Traumhafter Zufall – wer sich kurz einmal aus der Realität zurückziehen möchte, kann das Philimonius Café betreten. Angefangen beim einladenden Ambiente, bis hin zu den hervorragenden Tortenstückchen zieht einen alles in den Bann. Der Kaffee wird mit viel Passion zur Barista-Kunst zubereitet und die Wartezeiten sind sehr überschaubar. Wir können jedem, der sich in der Gegend aufhält, einen Besuch wärmstens ans Herz legen.

Wide choice of hot chocolate and I know they taste good :) Cherry crumble and gluten free brownie are also VERY recommended. On top of that nice books and scarfs for sales.

Very good coffee, nice and cosy. It seems like it is a very local coffee place since the owner and the employees familiar with almost every customer who arrive. Even though we weren't tasting the patisseries they were seem to be very inviting and fresh.

The staff was not polite, helpfull or friendly. The quality of the coffee was fine, but overpriced and order took ages to arrive

One of the better kept secrets of Aalst. It's run by one of the finest baristas of Belgium. Tasty coffee, nom chocolate milk and tasty treats. Worth the detour from the main streets.

On a trip from London to Frankfurt I was looking for a good coffee stop mid route. I was very lucky to discover Philimonious as the coffee was excellent and the gentleman serving very friendly. This will be my stop off point for future trips. There is 30 minute free parking in a nearby square too which is very handy.

Nice place to sit, friendly service and simply the best coffee in town. Specialty coffees are of course available, but I personally recommend the black magic that is their ristretto.
