had and lovely fluffy duvets! They also make you bed every day! Would seriously recommend staying here!

  • 2/5 Tom L. 9 months ago on Google
Probably one of the worst hostels I’ve stayed at for social atmosphere, it’s pretty well non existent. Very strange bar and outdoor set up that blends with a public restaurant. The beds have no curtains and have open ends, so no privacy at all, the dorm window doesn’t open with no A/C so it’s extremely warm and uncomfortable, and the toilet and shower is located in the dorm room itself so there is constant noise coming from there. So do not expect a good sleep. The location is okay, as it’s only a 10 minute walk or so to the grand place, but that’s about all this place has going for it.

This hostel was the best I think I have ever stayed in. They provide you with towels, bathrooms in the room, AC and they make your beds every day. The breakfast was great, huge variety of all kinds of foods! This was also one of the cheaper hostels we have booked on our month-long visit over Europe. I will definitely be staying here again!

The place was easy to find, they have offered free parking for my motorcycle. The room was big and clean with plenty of storage, we had a separate bathroom and shower in the room, very clean. I do recommend to bring a padlock with you.

The hotel was excellent and the staff super nice! Also a warm regard to the bar staff, specially the super friendly, Spanish speaking host (forgot his name) who saved us from hunger often 💖 We loved the hotel setting and atmosphere and will be back for sure. Keep up the excellent work!

The hotel is nice and conformable and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately we parked our car in the street in front of the hotel and someone broke a window to get into the car. I asked if it would be fine to park in the street but sadly I was poorly advised about the safety of the neighbourhood. Be sure to advise your customers! But the staff members were all very nice...

We had a group of 9 for 2 nights in Brussels. The hotel rooms were clean, large, recently renovated and the location was excellent for everything you'd want to do in Brussels. Small things, which just make your stay easier - there's good coffee just opposite in the Musuem, there's ample place for taxis to pick up/drop off and loads of scooters and bikes to hire nearby. Price point is just right for what's on offer and service was excellent. Would stay again.

As this was my first time in a Hostel, I have to say that it was a good experience. The place is very big and very spacious, and it has all that everyone needs. The rooms are spacious and contain all that you need, such as bath showers, towels, toilet paper etc. the rooms are also very clean and very nice. The place is very lively and there is always someone at the reception, as it is 24 hours and all the receptionists are incredibly nice and readily available. Have to say that I recommend this place; 10/10! Well done Guys! Made me enjoy my stay!

This is a great place to stay. I stayed in both a 6 bed dorm room and a twin private room. Both were great, showers were powerful too. The building is well designed with modern feel and the location is great15/20 mins walk to the centre. Reasonable Price and friendly staff.

I absolutely loved this place. I’ve been to many hostels around Europe but this one is special. Rooms are very clean and nice, they clean them everyday and even change the towels. It has a bar in which you can also have something to eat, and, on a Saturday night there was an amazing jam session. The staff is really nice, would love to come back here, also the city centre is just 10 minutes on foot.

Overall good hotel. Heavy amounts of mould in the bathroom with no ventilation. Rooms were also extremely hot on a 20 degree day. Zero ventilation throughout the hotel. Downstairs area is very nice. Pool table/bar etc.

The reservation process was somewhat chaotic around payment, which was not a pleasant experience. The arrival and reception at the hotel was pleasant and went smoothly. Compliments to the hotel staff. Knowledgeable staff and friendly. Unfortunately experienced a lot of nuisance from other guests. So tip to hand out earplugs. And breakfast was all a bit messy (very busy) and was not very tasty.

My friend and I are both girls who decided to book the 10-person room opting to not go with the all-female option. Our room ended up only having 6 beds, with two sets of bunk beds and then two twin beds right next to each other. When I say right next to each other, I mean there was maybe an inch so I was sleeping very close to this random guy but surprisingly it wasn't that weird and I felt pretty safe. My friend and I got there late so we weren't able to pick our beds so defintely if you care about sleeping close by you should get there earlier than later (it also depends on how long the other people in your room have been there for). Additionally, my friend and I got lucky in that we were in the same room (there were no guarantees). In general, I think if I stayed there by myself I would select the all-women dorm although I felt pretty safe with the men in there. In terms of theft, there are lockers for rent in the community area which are 5 euro for 24 hours for the small lockers and I believe 7 for 24h for the big lockers. My friend and I were able to put both of our fairly large backpacks in one small locker. Additionally, there were cupboards in the room with handles that could fit a personal lock if you wanted to lock your stuff inside. The bedding and room in general seemed very clean and we were given a hand and bath towel. There was a separate area for the sink, and then a small room with a shower and a small room with the toilet. Overall everything was good and my friend and I had a good experience.

