Best experience with waffle and ice cream. If you are in Brussels central then you must try one of their combos with waffle, ice cream and toppings. We tried waffle with vanilla and caramel topping and it was yum. Top of the world experience I would say.

Great ice cream, terrible stuff. We got the ice cream and got kicked out without any explanation. Nobody from the stuff was able to explain what was the problem, There is no information about different prices for take away. Would recommend the ice cream, not the terrible place.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I bought some ice creams with the intent to take them outside; however my family’s plans changed since we have three little ones. The manager mentioned that I could not sit down because I had originally bought to go. I offered to buy a chocolate cake and drinks, so that my family could sit down; there were open tables anyways. The reason we had to leave was because we had carton/paper cups for our ice creams instead of glass. I mentioned that with children it was dangerous to have glass cups. We were rudely told to leave even after I offered to buy a cake and drinks. No common sense, poor tact, and terrible representation of how humanity should act—especially on Easter weekend. If you want an ice cream, take a few more steps and go to other shops.

Service not great and over priced. Waitress saw us when we arrived and 20 minutes passed. I had to wave to get her attention so we could order. Food was ok but pricey. Don't spend your time for poor service.

Not very clean and not friendly, they are not warning you about rules of sitting and after can just ask to go out because what? Because you paid not enough for this already overpriced full of sugar ice cream.

Nice food of good quality. BUT paying 50 cents for the toilet when you are just have been eating your 10 euro ice cream with a 10 euro hot chocolate is just not ok, and not even legal. I have been explaining it to the toilet lady and after when i payed my bill to a waitress, both have been referring to the manager.

Swiss prices in Belgium. Quite busy, but if you fancy an aristocratic experience having some ice-cream, this is the place you are looking for! Someday all ice cream will be made like this anyway- so you better up the ante! Jokes aside, the ice-cream was good. Very interesting menu. If the owners are reading this, I'd request them to use some of there riches to take care of their employees. It was sad to see them overworked, and the server was shivering in cold while taking the orders.

We had a wonderful time in this Häagen-Dazs. The glaces were delicious and last but not least the service specially Myriam and her smile 😊

The location is absolutely amazing and taste of Hagen Dazs ice cream is beyond judgement. The only drawback was the service was really slow and only a few servers compared to the huge customer waiting. The price was also pretty high. But if you want to enjoy classic ice cream desserts in a fabulous location, then it is a place to be.

What an absolute disaster of an establishment. The attitude of the staff was diabolic. The hygiene was horrific (flipping crepes with bare fingers after casually wiping one's forehead sweat line. The state of the tables we ate from were beyond filthy. They bring your food out and make ypu pay before you've lifted your cutlery. That picture posted is the exotic smoothie. Conpare the picture in the menu to the real thing! €12 that cost!! When i told them about it, the worker (young lady) just said "ok" and proceeded to stare at me expecting me to just walk off.

Delicious hot chocolate and coffee, but crepe was smelling like eggs.

I waited for nearly half an hour before the waitress came over. There was a stain on our table from a previous customer, she did not clean the table. She got the order wrong, apologized, and it took another ten minutes before she came back with the order. Some of the ingredients needed to make my order were not present. She did not tell me this. They simply made my order without all the ingredients. Would not recommend. Although they have a great reputation, the service is downright deplorable.

As an American, I can say that this really should not be so fantastic since Haagen-Dazs was an American company. No way USA c-h-o-c-o-l-a-t-e should be anywhere near as divinely wonderful as Belgian chocolate. But it is here. Twice now, I have ordered the Belgian chocolate ice cream with whipped cream and hot fudge. The picture I took is what you get. This has been my most intense chocolate pleasure in Brussels, tied with the drinking chocolate I found at Wittamer Chocolatier on Place du Grand Sablon.

The ice cream was good, however, service was appalling. You walk into the store with no indication of what to do for ordering, do you sit down? Table service? Order at the counter? Every other custom would walk in confused. It then took 15 minutes for our order to be taken (albeit the order arrived quickly) and then it has so far taken 20 minutes (I am still sat here) waiting for someone to realise I’m ready to pay, with empty glasses and ice cream bowl on the table which staff have noticed multiple times while walking past. Staff are too busy flirting with each other, checking their phones and sorting out their hair.

