Please note that despite its name, this hotel is NOT at the airport (which is 5-6 km away). It is difficult to reach its premises by public transport, as the bus stop to/from the airport is some 400 metres away and buses are infrequent, particularly at night (a night taxi fare from the airport is in the range of 25-27 EUR). When I arrived there, the hotel signboard was off and this did not help. I stayed there one night and found out that in the area no restaurants (not even the hotel one) are open late. I was however able to grab a ready-made pizza thanks to the intervention of the night receptionist. My room, no. 405, was normal and just in front of the elevator. I found however annoying that in the bathroom the shower controls were relatively far away (more than 1,5 metres) from the shower itself. Water pressure in the shower was pretty mild and in the sink barely sufficient. In the early morning before checking out I received by email as usual a preliminary statement of expenses for my stay, where I was surprised to discover a line about the breakfast - which I did not reserve for, nor asked, nor planned to take at the hotel. I then had to instruct the reception, orally and in writing, for the removal of this unwanted expense from my final bill, and this definitely represented an unwelcome hassle.

Nothing extra and nothing missing. Nice hotel, near the Airport and 10-15 mins away from the city center. I was upgraded to a very spacious room (very uncommon in Europe) and given a welcome drink & sweets as Platinum Member... The restaurant & bar in the lobby have a very nice atmosphere, the Burger was delicious & the beer was very good. Breakfast was standard fare, good but nothing to write home about... Overall I recommend this hotel.

I was in that hotel for 3 days and during this time I had grate time. Room was clean and very nice, with superb bed. Bathroom was ok, very spacious but a bit old, though it had everything that is needed. Fitness room / gym 🏋️‍♀️ was nice with treadmill and elliptical to warm up and some atlas to do exercises. For a few days it is exactly what I needed. Hotel is very close to the airport, which is very convenient but there is no planes noise.

I would really give this hotel a 3.5 not a three. I think for the price of the rooms would make this have better amenities, such as water points and better toilet paper! And i mean water points like a water fountain or a brita station. I keep hearing how the tap water is not good. But i tell you what, it is not that bad. I have been drinking it since i arrived and nothing bad happened to me... i think. But the toilet paper is what irks me. It is close to paper towels than tissue paper. For almost 200 euro a night, can we get softer toilet paper! Other than that bed is nice, great blackout curtains on the window, don't have to worry about the sun waking me up too early. Very close to NATO

It seems all notice the bath rooms need some extra help - perhaps some attention to detail. Otherwise, it is easy to get to from the airport - take the number 12 bus to DaVinci station and walk south less than 5 minutes. The free shuttle to the airport was a nice touch. The hotel staff in reception and the bar were kind and attentive. For those who do not speak French or Dutch, English is no problem. The hotel is close to NATO HQ as well as the technology area for companies like IBM. Uber was available for those who desire.

The hotel is okay for a short business trip, but the rooms are showing their age and could use some cosmetic repairs. I would have liked to have known that I have to close the bathroom door when showering before I go to the shower and then I get a call and someone bangs vehemently on my room door until I open it. The safe didn't work because the batteries were probably dead. And there is no pool or hot tub here!

It only gets 2 stars because the staff of nice. The hotel is disgusting. I changed rooms twice, but every room is gross. There is hair all over the sheets and bathroom. The walls and carpet are stained. The light switches are sticky. I checked out early to go to a nicer hotel.

For several years, we have organized our annual meal in this hotel and we are completely satisfied with it. The table service is particularly efficient and extremely friendly.

Food was fine and ample amounts to cater for our coach party. Staff were very helpful and all that I spoke to had good English, so no need to practice my poor french. Rooms had plenty of space and good bathroom, shower only but that's all we needed.

I am currently still staying here. The rooms are large, the area and atmosphere is tranquil. The staff are extremely pleasant and forthcoming. Free wifi. The mattresses are comfortable for a 3.5 star hotel. The breakfast served is delicious and the staff there are willing to help you out. Also, across the road is free parking, so you can park your vehicle without any issue whatsoever. Overall, this is a brilliant hotel will a small fitness facility on site. There is a Gatsby elegance to this hotel.

I stayed for two days. Positive: Located near airport, friendly staff Negative: When checking in at 2p.m. there were remains of a breakfast laying on plates on 2nd floor next to the lift. Next morning, the stuff was still there. After confrontating the receptionist, they excused - but 45 mins later, the waste was still there! At checkin, I asked to check the room fridge because it wasn't cold. They claimed they just turned it on. Next day, the fridge was still not cold so I asked at the reception to check. Well, there happened just nothing - the fridge was still defective next day when checking out. Rooms are not dirty but not as clean as they should (hairs from previous guests in bathroom, dust and stains in living room). Summary: awful for the price, there are much better hotels available for less.

We’ve had a long stay here at the Mercure, and still here currently. The atmosphere, and the workers here are all so delightful & helpful. We have kids with us, and the staff has also been super kind with them as well. If we have any issue, they are quick to solve it, and breakfast is also amazing! And if they weren’t able to solve an issue we had at the moment, the customer service makes up for it plenty. 10/10 stars for this place!

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Always smiling. Nice welcome at the reception. Bar service very good. Near the NATO headquarters and of course near the airport. There is scooter available at the reception for customers to use. rooms are very clean and modern. Amazing backyard.

Location is good, close to airport and to business. However transport to Brussels city centre is quite difficult by public transport. Reception and catering staff is very professional and pro active. Room are fine and bathroom correct. No great experience with restaurant but food is good and well prepared.

I am a frequent guest in Accor hotels and this is the worst Mercure I have ever been. It needs to be tore down or remodelled and refurbished urgently. I do not know how Accor can allow to have a hotel of this brand in the current conditions. Room had a so strong smell of mould. Carpet was so dirty and stained. Sofa was also dirty and stained. Bathroom tile junctions were yellow and black. And hotel is so overpriced. Transfer service from airport works only until 9 p.m. The positive things were just the breakfast and friendliness of the personnel.
