I understand that you want to criticize Sofitel Brussels Europe hotel for allegedly manipulating reviews by paying for them. If you wish to express your concerns in English and provide factual information in your comment, you could write something like: "Unfortunately, I feel compelled to share my disappointment with Sofitel Brussels Europe hotel. There are claims circulating that the establishment is engaging in unethical practices by paying for positive reviews. If these allegations are true, it casts a shadow over the hotel's integrity and undermines the trust of potential guests. As a conscientious consumer, I believe in honest and unbiased reviews. It is crucial for hotels to maintain transparency and provide an authentic representation of their services. If Sofitel Brussels Europe is indeed involved in such activities, it not only deceives its customers but also damages its reputation in the long run. I strongly urge the management of Sofitel Brussels Europe to address these allegations and clarify the situation. Potential guests deserve to make informed decisions based on reliable and genuine feedback. As an avid traveler, I believe it is essential to support businesses that prioritize honesty and customer satisfaction. I hope that Sofitel Brussels Europe takes these concerns seriously and takes appropriate actions to rectify the situation. Only through transparency and genuine customer experiences can a hotel truly earn its five-star rating." Remember to ensure that the information you provide is accurate and based on reliable sources or personal experiences.

Great Hotel is nice neighborhood. Spent 2 nights here. Rooms are good and spacious, bathroom very clean, internetspeed is good and above the service impeccable. Also a very good breakfast buffet. Parking is expensive.

Nice discovery. The neighbouring is pretty nice and the property is stunning, comfortable and all is there, including a very convenient car park. Staff was cautious and efficient. Nothing to complain about. Will be back soon.

Spent here 3 days over New Years Eve and had lots of fun and a very pleasant stay. F&B Team during breakfast is amazing, front desk Tony also doing an excellent job to satisfy all individual needs. Overall friendly atmosphere and staff.

Coming in for a course in Brussels, the recommendation was to stay at Sofitel. Rooms nice, bed good. However, when the bus leaves at 07.10 for the course and breakfast opens at 06.30, it should be possible to foresee a large number of course participants waiting at the door to the breakfast room at 06.30. This was not done. The room was dark as we entered, the staff entered at 6.33 with the food and started laying out everything. In addition to this, Coffee and tea had to be ordered from the staff, which meant that I got to order at 6.45, since everybody else wanted to order at the same time. My first order also came back wrong, and had to be sent back. I had to leave without finishing. Poor management planning at such a high price, high profile hotel. I payed a lot of money to do two things, stay in a room and eat a good breakfast. You only delivered one of the two. Disappointing.

Good location, but service provided by waiters very inferior and careless! For example: During dinner dated 14 November 2022 waiter lied to me that the lasagna is gluten-free! This was not true and as a consequence I was sick. For the dinner instead of proper gluten-free bread, he brought me gluten-free sweet bread - to eat with my dinner? Is this a five-star service? During breakfast dated 22 November 2002, the waiter, although informed that I can not eat the food served (meat, cheese and wheat bread) failed to bring me an alternative food, although I only asked for some fresh fruit (and I am sure the hotel has apples, bananas etc). As a consequence I was sitting at the breakfast with nothing food to eat!!!! In conclusion, the young male waiters working there need to be trained proper manners and service attitide!

Good food. Excellent service. Breathtaking view. Enjoying the spectacular view while having a delicious meal in good company. Came here to celebrate mother’s day. This is the second time my husband brought me here but this time we were with our kids. I ordered their express lunch with 2 courses. Had the Manhattan chowder and Cajun Salsa with mango white sauce and pineapple salsa. I would say that it was always an experience and will definitely come back.

This is a very nice hotel, the food is good and the rooms are clean. It looks innovative. I really like this. I came with my family and we had a great experience. We have never seen another place like it anywhere. Everyone come and stay at this hostel and express your happiness.

This is my favorite hotel when in Brussels for business at the EU. Great location, warm atmosphere, decent rooms, well maintained interiors and OK services make more than a solid package. Could be pricey at times of major EU meetings; at a closer look not the most modern (recently partially refurbished); and staff always good, but rarely exceptional. In any case - as said - my favorite pick from what’s available….and croissants for breakfast are amazing.

