    Ridiculous prices for below average quality food. We order the Croque Monsieur but got a cold and blackened toasty that was just old bread with slices of cheap cheese and ham. It tasted ok if it were a €2,00 toasty, but it actually cost €8,00. Also the atmosphere was weird. For a “Herberg” one would expect a cozy place, but this looks more like a well lit elderly home. I would avoid this place if you can.

    The place is very nice. The terrace is on street side so could be anoying for those who care, for me not a problem. The food is quite good, bolognese and stoofvlees very good. The price is reasonable.

    Been going to this place for a few years and never disappointed. The changing suggestions are greatly put together by the chef, as it was today! Great food, good prices in Grimbergen. Keep up the good work! (added a picture of deer game stoofvlees from few months ago)

    Nice and cosy place but in spite of the name of the place and the fact it is almost next to the Abbey of Grimbergen they don't serve Grimbergen beer here but beers related to the Palm brewery.

👍👍 The place is small but atmosphere is amazing located in an old water mill. Typical Belgium food of great quality and fresh ingredients (spoiler: you can get croquettes as side of your main plate 😍) Service was great.
