👍👍 Marvelous Japanese whisky selection and the Cobra Sour was a surprise. Owner can act a bit grumpy but a friend of mine said it's not to be taken to heart so all is well. People often mention great, Brussels, cocktails, whiskey, selection, whisky, Cobra,

My new favourite bar in Bruxelles! C'est vraiment sympa ici. Byron est super accueillent et le menu c'est top! We can recommend the Whiskey sour and Negroni and we'll be back for the Japanese whiskey for sure!

Best cocktail/whisk(e)y bar of Brussels. Totally worth the wait, seeing he's on his own and makes high quality drinks. Lovely bartender with awesome style!!

In the Cobra Art Gallery bar, the tattooed arm of bartender Byron shakes cocktails into new avant-garde works of art. The bar takes its name from the famous COBRA movement, a group of artists after World War II who, through intuitive experimentation, came up with childlike drawings as a symbol of rising again from time. In the Cobra bar we too are born again as children, between consciousness and unconsciousness, on the verge of times. Bartender Byron, the storyteller without a loud voice in a cosy café where everyone is talking, always keeps his head cool whatever storm rages outside. He expresses himself in meticulously prepared drinks, the door he invariably leaves open, the concerned look when you are not doing well. The wordless poet Byron in Cobra café makes poetry with his whiskey selection. He identifies with flavours and will even set aside a specially purchased bottle for you if you ask for it. COBRA an art movement that explores the child in them. In the heart of Brussels centre beats a new heart that bears the same name COBRA and makes us childishly happy.

Came from Houston, Texas with 3 friends and I loved everything about the bar. The bartender was super great, and I got to know the background of the bar. Honestly it was a great place to talk and chill. Check it out and maybe you might even get a drink on the house. Definitely worth it!

Super cosy and a great place to get together and have a good conversation with friends. The cute owner has a great know-how on whiskey, you can always ask for info on the great selection of whiskey or a cocktail-recommendation, he'll gladly help! The cocktails are yummy and are of great compared to other bars in the neighborhood. (I recommend the Cobra Sour and Lemon Drop!) Also, love the music and that's it's not to loud so you still can easily talk without having to shout over it.

Great selection of whiskey (though no Bushmills in the Irish section) and cocktails. The mezzanine area is super.

Very cosy bar, with chill background music where you can drink a beer or any of their amazing cocktails. Cool interior and there is an upstairs area too. All cocktails are prepared with care and very delishious! Excellent service!

Went there and tried for the first time their whisky sour. Never found a better whisky sour then at the cobra bar. All their cocktails are good too, and the price is more than correct. It's not cheaply made like other bars in the area. Good location, atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the barman and waitress are very friendly !

A lovely cozy place in the center of Brussels and the staff will welcome you with open arms. Wether you are a true Whisky enthousiast or a curious newbie the menu boasts a wide selection of whiskys from all around the world (but mostly is specialized in Japanese Whisky) that will please every kind of pallet. An added bonus is that the bars offers a different curated whisky from the menu for 5 euro every month! Also did I tell you that the owner (Byron) also makes fantastic cocktails?! In short definitely recommend this place!!

I ran into this bar by accident and never could leave. The dusky hip hop and smoky vibe tinged with expressive art work soothed me. Becalmed my soul. So many whiskeys I discovered and never forgot. A necessary visit if in Brussels for a short stay and a permanent place to hang if living here.

The bartender girls are the most beautiful beings I have ever seen in my entire life! Had a lot of fun talking to them as well :) and the cocktails were mesmerising. Best night in Brussels, 10/10!