I recently stayed at the Sofitel Brussels Europe with my family during our visit to Belgium, and I must say that we had an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the elegant and sophisticated atmosphere of the hotel. The location of the hotel was also ideal, with easy access to public transportation and many of the city's attractions within walking distance. Overall, we had a wonderful experience

In general - you would expect much more from a 5* hotel in this price. Out of the pros of this hotel I would mention: - really kind staff - spacious bathroom When it comes to cons - the list is much longer. Despite staff’s kindness you can clearly see that they are not well equipped to serve guests appropriately - you cannot pay with AMEX, which for a hotel serving so much business clients is really shocking. Staff is trying to cover it up with some temporary issues ongoing because of some updates happening but response from AMEX side is clear - their terminal does not support certain European protocols that would allow all cards to be accepted and it needs to be replaced - CHECK-IN is a MESS(!) despite the fact that I did receive a text from the hotel at 2:30pm saying that my room is ready, when I arrived at 2:45pm it was NOT. Furthermore I needed to wait till 3:30pm (!) despite the check-in at the hotel being 3:00pm. Hour of a delay and nothing more than simple “sorry” - The hotel itself looks from the outside looks pretty nice, when you have a look at the hall you’d also be happy about it. The rooms themselves however don’t really meet the todays newest standards. It’s nice you provide a speaker with a possibility to connect your iPhone. It’s just a shame that the connector available has been replaced by new - lightening… 10 years ago(!) Don’t expect any other fancy smart TV or at least a nice large TV - it’s just not there. Power sockets - there are 2 available, 3 if you unplug the coffee machine. Given how many devices we need to charge these days - I cannot imagine actually coming to this room with a +1. I could have barely make it myself, charging some devices in a bathroom :) that also makes it super difficult to find right spot to do the ironing - given it’s not much of space wither - gym - that depends what are you looking for. It’s extremely difficult to find any information about it online but you can find in there weights with up to 16kg only - if you have in detail at some of the stuff the hotel it just looks like it’s tearing apart - breakfast is fine, if you stay in there for 2-3 nights, longer than that I think you will be well bored, given small variety of the buffet Overall - go find yourself a better place, with this price range you can do so much better!

We came here expecting something above average but didn't receive anything outstanding. After multiple trips to Brussels, we decided to go for something a little higher end as we were planning a longer stay and knew we would need some extra comfort. Notes: -Quiet location with access to main attractions (we recommend an electric scooter as it tends to be faster and cheaper than taxi/rideshare/public transit). -Friendly, welcoming staff who were attentive and quick to assist with any issues (e.g. our air conditioning quit working midstay and a technician was able to resolve the issue within an hour). -Breakfast was okay but picked over. We only used it 3/6 days and my spouse had to get special permission to bring something to the room for me. -Excellent umbrellas & super comfy robes & slippers. -Super safe and well monitored. -Inconsistent shower temperature, it was impossible to have a hot shower and temperature constantly fluctuated despite the time of day. -2.50 euro fee for ice (specially requested). -Fridge temperature fluctuated and did not keep cool properly. -Room service menu left much to be desired. We wanted to love it but honestly would have been equally or more comfortable in many of the nearby lower star hotels.

We had a very pleasant stay and were impressed at the attention to detail the hotel provides. Everything from the check in experience to the room amenities were great. We went out for the day and when we were back the room had been cleaned, reset and restocked with anything we had used (e.g. water, chocolates, towels) which was a refreshing touch after a long day exploring Brussels. The beds are also heavenly! Special thanks to Cristina at the reception, she was an absolutely delight and made us feel very welcomed. We will definitely be back!

I am (in fact I was) a regular in this hotel's restaurant and have been sending my business guests to this hotel as well. Lately there is a person responsible for the rooftop who has no clue about customer service. I took a friend there and we were forced to sit on bare metal chairs with an excuse of possibility of rain. Obviously the client is not gonna sit under the rain anyways. We requested either the chair pillows or the pillows just sitting in the completely empty sofa area. He couldn't be more rude in disregarding our very rational request. He kept saying he can't give the red pillows designed for the chairs because there might be a rain. So we're not gonna sip our drinks and eat food while it is raining. And refused to give us throw pillows (they're just decorations there) from a large and completely empty area. His non-cooperating attitude and facial expressions were totally inappropriate in handling customer requests. This very person seemingly has zero interest in serving people therefore he has no place in hospitality business. We immediately left the place in the face of terrible service. We went to another nice place, open-air and it didn't rain and we were treated properly as customers. Again recently I had a business dinner in the restaurant handled by a lady and a gentleman. The service was terrible. The two staff members were arguing each other in front of the customers. The gentleman was on constant rush in the service, throwing the place to our table. I was so embarrased because I suggested this place. It was a painful 3 course meal. I also suggested this hotel to my business contact to stay and he accommodated there. I can't imagine what else he experienced during his stay. Very embarrasing for me. It is a shame that Sofitel hotel doesn't have an overview & check on these important things. I wonder what's going on in this hotel. It used to be a proper place with a good GM. Seemingly it is not anymore and I wont take anyone there anymore, recommend for accommodation due to this terrible service.

