The pancakes were great, but the two waiters were not enough to service everyone and it seems like the place needs an extra cook. Coffee is a bit too sour but matcha is fine. The outside area looks very cozy but it was fully booked for the weekend. Overall good, however I prefer waiting for my food for under 40 min.

I’ve been coming here since the opening and have seen the place change and evolve over time. Getting to know the owners I know they are passionate people always trying to improve on every aspect of what they offer. I’ve always had a good time here and enjoyed both the food, drinks and cookies (highly recommend all the pastries).

Hot chocolate, green matcha latte, and waffles were amazing. The service was superb and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommended by Numm!

Fell in love with this Dirty Chai. Spiced perfectly. 💞 Even better: Chai is a homemade powder. Oat/Almond/Coconut alternatives are for Free. Sat down at their tables outside. It's beautiful. Cozy atmosphere. And Service was great. Felt welcome (shoutout to the nice young man). Recommend this place. You should see their cookie options. 🍪 Too bad I was still full from breakfast.

Loved the coffee (one of the best I tasted), and the place, really calm and charming. The waffle was also really good with the Korean note on it, it ended up being a great mix of taste !

Tried cup 28 for our #SundayBrunch spots and they did not disappoint. Top tier fluffy pancakes! Though, am not sure if the pear and kiwi combo works well with pancakes🤔. The staff were really friendly and the service was great. You will be glad to know that the cafe is also #poochfriendly🐶

This cafe has nice atmosphere in the garden when the weather is nice and friendly staff. My friend recommend me to come here for matcha latte and I did. 1 of the best matcha latter I ever try.

The coffee is awesome. It was a bit warm- should be hot . But the waffle strawberry was awesome ! Outside seating is nice too. Staff is a bit late in picking y your order . Overall … A great experience

The service was very good. Even we stayed 5 minutes in line waiting for a table. They found us a table very fast. The place is a crowed spot. But everyone get a table. Flavor is 4/5 We tried the pancakes at the moment. Very simple but a good portion. The benedit pulled pork. Are very good. The iced matcha latte was not good. It tt tasted like full milk. The rest is ok. Backyard is the best area of the place. Definitely well recommended

Had their famous fluffy pancakes, one with bluberry compote and one with fresh fruits. They both have the same price, but the one with fresh strawberries are smaller? (5 minis still smaller than 3 regular size). Looking at people's review, also looks like we received much less fresh fruits? :( The blueberry compote was very sweet. Fresh fruits with cream was fresh. Ambiance was okay, the place was a bit cold even at a full house. The staff was very friendly :)

Been wanting to try this coffee shop for a while now. My god the place was packed! But I can clearly understand why. Unfortunately I did not have time on my hands, so I opted for an iced latte with just a little bit of vanilla. I absolutely loved their coffee and they prepared it really well. Will definitely be coming back for a brunch maybe!

Salty pancake, Nice fluffy pancakes go with bacon (they gave plenty of bacon) + sweet roasted nuts (can't remember which kind of nuts) and syrup (not too sweet). Coffee is OK. 3 of us order 5 drinks and 3 plates. I didn't see any bagels dish. Staffs are nice and pleasant.

This was a really nice place! The food was delicious and affordable compared to many other cafes in Brussels. I had Benedict eggs with bacon toast with a matcha cookie and a matcha latte and my friend had salty pancakes with a chai latte.

Great brunch food and coffee. Both the bbq pulled pork toast and salty pancakes were delicious. The cappuccino was very well made too.

Really good coffee and cookie. Kafei owns the place, so it does make sense. The barista is really good, but he should smile more and be more welcoming. But he knows how to make a coffee. The place itself should be renovated. It looks really old and dirty.

One of the best places for coffee in Brussels. I come here often and the flat whites are consistently excellent. Really lovely service, though weekends (especially Sundays) are very busy and the staff is small, so be prepared to wait. However, when the coffee is this good (see my photo), it’s always worth the wait!

The place looks really nice, the terrace is lovely. However it loses stars in my opinion because the food was overpriced. Pancakes were nice but I think they could add more whipped cream and syrope so you don't have to eat them dry at the end. The bread of the toast was too toasted and it felt from the day before. 30€ for that (plus drinks) felt like too much to the price I'm used to. The staff was nice :)

The coffee served at Cup 28 is pretty good, but today I tried their iced matcha latte and it was made with 98% milk and a splash of matcha, having no flavor of matcha itself. I was very disappointed and I strongly recommend to review how much matcha is actually mixed with the amount of milk that is poured into the cup, there was not even the slightest taste of matcha given how little it was in the drink…

Great food and awesome service! Finally a waitress who speaks proper English which was a nice surprise for Brussels. Plus the garden is really quaint and the food came quickly, making it perfect for a lunch break.

