We were the only customers at the bar and the waitress was kind of rude, they looked like they don’t want us there. My aunt ask him for something in the menu cause she didn’t has her glasses and he answer her saying: “there’s the menu you can see it”. They took a long time to take our orden aswell. Really bad attention

The worst service in Brussels. The staff is extremely rude and disrespectful. With hundreds of restaurants in Brussels, it's curious that this business is still running. The food is not exceptional and you will certainly be treated in the worst possible manner. Why will you choose this place? Keep away from here and enjoy your dinner or lunch in a restaurant that you receive a minimum respect. Terrible experience. I will never put my feet here.

The worst restaurant in Brussels. Never had such a bad attitude and services. We arrived to the location after looking at the menu and wonting to have a salmon with mashed potato like in the picture in the menu and they didn't have it, after that we were waiting for half an hour and no one came to service our table of 5 because the waiter don't speaks English. We got up and left hungry and had to look for another restaurant.

Extremely nice place for dining and drinking In the heart of Bruxelles!!The food is delicious, the atmosphere is very cozy, the beer was wow!!I’ve tried a local dish, the Stoemp (sausage with mash potatoes) and drunk a local Belgium beer in the Chevalier, a big size glass of the venue. It was very funny to drink it, look at the pic. I extremely recommend this place if u want to stay with locals and have a taste of Belgium night life!

Very nice restaurant/pub. Staff was helpful and gave as good recommendation. We've been during lunch rush, and was positively impressed speed of service and food delivery. Food was good but I will call - ordinary. Duck not Soo bad, skin was crispy meat well cooked, maybe to too grave souse. Grilled calamari tasty but a bit too much in cake/breadcrumbs. Omlet was puffy but for sure was prepared on tons of fat. Any way we fill good after lunch, enjoyed service and beer. Good for or evening friends meeting.

This could be such a lovely place, it is mind boggling that they haven’t addressed the issues with their staff. The decor is lovely: wooden and somewhat rustic; the food is honest, copious and tasty; the price affordable for the location. But my god, that waiter! That man has issues and is not fit for customer-facing service. Condescending, rude, curt, unpleasant and downright hostile. If he’s on shift don’t bother coming in, you’ll spend your evening feeling like you’re personally bothering him.

Stopped for a beer and end up well surprised about the food service and history. Asked to buy a suvenir from the bar that was not available anymore and they gave me the one that was on exhibition.

A pleasant place for a drink and a bite to eat. The house beer was served in a wonderful glass! The beef stew was very tasty, and the stoemp was also nicely-served, though the frites were not quite of the standard to which we had become accustomed in Belgium!

Had fun dancing on the table after 2230.. its rocking on the DJ with most of 90s-20s music. But I had only problem with running 1 complete song and not mixing it up.. rest was amazing !!

Be careful, this is the typical TOURIST TRAP. Exxagerated prices, minimalist service until you are a full table of pigeons, sorry, tourists. Be aware that native Brussels people avoid this so-called typical place.

Food was excellent and the service was very fast and friendly. I got my food within 5 minutes of ordering and it was elegantly prepared. Belgian customary dishes and beers available as well as a lively and unique atmosphere.

A pretty cool place in Brussels with a wide variety of beers and reasonably priced food. I also really enjoyed drinking from their Chevalier glasses, a whole experience by itself. The food was decent. However, the service was extremely disappointing. Our waiter was very condescending, unwelcoming, and sassy in an unprofessional way. He was constantly irritated when I tried asked questions about the menu concerning information that wasn’t included. “It’s OBVIOUS that the tartare comes with fries and salad” even though it’s not written on the menu, how stupid of me, sorry for bothering. All in all, I really enjoyed this place except for the service. Would I return? Maybe, but not if the same waiter is serving us.

We came here for a couple of drinks, and found it to be a really friendly bar and with very reasonable prices. The bar service was a little slow, but that wasn't an issue for us, and we really enjoyed the visit. Would recommend coming here.

Went here for lunch time. Really great food. Generous portions! Beer serviced in a fun style. Staff is limited but works very hard.

Nice traditional pub in the shopping area. Plenty of beer and all are reasonably priced. It is one of few that advertises beer like Stella and sells it. The pub is relaxed and interesting to look inside with its posters and decorations. The staff was very nice and friendly. Recommended. We didn't have food.

Not the friendliest of bars. The barman clearly treated us differently to other customers and I can only assume this was because if his preconceptions about British guests. Came across as hostile until we left.

Nice place for a beer, looks very traditional. The food is not the best to enjoy a good dinner, could be enough for lunch

I went late and didn't eat there . Hard to get a drink when it's jammed packed in there but what a great atmosphere! Everyone dancing in tables and singing. Fantastic!

De Raaf - Le Corbeau (The Raven, in English) is a typical old-style 'Brasserie', unpretentious, cosy and authentic, tucked away in a street not far from Nieuwstraat/rue Neuve. The food is typically Brabantian: think grandma's kitchen - tasty food, sizeable servings, no frills. You can also just have a Belgian beer and enjoy the setting. Service is friendly. Certainly my favourite brasserie in Brussels. A must for any tourist who wants to add authentic Brussels flavour to their stay.

Very good place with caring personell and very good food and drinks. Also with live music. If you visit Brussels it's a must if you like a bit of nightlife

The only good thing here is the chevalier beers. Staff rude and unfriendly

The food and beer was not the best, and they only had the menu in french. The fries were a bit burned, with the typical aspect of a cheap place, and the beer was like water with a bit of taste to alcohol.

If you're a tourist looking for a typical historical Brussels pub-tavern, this is it. A beautiful, well preserved established pub offering a huge choice of Belgian speciality beers. Also worth mentioning is the lunch menu serving a local classic: 'stoemp', which is a sausage, egg and mashed potatoes for e very reasonable price (€ 12). Be aware some beers can be on the pricey side. If the choice of beers is overwhelming, I recommend Westmalle Triple (see photo) which is one of my favorite Belgian beers. (€ 4,50).

The atmosphere is awesome at night, with sometimes live music. The prices are a bit on the higher side; for example a shot is 4.50€, and they're not even filled that much. But if you're not low on cash, this is the perfect bar to have a great evening!

I first came here over 20 years ago and it's as cool now as it was then. At midnight all he'll breaks loose get ready to dance on the tables! Great selection of beers too!

Nice bar with interesting interior and outdoor terrace. It was very popular when we visited on a Monday lunch. They do a menu of the day which is good value as well as a good beer menu. Issue for us was painfully slow service. To be fair, they had one staff member for 15-20 tables so he was fighting a losing battle.

Good food for reasonable prices. Had the stomp for €10. Serving a limited menu between 3pm and 6pm.

the food is not so bad, but the loud music is very annoying, It's loud enough so you can't talk however it's not good enough to appreciate the show.