Good hotel. But the service is not the fastest or most pleasant. I forgot my hair brush. I called the reception and asked about new hair brush. I waited for half an hour, the comb was never brought. I called a second time. And then after 10-15 minutes they didn’t bring anything. After I returned to the hotel, 2.5 hours later, the comb was lying on the table. The service in the restaurant is very slow. They don't offer coffee, you have to ask yourself. Among the pleasant things, I was pleased with the salt in the bathroom and a cup of tea in the bedroom before bed.

All in one place. You are best located in Brussels especially for business trips and have access to restaurants, bars, market places and all must see in the city. The team is extraordinary and really do all they can to make your stay comfortable. In my case, the booked, arranged and followed up my covid test at 10pm to make sure I won’t miss my flight. Thank you guys. Also try the spa. Thé massage is really great. There is a Park tight on front of the hotel and a roof top, both ideal for relaxing after long days of meetings in European Union.

Excellent location, especially for business/EU/government functions. Very convenient. Tons of stuff is walking distance. Common areas are tastefully decorated. Service is friendly and competent. Rooms are good sized and well furnished. Bath/shower combo. Clean and excellent isolation for good night sleep. Few negatives, so it is really 4.5 stars, not quite 5, alas! -too expensive for the value provided; -shower stall is extremely small, so it is not comfortable and relaxing to take a shower; -front desk is understaffed, so it takes too long to check in/out, even for Platinum Members. All is all, quite pleasant stay

Good quiet rooms and good location for EU institutions and restaurants. The hotel is fine but service (and quality of breakfast) is not what you’d expect I think from Sofitel.

The Hotel is awesome and modern! Thanks for the service and the absolutely great stay. The parking station is very small but ok. The place is perfect for all who would like to go out for a drink. In front of the hotel is a place with a lot of bars and restaurants and not far away from city centre.

Rooftop bar with a nice view. The table wasn’t clean despite being empty before we arrived. It took 15min to get a menu and had to insist to order. The Moscow mule I ordered was pretty poor compared to the price of 13 euros. Such a pity for a nice hotel.

Very nice experience, especially with Gulnaz at the reception! A very welcoming, professional and friendly person. Perfect cleanliness and nice decor. Blameless isolation in the rooms despite the central location of the hotel in the city. And PETS are warmly welcomed ☺️🐶

Sofitel is just a fantastic, clean, modern, well-located hotel, with everything you need in. One of my favorites in Brussels, with a great roof-top bar (summer) and in front of the cool Place Jourdan, where you can just come down to have any type of food or drink you want, even in a rainy night. Enjoy!

We had a very late check in the 5. Of september 2021. The service at reception check in and check out was poor and staff uncommitted. Service and room standard do not match the price.

Great position, the square that the hotel is on is reasonably busy, the best double fried chips and bars that open till 1 am. The hotel has an amazing sauna

Amazing and friendly staff, good location, nice and warm room (with great sound isolation) and clean and well equipped gym. I traveled for business and arrived at the hotel an hour early (before the check in) but nevertheless the room was already ready and reception without hesitation handed me the key-card and wished a pleasant rest before my further endeavours. Will be definitely staying there next time traveling to Brussels.

We been in the hotel already a few years ago and already liked the Hotel. Coming back here it was a pleasant surprise to see that the Hotel and the quarter changed in a positive way. The rooms are clean and nicely renovated. Last time we heard it when they started installing the stands on the market, this time absolutely nothing. The breakfast was excellent and really worth the price. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the attention to detail is there. Many thanks for a pleasant weekend.

One of the worst Sofitel experiences we experienced so far. At the arrival at the hotel, nobody come along with us to show us the room and help us with the luggage. The room has several things broken, the safe box and the shower header, nobody came to fix them and no alternatives were given by the hotel. Last day we had a late checkout (we paid half room rate for it), the room was not cleaned despite of being requested. To finish our unfortunate experience, the reception personnel was kind of rude and very unhelpful.

We were there for one night, overall stay was pretty good. The room doesn't have a boiler for making hot water, so you pretty much have to use the nespresso machine for this. The hotel staff was very friendly and brought up warm water too. Location is good, lotsa shops / eateries nearby.

Been there three times. On the first time I stayed in this hotel, roughly a year ago, we were greeted with a room in which the shower temperature would vary a lot from cold to scorching. When asked to change rooms, the front office member said "they've never heard this kind of complaint" (besides I see a couple of this reports here in google -- first trust issue). They've ended up changing my room but for my greatest surprise: the new room was already occupied! -- second trust issue. On a more recent visit, two major bummers: first, someone (housekeeping, I hope) tried to enter the room twice in weird times: once in late afternoon (not sure the time, we were resting as we had to wake up early that day), and then at very early morning (like 8h or so). Then, we go to the rooftop only to be served the worst wines I've ever tasted, and bar crew said they didn't have any other option. And also nothing to eat at the bar at this specific night too -- which spared me some more disappointments by reading the recent reviews here. I've also encountered several other minor issues that, in the end, makes it feel far from being the pleasant experience we expect from this kind of hotel. Which makes me very sad because the location is excellent for those who need to be in European quarter, and, in my opinion, Sofitel bed is the most comfortable one among all other brands.

