This is not a 4 star hotel. I stayed two nights in a duplex apartment. The apartment is very old, doors don't close well, carpet looks very old and stained. No coffee offered in the apartment. All fixtures and bed really old and almost broken. It should be advertised as a 3 star hotel and priced accordingly. Staff was really nice and friendly.

This might be the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in my whole life. There was no hot water, no heater, the room was freezing I had to sleep with a beanie and a sweater. The staff has no clue. The drinks in the minibar were past consumption date limit. I left after one night. Supposedly a 4 star hotel ? It doesn’t even deserve a single night, this place should be closed. A disgrace.

Wir haben hier von der Schule aus eine Nacht verbracht. Als wir rein kamen machte das Hotel einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck. Dieser Eindruck schwand jedoch als wir später unsere Zimmer bekamen. Der Flur ist kalt und unfreundlich und die Zimmer an sich sehr heruntergekommen. Besonders bei den Zimmern für 4 Personen war das Problem da, dass nur die obere Etage der Doppelzimmer warm war, während es unten sehr kalt war. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist soweit akzeptabel. Pro Stockwerk je zwei Betten und ein Badezimmer(Angaben für 4 Personen-Zimmer). Jedoch wirkt alles sehr alt und als müsste es dringend mal renoviert werden. Am schlimmsten waren die Bäder welche nicht besonders sauber erschienen. Die Abflüsse laufen nicht gut ab und stinken, der Wasserhahn läuft nicht gut und außerdem war an der Decke und in der Badewanne Schimmel. Am Morgen beim Frühstück gab es auch einige Komplikationen wie fehlendes Besteck, nicht Funktionieren der Kaffeemaschine und dass der Aufschnitt nicht nachgefüllt wurde. Ich finde dieses Hotel hat seine 4 Sterne nicht verdient und würde hier nicht nochmal schlafen.

Nice hotel on the avenue Louise, so easy for public transport. Had a triple room with balcony. Unusual layout with bathroom and main bed on a mezzanine level (see pics). Staff were friendly and efficient. No dinner available but a number in easy walking distance and decent streets to walk by night. I would certainly recommend.

Das uns angebotene Zimmer ist sehr verwohnt. Schimmel an Decken und Wänden in jeden Raum.Brandflecken über den Lampen,Teppich sehr schmutzig und fleckig. Starke Zigarettengeruch überall,inkl.. Zimmer. Matratze absolut durchgelegen. Auf Sicherheit wird in diesem Hotel nicht geachtet – der Notausgang ist zu eng, der Fahrstuhl ist sehr alt, max. für 2 Personen ohne Gepäck geeignet. Die Sanitäreinrichtungen lassen sehr zu wünschen übrig, alles verschmutzt und verrostet. Absolut nicht weiter zu empfehlen!<br/> wir haben das Hotel sofort verlassen, das Personal reagiert nicht auf Beanstandungen, also das Geld ist weg. Wer dort buchen möchte, sollte sich die Zimmer vorher anschauen, sonst ist das Geld auch weg. Personal an der Rezeption wusste nicht wie man über die Treppe zu den Zimmer kommt, das Putzpersonal musste uns den Weg zeigen...Weg Platzangst hat sollte das Hotel auf jeden Fall meiden, genauso bei Allergien.

Nicht empfehlenswert. Unser Zimmer war alt, etliche Kleinigkeiten kaputt, und schmutzig. Das Zimmer und auch die zwei Betten waren sehr groß, das ist natürlich angenehm. Aber an der ebenfalls sehr breiten Fensterfront fehlte die Hälfte des Vorhangs,.... Offensichtlich gab es auch renovierte Zimmer, aber bereits der Eingang des Hotels sah alt und schäbig aus. Das Frühstück war gut. Wir würden dort keine Nacht mehr verbringen wollen.

Shocking rooms. This is definitely not a 4 stars . I’ve seen much better 3 starts hotels. Rooms are big but very old and dirty. Old carpets old sofas . Broken shower. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. . Unless you want 1 star room. Book a hostel room and it worth more

Horrific place. Unfortunately booked and paid for 2 nights ahead of time, otherwise we would have left immediately. Rooms and other areas are old and dated. Showers are just a plain mess and even after reporting it to the reception staff, nothing was done! Struggled with the switch to turn it to the shower head; no shower curtain resulting in a flooded floor. TV didnt work. WiFi reception was bad in the room. Noisy hallways at night. No coffee station in the room. Advertised as a 4 star hotel, but doesn't deserve even 1. 😡

Where do I start. The rooms and elevator smell disgustingly and are extremely dusty to a point where you can feel it physically over time. There were holes in the carpets, a hidden kitchen with extremes amounts of dust, we accidentally opened it, but it is supposed to be locked. The bathroom is filled with mold, it is just disgusting. We called our mediator and got us another hotel, if you booked already cancel or do the same.

Nice staff. Nice view (but not quiet). Tired, basic but functional bedroom area. Bathroom not so good, but shower very hot and powerful enough. Continental breakfast with good bread and coffee is functional. Rooms need a deep clean and a refresh, but it's got everything you need. I'd rate the hotel as a good 2* accommodation, not 4*

The pictures on the website definitely oversell this hotel. Positives: great location, friendly staff, affordable, comfortable mattress Negatives: extremely outdated rooms, very unclean, poor quality, thin pillows, extremely noisy (I was by the elevator and I had noise well past 2am and from 6am the next morning), non-working electrical outlet by the bed, climate control unpredictable at best (either too hot when on or too cold when off), terrible lighting, terrible hair dryer... Overall, I found the hotel quite dated, not very clean, and not suitable for business travel. It is probably the worst hotel I've stayed at for work reasons in the better part of a decade. Had I been booked for a second day, I'd have paid for a second room somewhere else just to avoid having to spend another night in this place.

this is nice hotel. we got a very big room strteched over two floors(like duplex). and very affordable. only thing is it looks little old in the rooms. but, maintained well.

There is a heater but not air conditioning. That is incorrectly listed here. The prices are cheap but it’s a fairly dingy place. Safe, sanitary, but very old. And yes the rooms are big.

November. two levels room in the first floor. the noisy heating system was not working so I had to put it off and the room got cold. the room was also smelly, humid and the old carpet was full of spots. I tried to change rooms but the hotel was full (and no effort to help). awful breakfast (I found "something" in the coffee.), dishes were dirty, etc. to complete the bad experience, the hotel charged me for the room two times. after multiple emails from me and my travel agency, with no response, and a late promise to solve the issue, my bank is executing a dispute... [btw, I only stayed there because I had an event in front of the hotel.]

Slightly down-at-heel fading 'seventies chic and usually overheated ( except in the dining room). The location is fine if your business is in Ixelles. Indifferent breakfast and temperamental coffee-machine.

Great place. Amazing bed, pillows, shower and service. Decoration wise, beautiful. 5 Star breakfast buffet. Excellent location. I would come back and I would recommend it.

One of the best hotels I visited in Brussels. Rooms are huge with comfortable beds. It’s located in a good area close. The tramway is just few steps. There are lot of cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

If you like biology this is your hotel. The rooms have their own ecosystem, a little safari without leaving the heart of Europe
