This hotel is perfect for people who want to have the most awful time in one of the most sketchy areas of Brussels. Hotel is breaking apart, the door is not working from the first try, heating was off, had to sleep in a hoodie, beds were dirty af, the shelf for clothes was full of dust and dirt. One of the plug had to have light on to actually work and charge phone. All in all, the hotel is garbage but good for students with no budget. I wouldn't recommend to families, couples, woman staying alone

I don't know what are the people expecting this hotel to be. It is 3-star hotel, I got NO fleas so I am very happy... The staff don't speak english very well (depends will work there) but you can communicate with them. Clean towels and beds, it is really not that bad.

The hotel was nice and the people there were helpful. Could do a little better job as far as the room cleaning, but besides that it’s an ok hotel.

The room needs a little updating but it had three beds for a fair price 72€/night In a great location. There is no elevator! People with mobility issues be warned

Terrible experience In Brussels. That’s the worse place I had ever been. The staff are unfriendly, they made me crying and bagging for a new room and I didn’t get one ofc. Even after I tell them I was uncomfortable and scared. The room I stayed was disgusting … it’s unsafe and very dirty. There’s cockroaches in the bathroom. It’s so noisy and the people around are the lowest level Brussels can offer, also it’s stinky and there is loud music all over the place. I couldn’t even sleep! I was staying 3 night that I paid for, but I just stayed 1 and get a new place. They charged for the other nights, no refund! I don’t recommend it if you travel alone, specially if you are a girl. Actually I don’t recommend it at all. Be careful!

Niemals wieder!!!

The room was okay, not the best but acceptable for the price. The corridor leading to our room was very narrow and full of cleaning supplies and tools, which made it difficult for us to take our luggage to the room. The corridor (and the reception too) smelled like a mixture of cigarettes and sewage.

The worst hotel I've ever seen. Everything was dirty and sticky, broken furnishings, lights that didn't work, unpleasant smell - I didn't dare to use the bed linen and didn't even want to know what it looked like under the covers. The area is also not for single travelers, women or families with children. I really felt a bit unsafe there. Why can a hotel like this have 2 stars?????

The furniture, doors, walls and lights were destroyed. Door to the bathroom won't close the smell was not pleasant. For the money paid it's not the worse but they could at least wipe the dust of the cabinets. We had booked a room for three separate people but only got two beds one normal and one king size with only one cover for two people. It was incredibly nosie the rode was very busy and the people around were always screaming. The mirror in the bathroom had many black spots on it an was smudged so much.

The attention was horrible, the people attending were the worst. Not a single drop of charisma and service, wouldnt recommend this place just because of the people who attend you

The room was fine for the money paid and was somewhere to sleep. Wasn't spotlessly clean but also not terribly dirty. Was in need of renovation with two completely different bedside light fittings on either side of the bed, basin not sealed to the wall, telephone socket pulled out of the wall, patches of plaster and paint missing. The shower was good and powerful with good temperature range. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable but we managed to sleep OK. Was amused at the level of noise coming from the floor above from an amorous couple one night along with the radiators making a lot of noise whenever they came on, but adjusting the valve quietened that. Overall was OK for somewhere to sleep. About a half hour walk from the city centre

Awful service. They say they have wifi but they don't, and they simply don't solve the problem. The owner and the personnel are rude. I was not expecting much, but they should at least offer what was paid for.

Although the location may seem like a draw for this hotel, it is actually located in a very rough area, lots of damaged run down buildings and 1 street away is the red light district, where as a woman you feel very unsafe walking. Not recommended for families at all. The hotel is simply dirty, and though it's cheap, there's no excuse for not cleaning- it's OK to have basic facilities and no extras but the room must be sanitary. It's not worth it, to have unclean beds and disgusting facilities. We found evidence of bed bugs. Attached below are photos showing how dirty it was. We left immediately after checking in and seeing the dirty room, staff were angry and aggressive telling us to go away and that no refund would be given. The manager refused to speak with us, so we tried desperately to reason with the reception staff. In the end we simply went to another hotel and filed a complaint to get a refund. Learn from our mistake.

This place was not as bad as the reviews made it up to be. The hallway does smell but the rooms are completly scent free. Nice space and the bathrooms were clean (atleast in room 21) I enjoyed my stay while there and I think this is a great hotel of you are in a budget.

Avoid avoid avoid! You can't even call this an hotel, I've been in better hostels than this "hotel". First of all the room we saw on booking didn't match our actual room, as they have a main building and then a "residence" which is a old building with absolutely appalling rooms, I don't get how the department of health hasn't shut them down yet. We checked in and our room was dirty and smelled of cigarettes really bad. We complained to the reception and we were moved to a different room in the residence just for the night at we were told the hotel was fully booked, so we were expected to go back to our original room the day after. The room we were given had no water pressure so showering was difficult and the room was quite dirty as well. We were given back our original room the day after, which still smelled of cigarette, but at least the bathroom had been cleaned this time around. We stayed for 5 nights total and the room was cleaned really poorly, a couple of times we weren't given clean towels and had to go the reception to ask for them, with the receptionist telling us we have to wait for the cleaning crew to come in at 8am. After complaining finally the receptionist gave us 2 towels. We got stuck in the elevator 3 times (elevator had no internal door, you would literally ride facing the walls between each floor), but with our room being on the 5th floor and with the staircase being a narrow spiral staircase with broken handrail we really didn't have much of a choice. Handrail was being painted one day, but no sign to warn people, we just got our hands covered in black paint on our way downstairs one morning. We also got locked out of our room as they deactivated our room key one day earlier. It was all around a horrible experience for the money paid, and when complained to the reception we just got repeteadly dismissed. Horrible hotel, please don't waste your money here.