The hotel is in excellent condition. Breakfast with multiple choices. Close to the EU commission central buildings. Not close to the city center. Very expensive parking at 32 euro/night. Excellent restaurant. There would be 5 stars but I didn't like the people in the restaurants with their masks down, while in a closed area with COVID around.

Great staff, we were very pleased with our stay. The breakfast was delicious and the people running the buffet are very friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and super clean (we loved the super fluffy covers on the bed). The only note we had was the air conditioner wasn’t working well. Otherwise all was great!

Easily one of the better hotels I've stayed at in Europe. the only knock would be that it's quite a walk from the metro station. There are plenty of restaurants in the area which is very nice. Rooms are exquisite and very nicely furnished. Would definitely stay again if given a chance.

hotel is clean and a good location, but the service really poor. Ordered 3 times room service.. ones the Lasagne was cold and ones they didn't even bother to bring it. not what you would expect from a hotel in that price range.

During my recent trip, I had the pleasure of staying at Sofitel Brussels, and it proved to be a truly delightful experience. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The attention to detail was evident, with plush bedding, modern amenities, and a soothing color scheme that created a relaxing ambiance. The room was impeccably clean, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job of ensuring its pristine condition throughout my stay. And not to forget food was delicious.

I recently had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect for exploring the city's attractions, and the breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of options. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a top-notch stay in the city. Five stars!

Very disappointing!!! Where to begin with this so called "5 star hotel".. -not welcoming staff at reception during check in, rushed, no one explained anything nor fave us information about breakfast hours or Wi-Fi password. - fridge in our room was broken and the couldn't fix it. -they didn't fill up the body wash bottle and during our last night and the morning we ended up washing with shampoo! -they didn't fill the missing toilet paper roll during our 2nd night - when asked for a pair of slippers and bathrobe for our 12 year old we were told only adults get it?!!! -on our 3rd morning the breakfast was more on the poor side.  They explained to us that since we came earlier that day the breakfast was prepared for a big group who paid less € for breakfast. -to be quite honest the location is not good at all, almost 2.5 km from the center!!! Only good things are: very comfortable bed!  Nice size bathroom and the breakfast staff was nice.

Decently priced and the rooms were well sized. Room decor, features, and feel, were average. Id try to get an exterior facing room if you can, the view from that side was much nicer than the interior rooms.

I am a loyal client of Accor and visited a couple of MGallery, Pullman, and Sofitel: Geneve, Rennes, Toulouse, Lyon, Strasbourg... But this hotel is the worst experience! Check-in: I booked two nights in a superior room (683.98 EUR), and during check-in, I was charged twice: 1400 euros and 800 euros. Room: big, but quite old, not stable hot water, furniture in need of repair, uncomfortable beds. Room service: disgusting! I used the service twice. The first time I was waiting 1one, they forgot about an order. The second time, they dare to bring a glass jar from a supermarket (price 5,95 euros) reheated in the microwave for 28 euros. Positive elements are: cleaning service and bar. The rest is a nightmare!

It is so, so, nice. And expensive. But you can sometimes make good deals. OK gym. Did not try hamam. Expect to wait for a long time in the bar or in the restaurant if they have a busy night.

This place is really great and the staff is amazing. I have interacted with several of them today (August 16, 2022). One staff got me a massage booked. Later in the evening there was a screaming/crying baby in the room next to me. The front desk got me a different room immediately. I loathe being high maintenance but I needed sleep since this is a work trip. They were kind and prompt the whole time. I don't speak any of the normal local languages (I pretty much only speak English) and they all immediately switched to English when speaking with me. They were incredibly accommodating and professional. The room is perfectly comfortable. The local neighborhood has all kinds of food, bars and stores. Do yourself a favor and stay here. You won't regret it.

A short walk (10mins) from the metro or bus to the airport. Very much a business hotel. Upgraded room (from superior) on check-in was nice but not the quietest room. Supermarket and restaurants all within 2 mins walk. Breakfast was good and late checkout (3pm). Booked via secret escape for £122.

Had the immense pleasure of enjoying a cocktail at the rooftop bar as well as dinner at The 1040 restaurant while with a group on an onboarding event. Not only was everything delicious and fantastically organized, but we were also greeted by members of the Management Team as well as the General Manager. Congratulations to the entire Team at the Sofitel for operating such a wonderful property! Highly recommended!
