Two stars for the amount of really new equipment. This is a beautiful gym, but with no rules stated at signup and none enforced. No staff on the floor making corrections even though they have desks they’re supposed to be at. They should be walking around in case people need advice and to correct and enforce the things I’ll mention below. MOST of the men on the upper floors DON’T re-rack or return weights after use, DON’T wipe machines, and most DON’T use towels. Dirt, sweat, and germs everywhere- and after a pandemic!!! Often you can’t find the weights you need or very heavy bars are loaded and left everywhere by the men. If you ask them to clean up after themselves like a grown human for the courtesy of the others to use you’re met with attitude and rudeness typical of Europeans. I’ve reported this several times to the staff who do nothing about it. Yet, if I make a mistake about the sauna because none of the signs are in English or rules stated at signup, a local won’t hesitate to rudely correct me, they can’t ever mind their own business. This is so common in Europe. When I joined I got a parking pass. It was never explained how to use it- you have to swipe a key box on the gym lobby wall before you exit (no sign), and if you’re at the gym for more than 2.5 hours you have to do this AND also have the front desk swipe it to clear you OR you’ll get stuck at the gate and back up traffic, unable to leave. But none of this is told to you, you have to waste time each day figuring out something new on your own. There are many many fitness classes each week, but there are so many that they’re only each offered once a week. This causes the classes to get so packed and filled to the max that you can barely move. Some of the more popular ones should be doubled up and when the schedule is redone every few months, votes from the patrons should be taken into consideration. But the new schedule is just the same as the one before. Due to the inefficiency and general mess of the gym, I use the too small women’s section. Women don’t clean either. It’s only got small basic weights, few machines, no weight benches, bars or cables, no squat racks, range of kettle bells. Old discarded extras. A huge portion of the women’s workout room is a giant long conference table and giant white leather couches. One small crowded mirror with one bench, only for 1 person. It’s clear that they don’t take women seriously when they have wasted so much space with lounge equipment. But I can’t deal with the male slobs who work out upstairs or lax attitude of the staff. It ruins the whole experience and I quit going for several months. There are no foam rollers or bands for stretching or injury prevention, no scales in the locker rooms for people to track progress on their fitness journey. The stretching mats are gross, and since no one cleans after themselves and I’ve never seen janitors cleaning, they’re probably nasty. The heavy use of the pool would also benefit from a wet suit spinning machine typically seen at many fitness facilities and spas in Europe. Recently I’ve seen people with phone tripods videoing workouts or even filming social Media here. This should be banned. No one is asked their permission if they get filmed in the background, and in general it takes up space and is in the way, especially in the small women’s gym area. We should be able to work out in peace without this added distraction, on top of the poor state of the rest of the gym. Gym should offer a 3-5 day trial pass (paid) to try before a contract or traveling. If I knew all these negative things through a trial period, I’d never have joined. I will not renew my contract when it’s over. A shame to see such a nice gym run this way. Gyms in the USA are treated with respect and people take care of the equipment so it lasts; they put their cleaned, used equipment back so they can also expect the same from the next user and always find the clean quality tools they need when they come. I know this review will make no difference to the gym. They will change nothing.

Over priced, disrespectful staff. Far from Higenic! I understand that as it comes to Belgian standards this place seems nice but if you're used to other gyms around the world... They shouldn't charge this much for this kind of service. Do not recommend.

Nice gym, quite modern and well equipped, sauna is in addition. However, staff at reception is extremely rude, even though I had to argue with one of them (Ewa), since she couldn't explain me properly what was wrong with my card but saying me instead what I should and should not do, which I found inappropriate. I regret that paid a year ahead for this gym, since instead of get some relax I have to argue with staff.

I suscribed to this gym for almost one year and now I have stopped for good. I am was basically only using the body building room and the swimming pool. The gym is very big and has a 30m pool. And that's where the pros end. To get in there a system usig fingerprint recognition. It works very poorly and I had my finger scanned several times because the scan machine did not recognised it. That means you have to go through the counter, take your card (if you have it with you) and do the procedure of identification, which is time consuming. The body building room is a total mess. Machine very poor and outdated and with hardly any maintenance, weights are in a total mess (you hardly find the pair you need unless you turn around the room for 10 minutes). People hardly use the towel which is compulsory and nobody cares. Not even the staff of the gym let alone the personal trainers. Only a few people care discharging the machines once used. Nobody cares about it neither. There is music which is basically the same tape ongoing for several months (if not years). The swimming pool is OK but I am not sure about the quality of water. Especially after the sessions of water gym which occupy the whole pool (one lane is left but is like swimming on a storm in the see) the whole Saturday and Sunday morning (when you possibly prefer go swimming). The cloakrooms are big but... there is just one sink. One for two floor of cloakrooms. Staff is not very helpful anyhow and keep on changing. Been there done that. Looking for something better.

