Pretty place but there’s a lot of buildings in renovation:/

If you visit Bruxelles, you cannot miss this location that offers you a hint of China and Japan in a super beautiful area. Situated in the municipality of Laken, close to the Royal Domain, this area includes: the Museums of the Far East: the Japanese Tower, the Chinese Pavilion and the Museum of Japanese Art. For the moment they are closed for safety reasons until further notice.

Currently closed due to renovations. Great place full of art and history. Well located with a park and garden around. Perfect for a family weekend. Nearby you can find the Japanese Tower and Chinese Pavilion. Royal Botanical Gardens are also round the corner (opened only in May).

Nice place for a walk. Sadly the museum is closed at this point in time. Still worth to take a visit.

A breathtaking tower standing above the trees. The place is magical. I truly regret not being able to enter.

It is very very sad to see this building still closed and is left to rot to the ground. ? I was fortunate to see these buildings in a much better state several years ago. Finally this is Belgiums history /heritage ? A treasure that hopefully want be lost?

The place is closed but it looks gorgeous nevertheless. Recommend if your a hobby photographer looking to get a piece of Asia in Brussels.

It was great to see this Chinese Pavilion in the city. But it was closed (January 2020). I recommend to visit the nearest park.

I think this street opposite the Japanese garden must be celebrated. It has started magnolias on both sides and now in full flower. They have a faint aroma of vanilla that fills the air. In this season one of the amazing roads but otherwise a common toad.

Closed until further notice! It's a pity to see such a nice building rotting away.

The Museum itself is closed, you can still walk around the place and the buildings look awesome.
