When you step into the stop it feels like you are transported into another world. The walls are decorated with beautiful prints of colourful birds. The prices are on the upper end so expect to part with some of your hard earned cash. Is it worth it though? Just for coffee a biscuits maybe! The cappuccino was served with a thin ginger biscuit which was absolutely delicious! I however have mixed feelings about the chocolate and whipped cream waffle. The first few bites were great but I couldn’t finish it. It was as if the waffle was dipped in a syrup before the chocolate was added, which made the waffle sickly sweet.

Being in Brussels only for 3 days we wanted to try both types of waffles (Brussels and Liege). So we decided to try Liege waffle in another place (a cheaper one) and we had the Brussels waffle here! First i will start with the price. We spent 16 euro for 2 Brussels waffle plus topping. Of course it is more expensive than other places(especially where you have the waffle take away), but we had to see what it was about. So we got a Brussels waffle with chocolate topping and another one with salted caramel butter topping. Where should i start? The salted caramel butter was amazing!! Not so sweet as i expected and the taste and smell of the butter made to waffle top level!!! About the chocolate topping... It was out of this world!!!! It was like having a hot chocolate drink on your waffle!!!! The Brussels waffle was so different than the liege waffle we tried from another place the previous day(take away), it was so light and airy!!! You could eat it easily and want another one too 😜 The place is very beautiful, we seated inside and enjoyed this amazing waffle!! So if you are here, you have to come and try this waffle!!!!!

Visited during December 2023 This place is quite famous across Brussels and being targeted by many visitors. They offer good customer attention and respect, ahead of offering quality products and high end specialized Belgian sweets. I tried their Waffles and other lovely products and all were found truly satisfactory with no reservations. My thanks to the dedicated hard working team.

Ended up coming here twice for our lattes and waffles during our Brussels stay! Seriously tasty coffee and definitely the best waffle during my stay in Belgium. Great place to sit outside and enjoy breakfast/ views

I can be honest and say this is the best waffles place ever! The waffles are crunchy from outside and soft from the inside, taste so good, the chocolate is so delicious as well and I enjoyed it a lot with cup of coffee which was perfect with the waffle. The place is so nice and cozy, didn't want to leave but had to because there's always a long queue :)) If you are in Brussels you should come here and try the waffles you will never regret!

I’m starting by the worst side. We waited 15 minutes for someone to clean our table. The waitress came and said she was sorry about the wait caused by the influx. We were Monday noon, there were no one except some tourism like us. Then we wait 5 other minutes for the order. Adding that I went several times to look for them. It’s unbelievable to hear that type of justification from an as well located and prestigious store like this. I'll skip the friendliness that is coherent with the situation. @director : it would be a nice idea to recruit more staff to help them… Otherwise, the Liege waffle taste terribly good. I took the Grand Classic one with extra whipped cream and strawberries. I recommend it, but maybe goes to the other one near the place.

Amazing tasting and very fresh waffles. They were very warm and melting in the mouth. Visited 2 of their branches during my stay in Brussels, this branch we visited 3 times. One occasion the service was very slow, I had to ask the staff 2 times where my order was. Second time the manager went and made it himself and they gave us a few complimentary biscuits of our choice. On out last day we bought some biscuits to take back home. Little pricey, but taste amazing!

Luxury biscuits sold by the gram. Delicate. Some taste of almond, others of EarlGrey or gingerbread. The shop is elegant and service is personable. Dining in available - hot chocolate, waffles and ice-cream are popular. Great place to shop for gifts. The packaging looks pretty.

We had chocolate and speculoos Brussels waffles, the toppings were cold on two of the three waffles. We asked the waiter if that was intentional, he said it no it was supposed to be hot and shrugged. Otherwise it was a nice waffle and good service and ambiance

I always get their Liege waffle: these are thicker sprinkled with sugar and whole lotta chocolate 🤤 . Though there are tons of waffle spots but I think they’re truly the best.

I had a Marolles secrets with Brussels waffle and it was awesome. The texture of the waffle is crispy outside but also soft inside and almost melt with the ice cream. I won’t say the waffle is cheap but definitely worth to try, it’s really delicious.

I’m sure you could find a place with as good of waffles with a bit lower pricing but this place is situated right in the middle of the Galerie and you can’t complain with the view and the ambiance around you. We waited quite a while for our order, the Jeanne fruity waffle one and two cappuccinos, but other than that such a treat. The best waffle I’ve had so far since moving to Brussels and this being said I wasn’t expecting much because it felt like a touristy spot. The strawberries were so small and sweet burst in your mouth with juice, the hazelnuts were the right size and texture, and the whipped cream is totally legit (freshly whipped and not too sweet). I really enjoyed the balance of sweetness in every element unlike those waffles you get in the stands with a million different waffles on display. And the waffle actually had a taste instead of just air (also like the waffle stands). You just can’t go wrong with this place it seems despite the wait. Everyone was serving with smiles on their faces and when we did ask if we could switch tables from outside to inside (it was super windy that day) they accommodated us.