This was my first stay at a Meninger Hotel. I would highly recommend it to families or anyone looking to travel on a budget. The reception staff were friendly and happy to assist when needed, rooms were spotless and the buffet breakfast had pretty much everything you could think of. Great location, you can walk right out the door and into the city in no time without needing to navigate any public transport.

Couldn't recommend this place more! So clean (exactly how the pictures showed). Beds were SOO comfortable and clean. Great atmosphere. Nice bar downstairs (with live band). Great kitchen if you wanted to cook. And best of all, 10 minute walk to the heart of the city and (30 min walk to the airport/train)!!!

Very clean modern hostel with friendly staff. It was more like a hotel than a hostel with many large groups and families. Perhaps not the best place to stay if you are a solo traveller as it was hard to meet people however the rooms were very nice very clean, it had comfortable beds, hot water and it was quiet. A bit farther from the city centre than I would have liked.

Some things can improve. We arrived at 3 pm and the room was not ready until 4.30 pm, and the next day the cleaning service came at 10.30 am, extremely late one day and extremely early the next one. The check-in at 3 pm is TOO LATE, should be at 2 pm like everywhere else. It would have been a perfect rate if the beds in dorms had a curtain to keep some privacy, is not that hard or that expensive to implement. Beside these details the receptionists were really polite and helpful, and the cleaning was excellent. The location is also ok, close to the metro and the city center. I would totally come back.

We decided to book this hotel because it was close to the tram station to go to the Stade Roi Baudouin for a concert. The room was very spacious, with a small bed and a double bed, and very clean ! What I liked is the atmosphere as well as the fact that they're eco friendly, as in you will not get extra waste like a spare toothbrush or a plastic cup unless you ask for it at the reception. The room was also at the perfect temperature, not too cold and not too hot.

  • 5/5 Kimberly E. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms were spacious and very nice! It included sheets and towels. The bathrooms were so clean and the shower was actually quite nice. The blackout curtains in the room was a huge plus! Only slight downside is it’s not in the city center so you will have to walk about 10/15 minutes to get to it. Otherwise, great neighborhood and the bar was a good place to start before a night out!

  • 2/5 Cole S. 2 years ago on Google
The place is extremely clean and the staff is fantastic and the beds are great! Unfortunately apparently meininger had apparently become a haven for families and their extremely horrible children. All throughout the day and night there were 10 to 12 children running around and screaming - in the kitchen also as I was trying to make food and almost got knocked over twice- the parents looking on not caring and none of the staff telling the parents to discipline their kids. I know it's not necessarily the fault of the place or the staff, but makes for a very unpleasant experience . Also the fact that reception and check in is open all the time , every night from 11pm upwards people would be coming in turning on lights, organizing bags, showering until 1am or 2am making it impossible to sleep. This seems like a flawed system . I barely got any sleep the whole time I was there. I stayed an extra night thinking it would get better but got worse. Overall great potential , but poor execution. Really disappointed ☹️

The good: The rooms were nice, spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful The wifi was great The bad: The kitchen is way too small and there is only one small sink. It was way too small for the amount of guests. (And we visited in November) The microwave broke and it was not fixed. (We were there for a week).

We were a group of 4 and stayed in a quad room. We had everything we needed, the room was cozy and warm, the beds were very comfortable, we appreciated the shower and the toilet had their own little room. We had breakfast only one day of the stay and 10 euros for that is way overpriced, but it wasn’t bad, just basic.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms are separate from the common area which is great because is very quiet. There are lockers at the room, the beds are very clean and comfy. Bathroom and shower ok. The common areas are very colorful and warming. There are lockers out there if you would like to keep a few stuff safe before the check in or after the check out. Great location, very close to city centre with very access to further locations via tram/ bus or metro. Highly recommended.

My ipad got stolen from my bag in my room. The staff and the police were helpful but in the end, the thief is probably enjoying a free ipad now. Really quite unfortunate, and I don't feel safe coming back there again.