This is the worse Häagen-Dazs ever. The service is awful. Very unfriendly! We were served by a trainee who was completely lost and didn't get any support by his co-workers (not his fault, he was friendly) The 'manager' didn't manage a thing and the waitresses clearly didn't feel like working. We ordered a milkshake made by the 'manager' that tasted and had the structure of cold milk. Born and raised in Brussels I hate to see that touristic places like this offer such bad and unfriendly service.

Nice place, they have delicious brownies and ice cream

The staff were nice to me and let me try the ice cream I wanted. The main complaint I have is that their choices were super limited. They only had one flavor that was even remotely chocolate and it had espresso; not exactly what I want late at night before a big day.

Excellent ice cream and great service I have been to quite a few ice cream shops in my life but this one is something to remember. I have been served on the spot and by a really nice gentleman. The ice cream I chose (chocolate-hazelnut) was really extraordinary. The wonderful flavour of the chocolate broken down by bits of hazelnuts was really something I enjoyed. I would certainly advise to go and I will myself, coming again soon.

Desert lovers must visit this place once. Awesome food a very good service and very near to grand place. Not that bad foods around the grand place.

A lovely place to stop for an ice cream. We popped in for one and ate outside, watching the world go by. The ice cream was delicious and the man that served us was very friendly and welcoming. There were lots of different flavours to choose from, from the standard flavours to the more unique ones. If we had more time, it would have been nice to sit inside and see what else was offered on the menu. We would definitely return if we were to visit Brussels again.

One star for the ice cream, it was Haagen Dazs after all but everything else was garbage. I wanted to order and get my ice cream to eat by their terrace, but was told to wait for table service. Waited 10 minutes for someone to come take our order (it was just 2 scoops of ice cream) and had to wait another 10 minutes for them to bring us the ice cream. By then the ice cream had already melted into a watery puddle. They also charge you extra for table service, and we ended up paying €2 extra from the published price. My advice is to go elsewhere if you want ice cream, regardless of how good Haagen Dazs is.

Not the best service but still good ice-cream combinations

It's Okey. When I went they didn't have all the icecreams. There a menu made by a waffle and two balls of icecream with cream. I just wanted one ball of icecream because the flavours that I like they didnt have them. The girl told me that I have to pick to balls, or just one but they would not make the menu cheaper. The waffles and the icecreams were good but I tried better ones.

Excellent ice cream as is to be expected with Häagen Dazs. Nice presentation on the meals. The coffee was excellent and came with an additional chocolate. When asked about their vegan ice creams they were not available that day but have no doubt that they would be delicious. The view is good too and service was quick and easy. The chocolate lava cake could have been slightly hotter and the food is quite expensive, but for its location and taste is an excellent ice cream shop.

The ice creams were great; however, staff is not very proactive. They charge you extra for eating in.

I can not believe that one of the employees sneeze on orders for people and simply served them. Super unsanitary place. They do not use any kind of gloves or cover for their mouth. They did not even turn their head around or cover their mouth when they sneeze. Never visit this place again.

Ice cream is probably good, but the service is terrible. None of three waitresses bothers to go to the upper floor and when you finally try to order yourself at the counter, it is refused because you have to order at the table! Wasted half an hour and left with nothing. Not coming back

Came here with family and were waiting for the waiter for 40 minutes! And even after he came he took only half of our order and go to another table! We were trying to call him back but he ignored us! In the end we get the wrong order but nobody seems care :( Pancakes were bland and it takes 20 minutes to make them even though it was only 3 customer and 4 waiters and all of them were just talking to each other and didn't want to work! 06.01.2023

During my visit on 14 Nov at about 9.30pm, despite signaling my readiness to order multiple times, the waitress continued drying utensils, acknowledging but not acting upon my request. This lack of prompt attention affected the overall service experience negatively. Improvement in responsiveness to customer needs is needed.

Great experience at Häagen-Dazs today. We were served by the lovely Brianna. The pistachio ice-cream on top of the Liège waffle was delicious!