I've been going to Kinetix for 1 year. I'm thinking about unsubscribing. In general, I am very satisfied with the welcome, the place and the cleanliness. But I am very disappointed with the women's corner area. I have noted several times that this space lacks weight. The heaviest weight is the kettelbel of 16kg. No bars, lack of weight machines. Even the step has recently disappeared... I am quite frustrated during my training because I have to settle for a weight of 16kg or use my imagination to be able to carry heavier. After several complaints, you say that you take my opinion into account but after several months, nothing changes... I have to continue to settle for a 16kg kettlebel and 1 10kg weight (when they are not taken because there is only 1 of each) for my workouts. Your subscription costs 80 euros, if I pay a high amount, it is to have quality and varied material, which is not the case for the women's corner space. It's a shame because the infrastructure is very nice and the parking is a plus... but unfortunately, paying so much to settle for so little suits me less and less. I see that many women complain about the same problem of lack of weight, take our comments into consideration and change things. THANKS.

It’s good but not great. Unfortunately the heating has been on all winter (and spring) in the workout areas and it’s really too hot to work out - especially in the women’s floor. After multiple conplaints nothing has been changed. Such a pitty as it’s easy to fix and would be more sustainable. The showers in the women’s changing rooms also need to be cleaned better/more frequently. Because of these two things I cannot wait to leave the gym rather than enjoying my time there and probably won’t renew my subscription

I have been registered at Kinetix Schaerbeek for several years and, the more time passes, the less good I feel there. I don't agree with the criticisms about the staff, I find that the people at reception are adorable. The coaches, if there are any, have never approached me to correct my posture or even greet me. The problem in the mixed space upstairs is clearly excess testosterone, incivility and lack of hygiene. The problem in the women's area is the lack of facilities. There's no press, no bars, not enough weight. The machines are those that were in the mixed space before. The problem in the crossfit space is the lack of education of the clients who allow themselves to play their disgusting music loud and who, despite my “state-of-the-art” headphones, ruin my ears. I have already mentioned it at reception and heard others complaining as well. Is it so complicated to make the audio cable inaccessible? I do not think so. I also noticed that there is a quota problem, too many subscriptions sold? We step on each other and queue to take a shower and go to the sauna (during the week, in the evening). I hope that recent comments here will be taken into account and a rapid improvement will be made.

Not what it used to be. The problem is that some people really lack the minimum common sense, not respecting some basic rules of hygiene. I think that the management needs to take more measures to enforce that common sanitary rules are respected.

Good overall! It's been a year since I registered and I'm hesitant to continue. Lots of choice in terms of group lessons but not many people I find. We step on each other to take the equipment or even take a shower Sometimes the hygiene in the showers is not great. I prefer the Schaerbeek kinetix to the Molenbeek one Unfortunately too little bodybuilding equipment in the women's area.

Luxury and cosy sport centre with a good service. Everything is brand new and has a very nice design. The price for the membership is not so cheap though (75€ per month if you sign the contract for one year), but still cheaper than in other places which give you much less. The only thing is that the changing room could be a bit bigger since sometimes it's too crowdy. In overall, I would definitely recommend!!

As a member since its opening I can recommend Kinetix for its equipment, for the space "women only" and for its cleanliness. A good place for its price range, good coaches. Don't expect too much from the infrastructure, repairs of whatever may be broken take months.

I have been registered at the gym since 2018, and I have always loved going there. It is by far my favorite room in Brussels due to the number of infrastructures and activities offered. You never get bored, it’s not a classic room. At the time I spent a lot of time but now I don't have much time and despite that I pay 80€ per month, which is high but I think it's worth it. I'm not giving it 5 stars because the showers are a big negative for the room. There is no possibility of leaving personal belongings during the shower. There is no small shelf to put even your soap, your shower flower or your kit. You have to place this on the soap dispenser but it slips and the hygiene on the floor is not ideal. Other than that, we're not all that comfortable being naked in front of others. The showers are too open, we have to wash in swimsuits even though it doesn't cost anything to install a bar on the doors and everyone puts their own towel on to hide from others' eyes. Other than that, great! :)

I spent one year in belgium and I felt at home thanks to all the people i met in stadium kinetix. there is no other place to go to train, relax, have fun and meet people in brussels. thanks to David, Mario (top crossfitt trainer) and all the staff.
