Excellent place in every way! We got different options of dumplings to share, some with pork and ginger, some glazed with pork, one made with egg paste with stuffing of pork and shrimp and one with fluffy delicious buns with pork. Every single one tasted different and was excellent. We also got the duck, it comes with pancakes and vegetables. It is moist on the inside and cripsy on the outside, super! We then topped it off with the dessert that was fluffy warm steamed buns with warm gooey custard. They were adorably shaped like piglets too! I must say the staff was beyond excellent, very helpful, welcoming, took their time to give recommendations and went beyond and above to help us!

Great delicouse and fresh food! Try the Xiao Long Bao’s (soup dumplings) is super fresh and handmade. The 3 meats rice plate are yumi too. Is a very famouse and fancy place to have dinner. The service are very kind and fast.

Cosy place with cool atmosphere. The Peking duck was of really good quality; crispy outside, tender inside, and excellent taste - but also very expensive (30 Euro), certainly considering it's not a standalone dish (no carbs), and wouldn't be sufficient for 1 person. The dumplings were ok, albeit very gentle in taste. The "smashed spicy cucumbers" can be very delicious with an pronounced intricate taste of spiciness, soy sauce and sesame oil, with a freshness of the cucumber itself, but these ones tasted like normal watery cucumbers with a bit of (not so tasty) sauce on top. I would give this place a 4 star, because it's so well decorated, and personnel is friendly too. But the spotty food quality in combination with the very high price (at least 35 euro per person for a small hunger), makes it a 3 star.

Went there at 10pm, nice atmosphere and staff were friendly. Ordered a lot of dishes and the best dish by far is the duck noodles soup!!! The other Saigonese soup was good too esp. if you like coriander and garlics. But duck is still superior. The ‘lao xa bao’ - there were super yummy as well- highly recommended even though the shape might throw some people off Pork ginger dumpling ‘xiao long bao’ is just average - you can skip this. The ‘har cheung’ was unfortunately served cold. The restaurant was apologetic about it and even want to refund the money but I have been so impressed with the duck that I just gave it a pass. I did not manage to try the other items in the menu but will definitely come back for the duck when I got a chance.

Great restaurants for Dim Sum but also for a nice Phô near Bourse and De Brouckere. The founder is a professional mixologist and created a few unique cocktails. The restaurant always has a nice design and a weekly menu. Their Xia Long Bao were good but in my memory were better. I recommend this place and especially if you're in the city center!!!

Those pig shaped custard buns were just so good! Definitely worth a try. We tried soup dumplings, peking duck pancakes, steamed rice rolls and we liked everything we had. The atmosphere indoors is also amazing!

Went on a Friday night without reservation. It is recommended to book though as the place got really full right after. Excellent attention by the staff, kind and very educated. The quality of products was very good, as well as their aspect. Look forward to coming back.

If you decide to have a worse experience ,hier is a good choice. At first, I called them for birthday preparation, and they just said no .I asked at least please play a birthday music and they rudly answered no. They served in plastic dishes that I've never seen before. The food smells old oil . And the quality of vegtebels you can see in the photos. The toilet wasn't cleaned for the years. The door of the kitchen is open to this toilet. The server was taken all the forks and knives and plates after apetiser and puts back 2 instead of 3 .

The food we got her was ok, not the best but also not the worst. Some of the dishes that came out was actually cold like the pork wrapped in rice paper. The egg rolls was also drenched in liquid due to the wet lettuce and pickled veggies. The wrap to the picking duck was also not the correct wrapped used traditionally, instead they used dumpling wrapper. For the service and atmosphere it was ok.

Expensive for what it is - 2 starters, 2 main dishes & 2 cocktails-paid 99€. Food is good, but not extraordinary better than other similar asian restaurants in the area. Some dishes served in cheap plastic bowls, chopsticks were different size one was shorter than another, waitress forgot to bring our bill, time wasted waiting. No toilet paper in the toilet. Won’t be back.

Authentic Chinese food. Dim sum, canard pekinois, turnip cake, variety of teas and drinks. Everything perfect. At around 8pm it was quite full, we only managed to get a table because we had a reservation. By 9pm it was already not as busy, with some empty tables.

Nice food, friendly staff. If anything, the pak choi dish could have a bit more intensity, but that’s personal. For the rest, very tasty. Loved the fried eggplant.

We loved this restaurant! A minimal menu that encourages sharing family style, all our dishes were superb. They have some unique cocktails, and a really delicious milky oolong tea (lactose free). The staff were super chill and responsive too. Will be coming back.

Had two servings of Dim sum and the house beer and a couple of cocktails. The dumplings were superb, perfect consistency outside and the fillling was spot on. The house beer paired excellently with the food. Cocktails were served with clear ice and the mixing was spot on. Would recommend to everyone.

This might be in the top 20 asian restaurants in the entire world. Fantastic food, try ALL the appetizers!! The service is likewise excellent, and the drinks are absolutely out of this world. Ask the bartender for his favorite drink, a daquiri served in a glass covered in candied orange powder. We could not have asked, or hoped, for a better experience. Go here, tell your kids to go here, tell your friends to go here. WOW is the only thing you'll be able to say when you're done!!

Incredible dim sums, very unique cocktails (try La Prune!) and warm service.

Stopped here without a booking, and they managed to squeeze us in, but booking is highly recommended. The staff were really friendly, switching to English as soon as they realised. The menu is varied, with some great food choices and selections of drinks, including cocktails and whiskies. We had the dim sum selection, some extra gyoza, and beef noodles. It arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. The price was reasonable, about €20 per person with a soft drink. Definitely a good choice.

Sorry to break the list of good reviews, but our experience there was really not worth the price and the time we had to wait. More than One hour for my pho, they brought me a Pekingese duck instead and, once I finally got what I ordered, they didn’t have any fresh Chilli to put in. Food quality really not worth the price and the waiting time, bad service overall.

I was really grateful to be able to find a satisfying bowl of noodle soup in Brussels. I really liked the Hu Tieu noodle soup which came with a fried dough fritter. However, the Dan Dan Mian was not all like any Dan Dan Mian I've ever had, and hardly could be called that. It was more like a version of spaghetti bolognese rather than Chinese noodles. Service was great and the seating outdoors was nice.

The food was really good & the staff was really nice and helpful. The drinks are satisfactory as well. The only complain I have is the dipping sauce for dim sum. I would have preferred more variations on sauces. Otherwise the food is really good.

If you're looking for an asian restaurant where asian people choose to eat because of the authenticity: this is it. YI Chan offers classics from mostly Chinese (dumplings) and Vietnamese cuisine (Pho). It's a modern and relaxed restaurant with friendly service and I did enjoy 烧鸭汤面 (Mi Vit) ï M 中 €14 / L 大 €17. Mi Vit is a Chinese duck wheat noodle soup. It's a bit overpriced for what it is due to the reputation of the restaurant and the location in central Brussels, but if price-quality isn't your first concern, this is a highly recommendable asian restaurant if you're looking for authentic asian cuisine in a modern jacket.
