Fantastic Lebanese food in the heart of Brussels city centre. Lexpress offer delicious food at very reasonable prices and that’s why you’ll always find them busy - especially in the evening. I really enjoyed my mixed shawarma and the portion size was more than enough for a big eater. Highly recommend!

Very delicious food - the garlic sauce is amazing.I ordered a chicken plate - meat well marrinated and salads were fresh. The fruit shakes are nice! The shakes are also good. Last time I went there the salad was not fresh but the pickles were good.

I came here for the first time in 2019. Loved the food and their customer service. When I visited Brussels again today, I went there for lunch and once again I was extremely pleased with their food and service. Super friendly staff and delicious food! My trip to Brussels is only complete when I eat at this place.

Got the chicken and beef shawarma, fattouch, baba ganoush, hommus and falafel. The shawarmas were definitely up there as one of the best we’ve had. Flavours and texture were spot on, the taste if the baba ganoush and hommus were also spot on. Fattouch was well balanced and flavourful. Was quite heavy on the cash only payments so withdraw some money before you go.

My favourite Lebanese restaurant in the world… Make sure to order the chicken shawarma, halloumi, falafel, fattouch, and just about everything else on the menu! Also they have the best garlic sauce you’ll ever taste, and amazing smoothies and mint tea as well. Hatem and Alex over there are the best!

Great location right next to the main square and plenty of places to sit (has three levels), nice menu. We had the Haloumi cheese starter which was amazing and overall great sauces and juicy shawrma.

Very tastyyyy, the meat is fresh, the portions are huge. Prepared with love. Only one minus, this is the organization, need to wait a very long time just to order one shawarma take away

This place is blessed. Try the quality food and witness the numerous happy customers, whom I learned are repeatedly coming and regular customers. I tried their Chicken Shawarma with garlic and halloumi cheese with garlic. Both were superior and hard to find alike at other competitors. I loved who hard and dedicated were the team members, doing their level best to please all customers and serve their needs at the quickest time. Thanks to the owner for his particular attention to my order and in fact, preparing it to ensure smooth serving.

Favorite Lebanese restaurant so far! The food is absolutely delicious, we started with some fries, Hommous and Motabbal, super yummy and tasteful! Then with the chicken shawarma, speechless, literally speechless! It’s super authentic, just like that at our Home Lebanon❤️! And then we finished with some halloumi, yumm yumm yummm, 10000% recommended! Super good portions, affordable prices and friendly staff. You HAVE to visit this restaurant, especially if you’re nostalgic!

Delicious food. Service is good inspite of huge crowd. Price is quite reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Halloumi is must try if you are going for the first time.

WOW! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟! This place was recommended to me by a friend. On our first day in Brussels, we decided to check it out. We were starving so we ordered: Mezze platter (fattoush, hummus, eggplant spread, haloumi, falafel), two chicken shwarmas and fries. The service was AMAZING. So kind and friendly and just genuinely want you to enjoy the food! He brought three different sauces for the fries (OMG THE GARLIC SAUCE). Here goes: FATTOUSH 🥗- This is my favorite salad in general, so I’m very picky. This one was SO fresh and absolutely amazing (see photos). Hummus/Eggplant: absolutely delicious. Not much else to say here. I do wish this came with some sort of naan (maybe it does but they forgot?). HALOUMI: IF YOU ORDER NOTHING ELSE GET THE HALOUMI. Perfectly spiced and absolutely ridiculously delicious. ❤️❤️❤️ Falafel: how do they get it so crunchy but soft? How do they perfectly spice it so it actually has flavor? This is by far THE BEST falafel I have had in my life (and I’ve been to the Middle East four times). CHICKEN SHAWARMA: So by this point, I was too full to enjoy my chicken shawarma hot. I took it back to the hotel and kept it in the fridge until the next day. I didn’t have high hopes because they’re usually meant to be eaten fresh, otherwise the naan gets soggy. NOPE - even on day 2 this was stupid delicious!!! ————————— Two days later, we went again. They even remembered us and took great care again!!!! This time we came with friends and ordered 5 chicken shawarmas. The waiter remembered us and brought us falafel to try! Everyone loved it. FRESH CHICKEN SHAWARMA: Okay, so I thought it was good cold on day 2? Fresh it’s EVEN better. The naan is so crunchy yet soft and the flavor throughout the wrap is unbeatable. Every bite was to die for. My only complaint is that I have to travel all the way to Brussels for this delicious food. GUYS PLEASE OPEN A L’EXPRESS IN THE STATES. EVEN IF ITS IN VEGAS, ILL TRAVEL!

