It was a really nice experience to have a breakfast in this cozy cafe. Staff were very helpful and smiling. We ordered Spiegelei met spek en brood and American pancakes ei en spek. All the ingredients were fresh and really tasty. I really liked the way they fried the bacons. It was really crispy yet it didn’t lose all the fat in it. Egg was also cooked really nice. It had a soft boiled egg consistency which I liked so much. On top of the taste, the plates were also pleasant for me to watch.

We had the chocolate caramel cake, which was good, and the apple cinnamon slice which was a bit disappointing... It was quite dry and I was expecting more apples :( The ginger tea was also a miss. It was hot flavored water, it would've been better if it came with a bag to give it more flavor.

A reminder for me to never order baos unless I am at an authentic spot that does baos well - because the bao at Madmum was really disappointing and a tad uninspired. The matcha latte was a 3/10 also.

The place is relaxed with very cosy seats for single or small and larger groups of visiors. The place roasts coffee beans so the smell pulls you inside immediately. From the menu you may choose perfect non-milk and milk coffees, but also teas and infusions. Lovely cakes, yes. And small lunches if you wish. The only thing did not work for me was whimsical WiFi which requested me to check-in on Facebook and then stopped working. A more traditional user/password thing would work so much better, I guess. I could have stayed they for hours, but they close at 5:30 pm.