I do love this place. I wanted so badly to give them 5 stars but I felt like some of the cookies lacked consistency. I get these every time I come to Brussels for myself, friends and family. Two cookies in particular lacked that crispness. They seemed much more dense and chewy. However, service was fantastic. The place is gorgeous. And they’re conveniently located all across the city.

When you have chance to visit grand place, Brussels. Don’t forget to eat quality fresh waffle, coffee, tea, biscuit products. Benefit to see old building interior that’s lovely and nice. Inside have some space but outside is not bad too.

The most amazing waffles - well worth the wait! The setting right in the middle of the beautiful Galleries is also just wonderful. And the shop is beautiful too. The only negative was the really grumpy staff, but once the chocolate arrived at our table, all was forgotten! The waffles are absolutely perfect and crispy, and the chocolate is heavenly. And the spéculos ice cream- omg! Highly recommended!

Best place in town for waffles and gaufres! With a wide selection of toppings, and many exquisite biscuits, that is a must-visit when coming in Bruxelles! I wanted to get the full experience, so i chose hot chocolate to pair my belgian waffle with caramel and whipped cream! Delicious!

A very busy place, beautifully decorated and with friendly faces all around. Either come here about 20 minutes before they open, or plan for a definitive waiting time. They are best known for their waffles, which you can have with any sweet and fruity toppings you desire - including ice cream. Flavour wise you won’t be disappointed, although it’s not outstanding - and the prices are adjusted for the location, so you won’t get away cheap. Coffees are similar: not bad, but not great. I’d recommend coming here to shop cookies and biscuits, and find somewhere else to get your waffles.

Maison Dandoy is one of the oldest speculoos places in Belgium. We visited the Maison Dandoy in the galerie du Roi for waffles and coffee. We tried both the Brussels and the Liege waffles. The Brussels waffle was amazing, super tasty and well cooked. The Liege waffle was a bit under in cooking but tasty as well!! It's a bit difficult to find a sit because the place is always busy but it worth to give a try 🙂

Location is central as it’s inside the Galerie! The setup of the place is warm and cozy with lots of wood work. We visited on a cold day in Brussels and the location was extremely cold that we couldn’t take off our jackets though we were inside. We had the famous soft waffle with dusted sugar and caramel on the side plus a flat white and a latte macchiato

Belgium Cafeteria, a must see! Best in town, mandatory visit for all tourists. Tasty waffles and romantic atmosphere. Usually a busy area, and the staff was awesome. I bet they had much work to do, so it took some time for us to get the food. Worth every penny. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Delicious Franchise that specializes in waffles! Deliciously sweet - strawberries are cooked just a tad to add to the amazing flavors. Customer service is smooth and polite. All my local friends recommend this place as a must try for your snack cravings.

Overall disappointed for my 1st waffle in Belgium. Not crispy. Had plain Brussels waffle with whipped cream, speculous and strawberries. Ordered toppings on the side. Came out with powdered sugar instead of whipped cream. New one came with whipped cream smothered on it instead of on the side. Waffle was good but not crispy. Strawberries were nothing special - for kids. Speculous sauce and ambiance great. Waffle was good but not crispy. Really wanted whipped cream on the side and not smothered but couldn’t send back again. Probably should have just took the powdered sugar one.

Very busy place, so expect to queue if looking to dine in. Waffles were nice enough, but probably not worth the price tag. I wouldn't recommend given I bought a waffle from a Christmas market stall the day before and enjoyed that more. The coffee has a lot to be desired, definitely the coldest cappuccino I've ever been served.

Very tasty waffles. A combination of cold ice cream and warm waffles. It's magical! Yes, there are a lot of tourists here, but waiting in line is not that long and it's worth it.

The best waffles I’ve had in my life. I had the Classico with Brussels waffles with chocolate sauce and vanilla icecream. Oooh la la. It’s so divine. Definitely worth the long wait in the queue. An absolute must if you’re in Brussels.

  • 5/5 Dani C. 8 months ago on Google
Delightful waffles! Brussels’ waffle is light and airy, we preferred the Liege, which is chewy (a bit sweeter) and a superb flavor. Service is a bit slow, but breathe deep and then enjoy the masterpiece. Go early, the arcade fills up quickly.

One of the best places to get Brussels or Liege Waffles. Fantastic atmosphere and good service. Sometimes there might be a long wait but it's worth it.

  • 5/5 M S. 8 months ago on Google
The waffles here are fantastic! I got the speculoos spread with some strawberries on the Belgian waffles (you get an option between Belgian and Liege) and it was the perfect combination ❤️ They also sell speculoos cookies in the store amongst other types and I’ve tried both the vanilla and original flavour which are both fantastic too. Slightly harder than a biscoff cookie but perfect to have with a coffee or tea. The customer service was amazing too and were very helpful when I had some questions about the ingredients due to allergies. Would recommend this location too as it would out of any rainy weather and is in a beautiful gallery.

