The food was OK for Belgium standards: you can eat better in the Anhui province of the People Republic of China, in selected places in Japan or in some (but by no means everywhere!) in Italy. So, nothing to complain but would not go there for the food. The service was very cordial and attentive. Liked this a lot: a very pleasant service atmosphere! What however merits a "wow!" level rating is the location: if you love greenery, I found very few places in Greater Brussels to match the beauty of this location. And the Chalet appears to manicure splendidly this place.

I recently dined at the restaurant, and the experience was truly exceptional! The food was absolutely delicious and left me wanting to come back for more. What stood out the most, however, was the impeccable service. The waitress was incredibly attentive to my dietary needs and understood right away what to look out for. I felt so well-advised and taken care of. Kudos to the staff and the chef for an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommended!

The place where the restaurant is really nice. The infrastructure is good too. The service is not that good. We order extremely simple things like beers, wine, and cheese. It takes a while for our order arrive, and they forget some things. We asked for another plate, but we do not receive what we order. It's a good place, but need to improve.

Very unfriendly staff. They brought the wrong drinks, was difficult to even speak to them to let them know of the mistake, they were rude once we managed to explain what happened. We had to wait a very long time for the order to be corrected. I would avoid this place.

The worst service I have ever experienced, we waited 1:30 hours for food, and never got my drink until the very last moment. Also very much overrated prices! Too much expensive!

Family brasserie serving a varied snack and food menu all day. The quality is good, but not exceptional for the prices. Service is old-school polite and professional but seem overwhelmed on busy summer weekends. Family and dog friendly but with steps into the restaurant and down to the toilets. Come here for a beer and cheese board after a walk in the forested park.

Quiet location for Brussels, with a playground for the kids. These aspects are reflected in the price.

Zero customer service. Avoid!!! We stopped for a drink and snack. The waiters made us sit at a table next to the bar. We asked to move to a spot with a view. The waiters refused and were extremely rude. The restaurant was almost empty and there wasn’t a shortage of tables. A totally unacceptable way to treat people. Do not go there.

First time out since covid and definitely worst experience ever. Waited 45 min for our drinks. They forgot half of our order. They forgot to mention to my friend that they couldn't make her order so she had to order something else when we received our food. After complaining they made an effort with the bill. But still, not returning personally.

Service is not always great, but place is nice

very nice location in a cosy fresh park really well maintained. a closed road is leading to the chalet and you can reach it in 3min walk. nice outdoor seating. inside also very bright rooms for celebrations. menu with few choices. meat was good (not great). layout in the plate ok. kind service. toilets a bit claustrophobic.

Food is generally okay, service is friendly, and the area is great in the summer. But they have major issues with their processes: - service is extremely slow (even for a simple drink) - part of the order forgotten - people served at different times to the point where some may have finished their plates when some haven't even received anything yet, or some get their drinks before the food while others get them after. It's a mess and it spoils the meal. But such a great spot. I feel like that's why they don't feel the need to fix their many issues.

Service is friendly, the menu is limited but there is something for everyone. On the weekends in the summer it can be very busy so longer wait times and the servers don't have time for the extra attention some people are looking for. All in all a very nice experience. The staff are very friendly, especially when it is less busy.