DO NOT BOOK THIS “”HOTEL””. First of all, the room we booked via Booking didn’t match the room we were given and wasn’t even in the same building. They have a separate “”Residence”” with appalling rooms. When we entered the room, it had a strong smell of cigarette and the bathroom had not been cleaned (there were hair on the toilet and shower tray). We’ve called in reception and we were given an alternative room only for that night, given that you were fully booked. But we were advised that we would have to go back to our original room the day after. This alternative room had barely any water pressure, the bathroom was not clean and the room overall was not clean (chewing gum stuck on the floor). The following day, one we got back into our original room, although a bit cleaner, it still stank of cigarettes. During our stay, the room was not consistently cleaned (there were always hair in the bathroom and the sheet were not changed). On our third night, once we got back to our room there were no towels. When we asked at reception to give us some, the first answer was to wait till the morning and wait till the morning crew arrived. Only after insisting, the receptionist sighed out two shower towels, without giving us a hand towel or a shower mat. Throughout the stay we got stuck in the elevator several times. This is probably due to the lack on internal doors, which I was told by one of the receptionists that was the norm in Belgium. This is clearly a lie. In addition to this, the railing of staircase of the residence is broken in some places, which makes the stairs very unsafe. On top of this, one of the days the railings were being painted without any signs around to inform residents and we got our hands and clothes dirty. When raising all these concerns this morning upon checking out but we were met with indifference from one of the receptionists. Her customer service skills are non-existent. She insinuated that the room did not smell of cigarettes because someone had stayed there just a few hours before we arrived, which does not check out with the check-outs timings. Her attitude was extremely off putting and was a “”perfect”” conclusion to a horrible stay. This place does not even deserve a single star, AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Nice place for a 2 star hotel.

Nothing to complain about or compliment. Just saw it has a 2 star rating. Then I guess it costs 60e because it's in a capital. Clean room, too small to be really comfortable. The shower was pretty good. The lift says its for 3 but only 1 @ a time is allowed from the management. Only in France & Belgium could a place lije this get away with calling itself a hotel. Personally I think it's overpriced. Minimal service, nominally polite.

Unfriendly staff, threatening tone and conduct. They tried to be opportunistic with an accidental booking that I made. I feel threatened if were to stay here in actual. Stay away from this place please!!

The hotel knew better days, you will find very good reviews from 5 years ago. Since then it was ran over by hoards of junkies who thrashed everything. There are visible attempts at renovating, but the handymen were also stoned. I've been in worse places, but this one is the funniest. But they have hot water, toilet works, towels are dry, no insects, the bed is in one piece and it is warm, unlike many other places.

It's located in Brussels Downtown, good breakfast. The lift / elevator was very bad and usually got stuck very often, our neighbors were from middle east and they were making noises the entire night, we didn´t enjoy our nights because of them. Cheap but take in mind the there are a lot of smokers around the zone

The worst hotel ever, everything is dirty and dark, the bed is like a rock, it's smells bad as soon as you enter the hotel and in the rooms, I had booked for three nights but I couldn't stay, so I left the next morning . The photos advertised is booking site are nothing like reality.

Close to Brussel-Nord station and Kruidtuin station. Room cleaning service and free wifi. Staffs are ok, neither rude nor polite. The hair dryer is broken. There is no balcony, unlike what it is said. English seems working in the reception desk but not other staffs. You need French to communicate with them. The corridors are narrow and dark. The light turns on automatically but slowly. Be prepared if you have two or more luggage items. The elevator is very small too. The area nearby seems not very safe at night, people yelling everywhere. Given the same price, you can find better hotels.

The only good thing about the hotel is that it's owners are nice guys. Elevator didn't work most of the times and there were used socks in the room which didn't belong to me. Hotel is located in a very dangerous area. Beware at nights if you can't avoid it at all.

The guy at the reception was not at all supportive and was very rude. No services were provided when asked. The bed that was given in the room was not at all comfortable. And the wifi from day one was not at all connecting. Very bad service.

Very unhelpful staf. Very old rooms my hotel door wouldn't even open. It should only be your last choice to visit this hotel.

Made a mistake by trusting a friend to book the hotel without seeing the review. We were surprised with room we got, toilet door had no lock, the wc flush was not working, window was broken. Upon giving a request to reception to repair the same? We were told that why were they not informed that WC flush was not working. Would not recommend the hotel to any one, please book only and only in case you have no choice.

Horrible experience. The room was very dirty, cut nails on the floor and furniture, all types of hair on the floor, dust, the furniture was scratched and dirty, the radiator was cold and couldn’t be turned on. I left because I was disgusted about the room. I didn’t expect a luxurious room, but at least a clean one. The staff offered to clean “ if I want”. So, basically they clean the rooms only if the clients want. I think that should be mandatory, not a choice. And on top of all I didn’t get a refund because “ they offered solutions”. Nothing would take my disgust away or erase that from my memory and my ruined trip. I wonder how the staff of this hotel would react if they see pubic hair or cut nails on the floor. NOT RECOMEND IT!

BEWARE!!! STAY AWAY!!!! This is the dirtiest, smelliest and most inhospitable "hotel" in the world. They take your money before you see the room and when you get to the room you can't change anything. You can't find that amount of dirt even in horse stables. Bacteria everywhere. On top of all that, you listen to commotion and noise all night long. I don't understand how a facility like this can even have a license to operate. This deserves ZERO stars, one is tooo many.

I came from Bxl, I was passing through and I came back politely, kindly if I could use their toilet because I was in a hurry, I was told, No! Really good service! Avoid this hotel, which is not very friendly.