The best place to try waffles in Brussels! And they have multiple locations around the city. We took 2 rectangular waffles, an oval one and 2 homemade lemonades. Very good, worth the price! If you want to try the original Belgian waffle, try the oval one. The texture is more dense than the other one, which is more airy and soft.

Of course visiting the Galeries St Hubert is a MUST do when you’re in Brussels so is eating a waffle, that’s why Maison Dandoy it’s a great option for that. The venue is beautiful but, if you want to sit down there is a line and you have to wait at least 15 min standing up before seating. Tip: if you don’t want to wait and just want something to eat and leave, you can go straight to the counter and skip the queue. Also it felt overpriced, while it was good you can also get a nice waffle for half the price.

Tasty waffles and cookies. Excellent service. One lady there spoke Japanese so it was nice and easy for my family to do shopping and choose cookies. Much grateful for their kind service.

We came to this place thinking it is one of the best places for waffles. Unfortunately, we were met with multiple instances of disappointment. First, the location was confusing; it was marked at the beginning of the galerie and not in the middle where it is actually is. Secondly, service was dry and not very welcoming. Choices are very limited and hot chocolate is not available even though it is mentioned in the menu. Waffles are good but the iced tea is undrinkable. If it is was not for the waffles, I would have left the place!

Traditional place, famous and for this you might find some queues. We had lucky because we went at 10am. Not queue and fast service! The staff was nice. The waffles 🧇 were amazing, fluffy, crunchy and fresh. The quality, awesome 👏🏻. I ordered the speculoos Belgian waffle, super yummy. Recommended.

One of the best waffles in Brussels. I ordered 'Brussels Waffle' with chocolate sauce. The waffle and sauce were served separately. waffle was very soft from inside and crispy from outside. It was delicious. Waffle was very light. Will definitely try this place again if I visit Brussels and I recommend to visit this place if you are visiting Brussels.

  • 5/5 Tarcísio B. 2 years ago on Google
Delicious traditional Belgian waffles! We tried the Liege’s waffle, but we want to go back and try the Brussels waffle and the cookies all of which looks delicious too. This place is a must go on Brussels.

Waffle in Brussel has redeemed itself. It was way better than the one I had in Waffle Factory. The ice cream was average tho. But overally I enjoyed the time here. The service was nice and the dessert was good!

The only reason I am giving this place a 3 star is their service and their cold drinks. We ordered a brussels waffle with speculoss, ice coffe and their homemade lemonade. The lemonade and iced coffee was a disaster. The waffle was really crunchy and soft. The toppings were also good. The ambience was also good. The server forgot our waffle order and we had to wait for more than 25 minutes before reminding them again. thanks

When in Belgium, you have to have waffles! I ordered a waffle with ice cream, strawberries and chocolate but they gave me whipped cream instead of ice cream ( chalk it up to language barrier). Tasty waffle that i wouldn’t mind having another! Also got some pistachio cookies to take home

Traditional cookie maker that offers a great variety of options. Defenitelly worth the visit and trying out all the various cookies and biscuits they offer. It's also a great place for waffles

I went for the Brussels Waffeln at Maison Dandoy. Of course the Waffel tastes good, but I think they are a bit overpriced. However the shop in the gallery has a nice vibe and I recommend to come early so you can get a table outside and enjoy the atmosphere.

  • 5/5 GABRIELLA DE G. 1 year ago on Google
The servers dealt with the queue like pros and got three tables seated with no time at all. Great Brussels Waffles served the classic way for me is the way to go! A must try place with lots of goodies to take back home with you. I love Maison Dandoy!!

Nice, cost place inside Royal Saint-Hubert Galleries. You can enjoy your coffee or waffle inside or outside where many people walk. The waffle was tasty, not something amazing. A bit pricy… 10,50€ for one waffle with a little bit chocolate, whipped cream and frozen strawberries.

  • 1/5 Hokkumi 1 year ago on Google
The waffles is not good anymore. It’s uncooked, soggy and too sweet, and it’s €6.50 for a plain one!! Overpriced soggy piece of raw dough. cookie were good but too sweet. The service is one of the slowest on the panel and staff are indifferent and not friendly. It wasn’t even holiday or tourist season. need more staff or better staff training. I have been coming here in the last few years and the quality and service are clearly going downhill. It’s more overrated than anything these days. Such a shame. Get your acts together.

  • 5/5 Alan 2 years ago on Google
Perhaps the best waffle I’ve had, and an awesome afternoon snack in between meals. The Brussels waffle is both simultaneously soft and slightly crunch on the outer layer, making it a wonder to eat. Make sure to get the speculoos, which are like fine biscuit crumbs that augment the waffle very well. The chocolate sauce was rich and creamy.

Super popular waffle house in Brussels. I got the Queen's Favourite which comes with strawberry and ice cream on a Belgium waffle. Pretty tasty overall.
