the best before dates are not checked and discarded when too old. I’ve bought food without checking the date, paid full price, only to come back home and see it’s only good for the day i bought it. a bunch of oreo were in the shelves with the “best” date being 30/6 (others being from may). there’s barely any staff running around for when you have questions too. otherwise a decent store but just check the dates on everything you’re buying.

The customer service is not good. There are rarely any staff to help with questions. If you are lucky enough to find a staff member they will tell you that they don't work in the section that you are asking about and to try someone else. The problem being that there is no one else. I really try to not use Amazon and to buy from a local shop but this Carrefour makes it so difficult. A smile costs nothing yet the staff here are too mean to even offer that. Look at the dangerous chairs they offer.....

My review years ago was positive "My place for everyday veggies and bakery" but not anymore. This Carrefour Hypermarché spends much energy in trying to look sustainable and green, and some efforts are much appreciated, like removing paper bags in the veggie/fruit dpt (with some caveat) and allowing people to purchase veggies&fruit without any packaging (aka "weight it and put it in your bag"), in presenting local products (chapeau) and in having one of the larger and best section for bio products. BUT... There are some other points that completely erase all the good job: - all fridges (meat-dairy veggies-fruits-etc) are open, with a huge waste of energy. What about doing what small Carrefour shops do, with closed fridges with glass doors??? Not only it would save you huge electric bills but it woukd help the planet. Sometimes the good is not in what we do anew but in limiting the bad. - Carrefour brand products (see the line "simple", the cheapest one) have too much plastic packaging in them. Please don't use the "hygiene" argument: we all have been through covid and know that are other, smarter way to reduce/eliminate plastic. We understand you have to make money and pretend to care, but it is now very easy to see your #greenwashing when you do not insert your eco-policy and values in ALL YOUR Products, including the cheapest one that most people buy. Bio is nice and trendy for selling, but bio costing like the cheapest products would show real eco- caring. The rest, what you do, seems more #greenwashing marketing. - while the intention in removing paper bags in the veggies/fruit zone is notable, there is NO sign or visible info for cliebts that says to customer that NO/ZERO/ NADA container is needed, that you can just weight your produce, take the label and put in your own trolle or bag. This means that most people are pissed, they don't know what to do when they realize there is nowhere to put the produce (without realising they don't need any container) and they purchase the new plastic bag (0.30cents) : so the entire good eco purpose vanishes. We see more your #greenwashing and got customers angry: was it worth? -Chapeau to consistently adhering to Toogoodtogo. But why your paniers/boxes never contain old fruits& veggies? Where those tons of unpacked mountains of veggies go when not anymore fresh? Yes, sometimes the magic box has a random salad. But even the vegetarian box is almost half of dairy products and almost no fruit&veggies 🤦🏻‍♀️. Perhaps understanding the purpose of toogootgo (not throwing away food to avoid food waste) is too much work for the people preparing the paniers? Or perhaps too work for them to throw inside also old cucumbers and peppers? The point is having fresh food not going to waste. So unfortunately your paniers are the worst of all Carrefour shops, both in variety and quantity. Your paniers have actually more plastic than food, which is really sad.

The employees at the self check out section choose customers to be controlled based on racial criteria. Usually at self check out the machine choose randomly customers to be controlled. Although the machine didn't choose me for control but the employee followed me outside to request the payment receipt. I could easily tell that the racial aspect was the reason behind her doing that. She was so confident that I didn't pay so she was extremely rude to me and of course she was wrong. she could have asked nicely

Don't buy a christmas tree in front of the Carrefour! We did this mistake and after installing it with my child we both got an extreme itchy rash! I do not know what they are spraying over it, but I have no allergy - we have fir tree every year and I have never in my life had any problems. I have also never had such an horrible itchy rash all over my body. The child - luckily - was helping only with few ornaments, had a rash over the hands and it disappeared after applying some antiallergy medicine until the next day. As I have been in prolonged contact, I wasnt so lucky.

For the good or for the bad, its an hypermarket. The store is ok, but too many people and products make the place looks like a mess, but at the same time there is not much to do. The parking lot is big although it looks like they never finished. They have a good video game session and also a rotisserie session that is very good. On the entrance of the store, always pay attention on the promotions.

Previously we would put the loose fruit and vegetables into paper bags provided by Carrefour, but now Carrefour obliges us to spend $0.30 on a plastic mesh bag, whilst removing all the paper bags for loose (en vrac) fruit and vegetables. Apart from being a monstrous display of greed, it also forces their customers to use and pay for more plastic. Kindly provide clients with paper bags instead of more plastic.

Their raw meats are really shady. I often buy ground meat and it often goes bad two, three days before the expiration date, stored correctly.

One week ago I hate this place more than you could know ! The real obstacle, however, comes not from natural sources but from stupid men ! What's problem ! The Cashiers are not nice! I feel like as soon as I walk into the store I become a thief because I see the camera filming me! Ridiculous! The world is not better !

Not so much bothered by the fact non of the staff is capable of speaking 2 words of the countries first language. What shocked me in times of corona crisis was the indifferent public. Non to zero cared about the 1.5m distance rule. If they were wearing protective masks, it wasn't in front of their mouths. Very frankly most of the customers behaved like a bunch of marginal white trash trailer park folks.

🫤 Very very strange experience as a Brit shopping here for the first time. Really did not enjoy it, very crowded with narrow passageways when everyone has a huge trolley, so you're stuck half the time. Bad acidic smell everywhere, and was like a sterile warehouse. Prices weren't even that cheap and C...

😠 Alarming mold on some products. If they can't be bothered to remove mold as obvious as this, what do you think goes on on the product that expire without any visible signs? Previously : It's a store. It's convenient, people are nice. It's not a life changing experience. Edit: retracting last state...

😠 Got served by a very rude staff ever. I frequent this store and never have I experienced this before. When you work in any type of store you need to be polite while addressing customers. She's clearly in the wrong place! Some little courtesy goes a long way lady! "Date 22/11/2017"