Was across the street and noticed people walking by with wraps, knew I had to try it. My bf and I split a chicken chawarma wrap, and asked for something spicy. Oh my goodness, it was a perfect blend of flavors, and textures. Far exceeded my expectations. The mint tea afterwards hit the spot. Definitely recommend 10/10

BEST LEBANESE SHAWARMA YOU CAN EVER TRY! I can't say anymore!! The taste of Lebanon in each dish, the service is excellent and especially the guy named "Hatem" he was so kind and helpful he made me feel so special! Clean, professional, and DELICIOUS! No need a flight to visit lebanon, just visit EXPRESS shawarma and speciale Mezze (Lebanese starters)

It is one of the best kebabs in the world. We live in the Netherlands, but literally always try to make a stop and eat there every time we pass Belgium. Even though it's gonna take a whole different route from our original plan, we just HAVE to eat there. It's a worthy place. Will not regret it! SUPER!

Friendly staff, great food especially for the value. So much halloumi to feed two! ( although you don’t want to share this goodness) You can order in or take out. The only star missing is for atmosphere is the fact it’s so busy and it’s not fancy - but it’s worth the wait!

The food was nice and the staff were quick to serve. It was really busy when we came in to eat and remained busy when we left. The price of the food were reasonable. We ordered a meat platter however there wasn't that much meat on the plate so I personally wouldn't recommend ordering that. However the wraps were really tasty and the portions are quite big.

L'Express is by far my favorite Shoarma snack bar in Brussels. The meat is perfectly prepared, not overcooked or dry: they first cut it to order from the grill, then wrap it and then give it a second push under a flat grill toaster. This is by far a better Shoarma snack bar than what you normally expect to get. It's Shoarma done the better way. Personally I prefer the beef to the chicken and of course you order it with garlic sauce and lots of veggies.

We came here, after reading the Google reviews, that this is one of the most authentic Lebanese restaurants in the heart of Brussels, Belgium. Even though the location was expected more likely to be a restaurant style - not the type of fast food atmosphere, that it is - we still liked it a lot. We've been served with patience and in a very kind manner. There's Lotz of vegetarian options available, so we decided to get all the Mezze as starters for all of us - and for the rest of the family, two chicken shawarma, which they said, they have been THE BEST they've ever ate! ⭐️👌🏽 The food was really delicious, it came very quickly and afterwards, we have been served fresh peppermint tea, for free: 🍃🍵. The only unfortunate part about our visit was, the situation of the restrooms 🚻. They would need to be looked after, more thoroughly. The rest definitely deserves five stars: ⭐️👌🏽 Please keep it up: ☺️.

Absolutely delicious food and great value! We tried the chicken chawarma and the falafel platter and both were huge and tasty. What surpassed even the food was the service - just impeccable. Our server guy was a champion, regardless of all of the tables he was looking after. Really nice surprise in Brussels - would definitely return!

As a vegetarian iwas pleasantly surprised by the most delicious sandwich I have ever eaten. It was the perfect combination of crispy and juicy, and the finish only left me wanting more. The waiter was nice and courteous too! Will definitely visit again.

Nice atmosphere BUT slow service and totally average food quality for me as a Palestinian. Quite decent proportions for the price tho. Their hummus stands out and I do recommend it even if it's a bit expensive.

  • 5/5 Sushmita B. 9 months ago on Google
Based on its location (right next to the touristy hotspot), you'd think that you'll get overpriced mediocre food. But you're wrong! This place is one of the best places for lebanese food - their hummus is so smooth and creamy that you will end up ordering extra bread! Their falafel is equally tasty. They even do a nice vegan platter! What we liked the most is that they let you share a dish between people, meaning, they won't refuse you their service even if only 2 out of 3 customers make an order. Will go back again! Oh and their fatoush salad is really tasty. Even if the bread gets soggy, it soaks up all the delicious pomegranate dressing. Yum.