We loved this coffee spot. The coffee was great, the backyard was fantastic! everyone loved our dog alice b and we all ordered food and drinks we thought the prices were really reasonable and the backyard was beautiful and the staff were excellent

I wanted to be amazed by this place as some local guides spoke highly of it but to be honest, it wasn’t great. The service was super slow. We waited over 30 minutes to be served. Not even the coffees came early. I ordered the waffles with bananas and nuts and was hoping it would come warm and flat on a plate but it came as a cone which was confusing to eat as a breakfast dish. Coffee was good. But I ended up not having the waffles. Wish they could have a photo of the way waffles are presented so customers can have an idea of what to expect. Service was overall poor, we had to ask for cutlery and napkins. Nah, not worth the fuss at all. The bacon and eggs were nice according to my friend. Should have just had some pastries. Check the waffles before you order!!!

Great place, especially during the sunny day! The terrace is wonderful. The bagels are must try, as well as coffee. There some great desserts, bubble waffle looks amazing. The staff is very nice and polite, the service is sometimes slow during high peaks. They also speak English and you can pay with card.

Friendly staff, lovely locales and a very good menu. Had a well-made cold brew and a delightful bubble waffle on a hot day. A true hidden gem as the place was a bit hard to spot from the street but the inside is fresh and bright with a cozy, vineovergrown café yard out back. Warmy recommended!

Great breakfast menu. Bagel was delicious. Barista was friendly and recommended few items. Coffee was good, well balanced and sweet. Cozy place. Thank you for nice experience. Definitely will come again and will recommend to my friends.

Typical Euro trash coffee shop. Here's why: Observation: 24 patrons fully seated. 7 employees. Typical restaurant is 5.5 patrons to every one employee. This restaurant, weighs in at little more than half of the metrics necessary, thus, in reporting would qualify for a grade of F. Which provides one of two options. Number one, the staff is too slow and inadequate. Or two, they allow patrons to just sit and hang out, thus costing the owner vast sums of additional revenue. Went in three different dates, only ate once. Could be a great shop. Chooses to ignore standard restaurant metrics, costing them probably 40% in additional revenue per year. This is coming from an American businessman who owns many businesses. They should be ashamed of the service. They should be ashamed of the slow pace of the employees. And they should be ashamed of the laziness of many patrons. No one in a setting of 24 seats should be allowed to sit on a computer for multiple hours. Nor should it take multiple hours for employees to be able to fully service the patrons. Abysmal service. Abysmal results. Abysmal Euro trash coffee shop.

Went there with gf and friends. Place is nice. But the service is the worst ever experience. Waiters and guy with tattoos behind the counter are beyond rudeness. Not worth spending our money there. We will not be back.

Food not that good and overpriced. And the first time I went to this place the cup of the coffee was dirty (it is even worse as it was during covid time). Only positive point is that the coffee is good.

The food is good and coffee is consistent but you really need to hire more people, especially now that indoor and outdoor areas are open! The woman working the lunch shift was doing her best but one person working both areas is a headache.

Great coffeeshop that was long missing in Chatelain area. Beans from Wide awake, delicious pastry, and they also serve brunch (never tried, but looks good). Super friendly staff - they will let you taste the batch brew before you buy. It can get crowded, but worth waiting a bit.

I just discovered this place and I really like it. It's one of the first places I've seen that doesn't charge extra for veggie milk. Good avo toast with salmon, good quantity and quality, and OK price. The service was fast and friendly. The selection of cookies and cakes look amazing, but there aren't many gluten-free or dairy-free options.

Cup28 has a very good terrace ;) Its iced latte tastes very nice, and it can cool down you on a hot day⭐

Beautiful terrace, deteriorating service. This place has been a nice meet up spot in Chatelain for the past several years, unfortunately the service has gone downhill significantly. The past two times I’ve been here it has taken super long to be served pretty simple orders. On a weekday with my colleagues we came to have 3 bagels, it took 1.5 hours, way longer than we would ever take for lunch, especially given we were just ordering sandwiches. Second time, ordered coffee and one of their waffles with my wife. The waffles are delicious but not worth the 45 minute wait. Staff is a bit “out to lunch” (or ‘à l’ouest’ en francais) and despite the nice atmosphere and decent food, I likely won’t return.

My chai latte was good, but I was disappointed by the food. My bagel was really not qualitative, the bread as well as the cheese were very disappointing (over 10€ for the bagel though). For this price, I would expect better products.

Such a lovely gem that serves a refreshing and light cold brew. I also had the Korean bagel, which was tasty and sweet!