Had an amazing stay here with our study association. Our team organized the trip for 28 people and there were no complaints from the participants! Prices were amazing and the hygiene, beds and breakfast was very acceptable for our short stay. Definitely the place to stay for a group of young students/adults. The groups department team was also very friendly and helpful. However was really hard to contact the team on certain times. But nevertheless I myself also enjoyed the stay.

Very good place with all things very clean. The beds are sufficient. Very nice staff and fluent in English. Decent breakfast. The towels were scarce and I had to ask at the reception because they did not give me them. Very highly recommended to bring a padlock for the lockers of the shared rooms.

Clean Room, friendly people, nice breakfast, very quiet (neighbours room). There is also a kitchen (including a fridge) in the Lobby, which everyone is allowed to use. Computers are also free to use. And a gaming corner (Flipper, ...) is also there. There are lockers in the lobby but you have to pay for it, 5€ each day. (There is also a locker in the rooms, you have to bring a pad lock to secure it). The lights in the room are a little dark, especially in the shower room but it's okay. The staff is very friendly and they of course speak english.

You do a wonderful job of making your hostel top rate. The staff, the kitchen, the design of the interior. REALLY enjoyed my stay. Thank you so much! Elizabeth Byrne

The hotel had one of the kindest and most caring staff. I would especially like to thank Robert Nally who helped me navigate a difficult situation in Brussels and was kind, supportive, and extremely helpful throughout my stay. He is a truly caring individual and the hotel benefits from his service. The rooms were clean and spacious, but tended to get very hot during the night.

Its my fifth stay at meininger and I don´t want to have a high quality service, that´s fine. but this one I was without my kids in a two bed room with my wife and I wondered that there is no wardrobe (what is offered could not be named as that) even the desk is too small and this time I was not happy. The stay with my kids in another room was fine. Overall I would recommend this hotel but this stay was not so good.

Hotel is about 10-15 mins walk to the centre. Its agreeable and the rooms are large and clean. Only downside is that the window was unable to be opened. I like sleeping with my window open at night.

Hotel with good facilities and best quality-price ratio in Brussels September 2020. The shared kitchen and dining room is good and useful, but it gives more the impression of a hostel than a hotel. The surroundings are getting better with the museum and the nice canal. Recommended if you are looking for a nice and affordable room and you want to stay close to the old town (10 min walking).

By far one of the best hostels I have been too! Great hospitality and rooms are set up wonderfully! You are supplied with a well suitable bathroom, clean comforter, lockers for personal belongings, fresh towels and hairdryer. Plus they provide cleaning services everyday to tidy up the room while you are out exploring. Love that the hostels mission is to conserve energy. Plus if you don’t feel comfortable walking around Brussels at night you can stay in with bar access, numerous board games, pool table and dart board. Meininger guarantees you will be taken care of comfortably.

Simply the best hostel I've been in so far. Signed up for a 12 person room, and they put my l me in a 4 which had stand-alone beds, which was amazing and refreshing. 10/10 would stay here again and would go to this company's locations elsewhere

The hotel was perfect for a short weekend stay in Brussels. It has everything we needed good space for a triple room, we had the opportunity to keep our dog with us too which is a great option! Beds are comfortable, the room is a bit hot but it was manageable. Loved the small breakfast bag! Walking distance to the center, and we'll secured. Will definitely stay there again.

My stay at MEININGER Hotels Bruxelles City Center was one of the best experiences in my life! The staff was very helpful, the reception works 24/7. The rooms are of a good standard. This hotel provides practically everything a tourist needs to have a good time exploring beautiful Brussels. The cherry on the top was organized by the hotel staff; group night out to a few clubs/pubs. Thanks to that I met a lot of great people from all parts of the world and I had a unique experience. Highly recommend this place! <3

Best place for student, the rooms are really good as well as the services, prices are honest and the atmosphere is perfect. There is also a lot of animation during the evening if you want to meet people and dance

Pros: Nice location, fair variety breakfast, super friendly staff and willing to help with our complaints - thank you for the willingness of the receptionist on duty when arrived! Cons: The place is a HOSTEL for youth customers, it's not a family HOTEL location - the noise in the rooms and on hallways till late in the night is not a family amenity. The maintenance of the rooms is terrible, chipped and dirty walls in the first room that was offered and also in the next two rooms that were kindly proposed to us by the receptionist - this is what you get if you target teenagers/students; but don't charge hotel room prices, because it's just not worth it!

