The tough guy attitude from the Neolithic Age can be observed on some waiters. If you don't like your job anymore, you could try to change it or get retired basically. They should learn some hospitality features from their Albanian colleague Eni. I'm giving these 3 stars for the sake of her. Just to clarify what has happened... We wanted to change 20 euros in order to give some tips to Eni. When I asked for the change, the gentleman made a "how dare you are asking this" face and completely ignored my request. Calm down Mr. Obsolete! I just wanted to change 20 euros. Why would you act like I insulted to your ancestors? These tough(!) guys are representing Italian community terribly. They lack the fundamentals of hospitality that Italian people are normally proud to have. Even a risotto has better communication skills than them. Besides this vibe killer incident, the food and the service were good. They also had great atmosphere with live music.

Exceptional meal, service was slightly slow just as a flag if you're with kids - but overall had an absolutely lovely dinner, the food was divine and the owner was playing live music which added to the overall atmosphere.

Pizza (Margarita) was not italian-style at all. Aubergine a la parmesane for which I had high expectations since I adore both ingredients, is tasteless, full of oil and I will unfortunately throw it away. Moreover since I ate, I have guts problems which I cannot be sure it's from that but it's been hours since I ate something else. Disappointing experience, and I paid 27 for it.

The mozzarella “di bufala” was clearly not di bufala, It did not taste as as such. Honestly the one you buy at the supermarket is way better than the one you find here. The pizza was alright.

Very busy restaurant, but service was fast. Staff is running all over, but still friendly and made time to chat a bit. Red house wine was a good choice. 2 beers, 1 glass red, pizza and ravioli dish was €51. Being beside European Commission the price is fair. We will go back.

One of my favourite dishes is pasta alla Norma, original from Sicily. It is a dish I sometimes cook at home following the original recipe and it was always a big hit. I tried it at La Brace and it was well below my expectations. The sauce was almost as if poured on the plate directly from the can, the eggplant was underfried and there was no trace of salted ricotta. Thank god for the paccheri were cooked al dente cause otherwise it could have been impossible to eat. Nevertheless, I don't want to create the impression that La Brace serves only bad dishes. My friends ordered other dishes and were very happy with their choices, so just please avoid pasta alla Norma and you'll probably do fine.

We were 3 people, we had Saumon Grillé, Fillet Pur and Foie de Veau, had 3 soft drinks and 3 deserts and paied 105 euro. The service is pretty amazing and the ambiance as well. We will definitely go back👍

excellent service, divine food, exquisite house wine and we were also able to enjoy live music with a version of "my way" on guitar

Very good pizza place, run by Italians, that delivers great food (the pizza sfiziosa was amazing)! Keep in mind that if you’re there until late the dessert menu shortens significantly because the kitchen closes (which is to be expected of course). So next time I’d order the desserts together with the rest of the food.

Food was just meh, ok. I ordered the pappardelle ragout which was a bit overcooked. Friend had escalope which was tough (the side of pasta that came with that was really good though). General ambience with the live music was great. Service was a tad slow but it was a busy Friday night.

The food was good. We tried the pizza capriziosa and margarita and paired them with the house wine which was good. The pizza was nice, tasteful and crispy in a good price. The tiramisu was to die for. If you should try one thing its that. It was nice and fresh.

A nice italian restaurant in the heart of European district. Great pizzas, especially our favourite - pizza Alla Norma with aubergine, to die for!

Good and authentic Italian, great quality and very fast service, recommended to order a table up in front, also the menu had a great variety of dishes.

excellent food, best italian in the city, however I am very disappointed by the services, after years of being customer, in last few months always the same story - customer relationship worst in the Belgium, teribble handling in rush hours... even the great food will not convinced me over the low level of services

Tried this place near our new apartment. The pizza was good but the red sauce on the pasta was average. Atmosphere was nice with live music. Unfortunately, as Americans who were probably assumed to be tourists, we were overcharged for our dishes. The waiter immediately fixed it after bringing it to his attention, without even looking at the receipt (indicating he knew that he couldn’t get away for overcharging).

Great experience. The restaurant is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside, and it was all full also the terrace. When you enter the first thing you notice is the big pizza oven and the lovely smell. We had to wait a bit for a table outside but the service was great. I had the pasta with vegetables and it was delicious. The pizza was really good too. Will be back!

The decor is somewhat stuck in 1972 caricature trattoria. Would struggle to find it in Italy nowadays, but you have to live the kitsch of it tbh. The food however is very good and the personnel is sympathetic.

The restaurant is located at very popular place of Brussels. You would definitely feel good quality of food restaurants around, one of them is La Brace. The pizzas are delicious, fresh and the smell makes you dig into it. Don't miss it.

Food is good, (not extraordinary) but the waiters were very rude. We had an older waiter who was very harsh in his communication. Everything had to go very fast, waiters had no patience at all. I just finished eating and they were already there to pick up my plate and asked what I wanted for dessert without giving me any time to think. The restaurant wasn't even full, we weren't there late so I have no clue as to why it all had to go that fast. We also didn't get any of the bread that other tables did get. The tiramisu was great but the portion a bit too small for a 7€ dessert. Altogether the food is good price quality wise but I won't be visiting again due to the attitude and impatience of their waiters.

Very fresh and delicious food! The staff is always cheerful. Sometimes they have live music which is awesome. I like the food there and forgot to take pictures :)

Great cook, with classical Sicilian dishes. We followed the waiter's recommendation in wine and were not disappointed. I was told the pizza was good, too.

My Italian restaurant favorite in the capital. Pizza is excellent. Great dishes such as beef, seafood are also nice; if they match a reasonable price, that will be a extra bénéfice.

One of the best Italian restaurants in town, I go there once a week and the quality is aways the same. If you are in the European Quartet looking for a some pasta or pizza, or other Italian dishes, this would be the best choice by far. And for dessert try the Tiramisu, it's a must!

Waiters were un-profesional, had pressure on us when ordering... Then called us "dumb" infront of our faces.

An institution of the EU quartier. Others have come and gone, but for simple but good pizzas, this remains the standard. My pizza was however a little soggy last time and the mozzarella is not of the quality it used to be.
