After coffee shops in book stores and clothing stores, now there is one in a plants 🌱 shop. Lovely place. Staff speaks French, Dutch and English. I’m sipping a fresh mint tea and reading a book “How to Raise a Plant” in a jungle of plants for sale. Feeling very green today

Nice place to have a quick coffee! Unique atmosphere, where you seat among different plants, which you can also buy! Good quality in coffee and normal prices!

This café that we have found was superb in terms of decor. It is basically a cafe and a plant shop. But the service and coffee quality were probably the worst ever since we are traveling !!! Terrible but beautiful!!! So if you are a coffee lover — BAD CHOICE !

Absolutely lovely place for coffee, people-watching, and cakes. Come for the vibe, stay for the warm service.

I must say that the plants are a little over priced, but the best quality of plants and soils that I’ve encountered in Brussels. Plus it’s just so nice to come and have a coffee there as well. Nice service, too.

Very cozy and fresh place to sit, chat and enjoy a lovely tea or coffee amidst a jungle of house plants. Friendly faces and tasty home made ice tea made our stay enjoyable, and despite its limited seating options tables move quite quickly so we got to sit right at the window. Lovely view. Fun idea to also sell plants - every plant you see at the place is up for sale.

Loved the coffee. Carrot cake was yum as well but definitely a sharing portion. Love the concept of being surrounded by foliage but your experience is a coin toss because of the limited seating (current layout allows four tables with a range of one to three seats for each table). Luckily when I arrived a customer was leaving but if you have to sit outside in the cold (and without the company of the plants) I imagine it wouldn’t be worth coming here just for the food. Service was warm.

Went there for plants. I thought the shop would be bigger, but it's a super cute place. The staff was nice and the guy at the checkout switched from Dutch to English to French without batting an eye 👌

Such a lovely hidden gem! Very tasty sweet treats and nice coffee/tea based drinks. Not overpriced, and with so many lovely plants inside...

gorgeous place! Plant store for real with plenty of options. Also a superb coffee shop, just great. A lot of vegan options on the sweets/desserts front. Lovely place that should be your togo coffee shop when in the area.

The word grün directly translates to ‘green’ in English and that’s precisely what you can expect from this plant-inspired cafe. It doubles up for the perfect halt to find your next plant and mull over the choice(s) while sipping on a nice cup of joe!

Fantastic coffee. Stylish crowd. Def felt underdressed in my touristy puffer jacket:) LOL

Carrot cake, plants, fancy coffee, all you need is there! Really lovely small coffee and plants store. It was really nice to feel cosy between all the plants. Love this place!

Cute plants shop with a coffee inside :) As a plant lover, I enjoyed sipping my morning coffee in green company. I guess if it's on the weekends or later in the day, it'd be crowded and not so cool, but I get the vibe. Free tap water as well, yay!

The atmosphere is nice, but the chai tea and the peanut butter chocolate sweet are very underwhelming. Just bland and uncomfortable. I appreciate the plants and the vibe. the staff is nice. If it were comfortable and the sweets actually tasted decent and the drinks didn't taste like hot water, I would come often. 4 stars instead of 3 just because other cafes in Brussels don't even try to look good in any way so I can appreciate at least some personality and an adoration of nature. All that's missing is thinking about the existence of taste buds.

I loved the concept of having a coffee shop inside a flower shop, or a flower shop inside a coffee shop. The coffee is great and the atmosphere is really nice. I also loved the message they had near the 'To go' lids.

Great coffee, great tea Chai and all of them huge! Also full of plans as it is a plant shop with a very cute "save a plant" part in the back with reduced prizes. WiFi and vegan milk with no extra cost. We came twice in a weekend :) (Also very cute postcards)

I read online that this would be a great place to sit down and read a book. It isn't. The few tables inside are badly lit and have very uncomfortable chairs. Furthermore, even though the café only has 3 or 4 tables inside, you still have to order at the bar. As soon as you stand up to order a coffee, someone will take your table and you'll find yourself standing aimlessly with a cup of coffee. It makes no sense for such a minuscule café to require their customers to order at the bar. How lazy do you have to be? I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for a place to work or to read a book. Even the coffee tasted terribly. 0 stars.

One of the best cappuccinos in town, the best in the city center. The workers are very nice and the shop too, full of live!🪴

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Brussels. I come here a lot. I like the ambience, to have a tea or a delicious cake surrounded by plants and really soft music. It’s a little pricy but worthy. Plus free WiFi that works really well!

Thought I asked politely if it was open (it was 9:40am), I got a rude no as an answer. Can somebody explain me why a coffee place opens that late? How do you get a coffee when you start your work before 10am as the majority of people?

Beautiful place, really good coffee, superb cakes, and a beautiful selection of plants and pots. Cosy place with good service and lovely people.

Coffee better than at other places in Brussel. The barista is so nice! If you like strong coffee order Fransua

Definitely my favorite coffee/tea place in Brussels. Literally the urban jungle (you can also buy plants) Just so sad that the place is quite small so it's hard to have a table. The servers are very friendly (and they speak Flemish! ;D) There's free WiFi.

Cute little green coffee spot! Definitely the best place if looking for decent coffee & a unique atmosphere. Very unique.

Nice place to sit down surrounded by plants and have coffee. Plants can also be bought and comprehensive advice on their care is given. Place inside is quite tiny. Price wise (I mean coffee) is at higher range in town. Service was good.

What a beautiful place. Drinking a coffee and carrot cake surrounded with plants, so cosy. “ coffee was amazing “

Interesting place. You have to go inside to order and it looks like a cute plant store. Their seating is mostly outside which is nice on a good day but not on a rainy day. They speak English, French and Dutch which is always appreciated. A nice place for a simple cup of coffee.

My favorite spot in downtown Brussels. A true gem to disconnect from the buzzing Brussels streets. Great coffee, beautiful plants, helpful staff.

Lovely small cafe/plant store. Good service. The combination proves to be a success. You can sit inside (limited seating) and outside. The coffee is good but I've had better. For coffee alone I wouldn't come here, but for a unique cafe experience Gruun is certainly worth a visit.
