The fact that it’s frequented by Portuguese people already says a lot about the quality of these Pasteis de Nata. One of the best ones I had out of Portugal and better than many I had in Portugal itself. The staff is great, helpful and kind. The space is cozy. You pay different prices if you eat in or take out. For the classic Pastel de Nata for example it was 2,4€/2€. The coffee is also delicious. If you feel adventurous try out the Speculoos flavoured Pastel de Nata, a tasty mix between Portugal and Brussels.

Aren’t weekend afternoons perfect to walk aimlessly around your neighborhood and bump into patisseries like this? That’s how I found this place. Must try their delicious homemade Pastel de nata and coffee. We tried some pasties with citron, caramel & almonds, and dark chocolate. If anything, I’ll be back for more of those little cups of sunshine!

Great little place selling fantastic pasteis de natas. Happy I stopped by and enjoyed a little cake during my sunny Sunday walk. I could eat a scary amount of those cakes.

We tried the pistachio-raspberry, natural, speculous and chocolate flavored pasteis de nata. Each one is just the perfect amount of cream, crunch and flavor. Not overly sweet, the perfect balance. We also had a cappuccino and a cafe allonge, very delicious. Absolutely recommend. They have high chairs, which makes it a great family-friendly place. Not a big difference in price between the price to eat-in or take out.

Best nata in Belgium. If you do not have space to eat, just go for take away, you will not regret.

Amazing! Nothing less than amazing! Wonderful desserts, nice cappuccino…what else could you ask for? On top of that, I could do some work because there were comfy sofas and power sockets everywhere. Friendly staff that spoke excellent English. The bill was kinda reasonable for what I got! I recommend this place and will definitely come back ❤️

Very delicious pasteis de nata! I can never have enough, especially the Tentugal and Azevias, but unfortunately they are very expensive. I recommend this place and to have a walk in the neighbourhood.

If you’re seeking the best portugese egg tart, look no further! These custard tarts are nothing short of a taste sensation. The flaky, buttery crust perfectly complements the rich, creamy, not to sweet custard filling. Each bite is a great blend of sweetneess! Their pistachio egg tart is amazing. Absolute divine! A little pricey, but worth it! Cheaper price when you grab and go (or sit in front of the store). Must add to your itinerary when visit Brussels.

Aww amazing “pasteis de nata”. I love this desserts. And I am in love with all the possible kinds of it you can find in this place. Really tasty, really sweet. I would buy all of them :) as the personal is so lovely so I would not want to go home.

Best pastel de nata I've had in my life after Lisbon. Even if you are not into trying different varieties of classic pastries you should try their specials

Great verity of choice of pasteis de nata, all kind you can imagine! Try almond one:) Also small choice of Portugal specialty- sardines, port wine, coffee, jams

Pastel de Nata at its best. Lemon flavored ones are wild! A must try.

Amazing taste and super friendly and attentive staffs. I think I will make a detour only to buy their pastry if I am in the Brussels area again.

Fabulous little place. A beautiful interior cafe and the most delicious pastel de nata, including the classic and a variety of creations by the Portuguese owner. My personal favourite is the ginger, which is subtly warm and not overpowering.

Unbelievable I've tried so many pastels de natas as I lived in Portugal for a year and these are by far the best I ever had. Me and my Portuguese boyfriend bought some ate them and went back right away to get more

I am compelled to add my review to the many other 5-star reviews of both the produce and the cafe. Cosy, well run and just perfectly delicious pastel de Natans'. Forcado is a goodmine and has been a hit since opening for the simple reason that it doesn't disappoint. Try one of the more unusual flavours - if you like Ginger you mustn't miss their Ginger Nata.

Not bad but unfortunately overrated. Might have just visited too late in the day but the place left a somewhat underwhelming impression on us.. pasties were hard, chewy, far from fresh what concerns the dough (custard itself, though delicious, unremarkable and I am speaking as someone who had never even visited Portugal!). Coffee is excellent on the other hand, a solid 4.5/5. Interior-wise a pleasantly decorated little cafe. Take note: it tends to get crowded and customers are pressured to leave as soon as they finish due to this. Do not expect to spend much time here.

I went there with my partner and we had a great time. It is rather quiet and the staff is super friendly. The pastries was very tasty, as well as the homemade hot chocolate. Would definitely go there again.

Wrong order taken, so we waited for ages for a café latté. Finally served a black coffee with coffee cream. Had to complain, surely no-one serves café latté like that any more? The owner came over and asked the problem, his answer was , that is how he drives the coffee, if I want warm milk, just ask. Wha????.

Superb products and real nice people! The hardest thing to do is choose! There is also some classic feature that are always there and some seasonal recipe that were always nice! Real choice for gluten and /or lactose free people as those information can be found directly in the card for each type!

  • 5/5 CC L. 3 years ago on Google
A variety of Portuguese tarts to include chocolate, lemon and ginger flavored. My favorite is still the classic!

Nice place, but they serve food directly with their hands (no gloves, no utensil) which is not ideal during the pandemic. Hopefully this will change as the staff refused to do so when we asked them.
