We liked this place when the staff was local. Last time we visited, the staff was from Pakistan or India. The result was random unwashed dirty glasses with lipstick on them. They served my tea also in a dirty glass and when I asked for a new one, the woman washed a glass by hand in front of me and did not bother herself to apologize. They put sugar aside my tea (as they do in their country but sorry in Belgium it is different) and when I asked for a biscuit or a chocolate as it is the case normally, of course they did not have it. And the end, the woman brought a new tea and she threw the tea-bag to me. For sure they do not love what they are doing. There is no hygiene in this place. We will not go back again. New review: I visited this place a few months after, hoping something had changed. Nothing changed and the situation is even worse than before. Please check the pictures of the toilets. There is no soap nor toilet paper. I asked them at least to give me hydro-alcoholic gel but no, they have nothing and they are not sorry about that. I wonder how they clean their hands... I wanted to give it a 4 star review but I couldn’t. It’s an old quaint hidden pub. It also has a small patio. I get the sense that only tourists come here, but it does not seem like a tourist trap, it has a bit more soul than the Delirium “bars”. We really enjoyed here.. reputed as the 2nd oldest bar in Brussels, the beer is amazing and there is craic to be had.

The beer was fine and the bar was nice. But the person working there was scrolling on her Phone all the time and was not avalible for her costumers. She was sittning on different spots in the bar, was never behind the bar, besides when she was getting us something to drink och payment. When we were gonna pay she was on her Phone, private call.
