Home style mediterranean cuisine. Main dishes are 25€, but it’s delicious and more than you can finish, service is very friendly. There is no menu written, waiter tells what’s on menu today, and don’t mention the prices, I find it uncomfortable, so minus one star.

Buccaneers restaurant. They charged on bill whatever they want in the amount in drinks and starters. They don't give a price list detailed of everything previous to have lunch or dinner. A close menu of 28€ was at least converted in 50€ without inviting you to the final licour. You don't know any moment if they would charge you in the bill what they looks like an invitation. A robbery at the end. They don't a toilets for customers in very small space indoors restaurant to eat. They give to you a bill without taxes like pirates.

Made a reservation for 2 for my birthday dinner. Arrived at 20:30 and was seated 30 minutes later. It was busy so we understood. However after sitting for another 45 minutes, it was now past 21:45 and we had not been given a menu, asked for something to drink, nothing- we had asked several times. We understand a place being busy on a Saturday night, but with a reservation and for a special birthday occasion, which they knew about, you would think a little more courtesy would have been given. Be prepared to wait or not be served at all at this establishment.

Too much of ingredients. The chef add far too much of everything and the taste is lost. It’s like 20 years ago in the Eastern Europe to impress the guest. Put it all at once. We took a Burata and Beef carpaccio. Burata itself was good but again too many ingredients around. Carpaccio was a disaster. The worst I have ever tried. Better to cancel it from the menu. The service was good but one person is obviously not enough so you will have to wait. To take a seat inside is a bad idea you will smell cooking 🤢

Everything tasted of truly south grown ingredients. We had fantastic carpaccios (go for the salmon one! Bestest dressing). Main quite pricy / 25€, but enough to have it next day and tasted still amazing, so worth it. Most of all the place is so special in its environment and people (btw expect to be sitting close to others though). Still so romantic!;) Btw one star down just for bad ventilation, it got smoky once the kitchen was busy cooking for full house, but probably no issue in warmer season.

Really exceptional : only two guys take care of the place : one cook, one waiter. They improvise menus depending on arrivals at the market and adapt to clients' needs. They just simply redefine what a restaurant should have always been : someone who deliver great tailor made cuisine to people. Also, just these two guys taking care of the place, we can hardly imagine the amount of work. Then you discuss with them and hear that the own a second restaurant for lunch time. Oh yes and they will open another place for aperitifs, antipasti, etc... It's a great inspiring lesson of humility to see people putting so much efforts and passion in their work, genuinely taking care of the customers to deliver exceptional experiences.

We went there to celebrate an anniversary. We had chosen the surprise menu and were excited about it. Night started well as entering the place, although very small, had a nice environment. Welcome by the waiter who was from Quebec was great. We sat, ordered and just waited while tasting the excellent bread with tapenade. Starters took a bit long wait and were rather spicy (too much pepper). We had a child with us and they did not offered an alternative for him which we found weird. Then, the main dish which took too long (45 min). Quality was good but, again, for the child was too pepper flavoured. He could not eat it. After finishing, due to the slow service, it was too late for dessert and we offered not to have it for ease of purpose. The bill came and the full menu was charged. I told them that we deliberately skipped dessert so that they could close but if they were to charge the complete menu, then we would take the dessert. We were told that only 5 desserts rested (we were 6). We asked for them, we finished, asked for the bill and, again, no reduction for the missing dessert. I must add that despite of the spicy food, quality was good. Our great thanks to the waiter that despite all, took care of us with a smile. Would like to share our dissatisfaction with the cook that seemed to be above circumstances and kept a selfish attitude towards clients. We start dinner at 2130 and finished at 0030 ( were 5 adults and one child). Place not recommended for children. Cook abused of pepper and he lacked of tact. We could clearly overhear that he was nos ready to have commercial token with us because of leaving one of us without dessert. Sorry for the waiter that was a nice chap.

A neat, little Restaurant in Brussels. I first discovered this Gem when I left Café Floreo. They have some seats outside which made the stay even more pleasant. I don’t know whether they do have a Menu, but since the Owner/Chef/Waiter made pretty good suggestions I didn’t need it. As a Starter I had a plate with Hummus made from Lentils, Dark Olivepaste, some Ham (presumably San Daniele), Mozzarella with Tomatoes and some Arugula as garnish. Before that they put some delicious Bread with Olivepaste and Oliveoil on the Table. For the Main Course they suggested Tagliatelle Nero with Gambas. I had a Glass of Rosé to go with it. Everything was excellent! The Staff was very friendly and I am sure I’ll be back again! Thank you for the nice Lunch! A bientôt.

Wir waren schon mehrmals zum Essen in diesem tollen Lokal und haben auch Silvester dort verbracht. Das Personal ist super zuvorkommend und es ist eine richtig tolle familiäre Atmosphäre. Das Essen hat einen sehr hohen Standard und es wird auch auf Sonderwünsche eingegangen. Ein ganz großes Lob an das gesamte Team vom Meme Cafe in Waterloo.

My wife and I had lunch here and loved the experience. The food was incredible and you really felt like you were sitting in the chef's kitchen. When we arrived, the chef told us that the menu changes daily and that each day's menu is based on what he buys at the market each morning. I ended up ordering a veal parmesan dish and the tomato sauce that I had was honestly the best sauces that I've ever eaten. From the excellent food, the great service, homey ambiance, and incredible value, I highly recommend this place.