Very nice experience. Clean and comfy. The room was very nice and it had everything you need (hairdryer, plug and light next to your bed, soap, lockers, etc). They even give you a towel, and they change it and make your bed every day. Nice lounge, breakfast option, kitchen available, a bar and a game zone. Good location. I would stay again for sure.

The staff here are friendly and thoughtful. I stayed one night and felt very comfortable and safe. It is about a 20 minute walk from the train station and from the Central Place. The breakfast had great options and a nice atmosphere. The only small issue was that the electricity in my room required a room card to be inserted into a terminal. This isn’t a huge problem except for when the person with the card leaves earlier than the others. Not a huge problem, just a small inconvenience. Overall great hostel and affordable option.

One of the best stays in my trip! The vibe is cool, they clean the rooms daily and the place feels nice, has enough space for the beds. The only thing i think could be better is that the kitchen is small and it's not enough for all the people and the trash is so much BUT nothing special, it could be better, yes, but it's not bad.

This hotel is simply amazing, there is nothing superfluous. You can eat and drink and have a good time without even leaving it. The employees are responsive, kind always smiling. The rooms are clean, comfortable beds, the toilet and shower are excellent. If you are flying to Brussels and just passing by, I recommend it from the bottom of my heart.

We loved this hotel for many reasons, the first being how close it was to the center of Brussels. This made it easy to see the sites and go out at night. We also loved the kitchen and it was kept pretty tidy for the amount of people using the space. It wasn’t a very social hostel, but that might have been because we were there during the week. It had a bar so I imagine on the weekends that would be the ideal place to meet people. Overall this hotel was the perfect place to stay on Brussels!!

A great place to stay overall! About a 15-20 minute walk to all the major places and a great ambiance inside. The receptionists speak various languages and are incredibly nice, helpful, and accommodating. There are lockers at a fair rate to keep your things in and the building itself was secure. I felt comfortable and well-accommodated!

Seriously everything was great. Super clean, comfy beds, nice air system, the building is really huge, but I slept very well, and I think it's like a hotel more than a hostel. The staff was really really nice as well. The restaurant nearby is really nice, local and ethic food, a top spot!

Such a lovely experience in this hotel! Very efficient and friendly service, price and quality of the rooms are amazing for the city centre. Nice breakfast and a nice bar/lounge area. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay! Thank you.

The very first my solo trip around Europe and was super satisfied with the experience staying in this hostel. The room was clean and spacious (depends on which room you choose). The hotel itself offered some activities which were super cool for a solo traveler. The location isn’t that far from the Grand Place, you can take Metro (8 mins walking). There is also a tram station just right in front of the hotel. I would def recommend this hotel for a solo traveler.

This place is amazing! Stayed in a few hotels during this trip and I can say this one was the best. Check in was easy, the rooms are very clean and the whole property was up to date. They offer an optional breakfast and when we were there they had a DJ outside for guest to enjoy.

Three nights in a 6 bed room were nice. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms clean. The atmosphere was relaxed and easy going. Even though my key card didn't work the first time, the receptionist was ready to help immediately.

Stayed here for 4 nights in a 4 bed dorm and had a really great time! The staff were all really friendly and helpful - we had an issue with our room not having enough charging ports and we were moved to a better one immediately. Could’ve done with a slightly more kitted out kitchen (there were no baking trays for example), but the hostel has a really cool vibe and is in a great location (10-15 minute walk to the city centre) and there are a few supermarkets and cafes nearby. Would definitely recommend, particularly for young people!

Hotel looks really nice. Rooms were well made for 6 people. Beds were comfortable enough for rest after long day in the city. Thanks to that we were able to enjoy our trip as much as possible. What we would appreciate is to control the air condition in the room. It was too loud at night and also the temperature was quite low.

My stay in a 6 bed female room was amazing! The room was hotel quality with a nice bathroom en suite. The shower water pressure and temperature were wonderful. The beds were comfortable, individual bed lights were nice, the lockers were spacious, and there was plenty of space for 6 adults in the room. Fresh towels were provided every day and the beds were turned down as well. This is the second nicest hostel I’ve stayed in while traveling around Europe. One suggestion for improvement is to have more hooks to hang coats and towels from in the room. One thing to note is that the hostel is not located in the city center despite its name. It’s a 20 minute walk from the center. I’d definitely recommend this hostel, and I’d stay again!
