One of the barmans is very rude. It stinks downstairs, a lot of instrastructure doesnt work. Place must go a major reconstruction in order to be more pleasent. Edit: (to the owner) we took 2 gins and tonic, 3 beers ;) rude behawior was in fact the result of me not giving the barman information that I wanted gin with tonic and a beer at the same time 😅 being pleasant to a guest is not that hard guys, really ;)

Sooo this is a tough one because as great as a venue it is for men, the sign outside needs to say “all genders welcomed” instead of “men’s club” because it is 100% misleading. a lot of american girl tourists arrived yesterday and are welcomed in no problem killing the vibe.. i would not enter a “women’s club” as a man. maybe they needed more business this night but weird concept for a “mens club” to have. door policy's are needed for certain venues and you had all these girls in there judging the video screens, dark rooms and dancefloor. Overall not best experience.

By far one of the best cruisingbars that I’ve ever been. The bar and staff are awesome, there is no entrance to pay (only on thursdays and sundays for their only naked events). The crowd is Very mixed, from young to old , from skinny to bears , white , yellow , black , brown … everybody is clearly welcome. The music is superb, not the typical “circuit” stuff. I’ve been to a lot of cruisingbars, but none of them are like Stammbar.

I loved the place. At first I was a bit intimidated about going in and while ringing the bell, but once I got in everything changed. Everyone is nice inside, from the man at the coat check who is super sweet, to the two barmen who always greet you with a kind gesture. And there was one especially cute and nice barman who was joking and I dunno he was very carefree and amazing. They make you feel as if you're a regular by treating everyone as special. Besides that, it's a safe environment where you have to option to chill and chat and have a nice conversation near the bar area, or venture in the dark room if you're feeling more adventurous. To be honest and fair, I think it's a beautiful and nice place with nice people where no one is judging. Good chill vibes. Keep it up xx

Very bad experience last week where I found out two girls were in the backrooms. If the place is no more a cruising bar for men only, fine, but then notify at the entrance so as not to mislead man-people.

It was nice and fun to visit this bar. Cool vibe and visitors. I like that you can also dance inside, although there is not much space. The dark zone is also interesting 😜 Cool bartender and strict mistress wardrobe 😘

Nice bar. Too bad the price rise for naked party on sunday, since its opening after covid. I could understand the place has lost money with the pandemic, but as many guys would come far from Brussels to the place, maybe thats why the party has been rather empty on the last editions? Im sure the bar would make much more money attracting more people with the old prices. And today its easy avoiding bars and choose to go online on apps, which i find very sad.

Had the best night here ever. Visiting Brussels for the first time and i got invited to this place. Danced all night and everyone was super friendly. And the clock assistants were super friendly and the white guy was fiooone

Super place with an amazing atmosphere and great music. Both for cruising or just a night on the dancefloor. A very inclusive bar with a clubby feel, where people in different shapes, forms and colours are welcome. It can get crowded sometimes but that also makes it more sensual. I go there quite often and I always have a lot of fun. Especially when the deejays go wild and the crowd goes crazy.

Amazing place, friendly staff, reasonable price, free entry. I visited at Friday and there was busy and really mixed ages. I had unforgettable night. Definitely will come back every time I'm in Brussel. Thank you all .

Affordable BUT, ... Unfortunately didn't have good experience based on 3 visits this year as I wanted to kinda confirm or find difference between the visits. I did not 🚫 find much besides guys not cruising but more judging others in groups of few. That ensure me it's not place for everyone and if average "rating" by look guy can't enjoy few hours with others. I am sorry but it's not a place that I was recommended to go. Pity after Corona Isolation made so many people crazy and not smart at same time.

I went on a Sunday afternoon everyone wears underware or noting great crowd everyone is very friendly and nice no judging. The bartenders make you feel like you are one of the regulars. Meet some great guys the dark room is fun. I like to watch there was plenty to see. I plan to go again on the second Sunday i am in Brussels.

The place is fine ... atmospheric ... but ... you can suffocate in the smoking room ... Saturday, and the DJ plays music like for a funeral ... a perfect place to stand and drink alcohol and that's all ...

Nice music. Crowded and crammed though. The staff can be very unpleasant at times. And the toilets smell of stale urine. EDIT: In response to the reply by the owner, I would like to say that my review is in fact one for the several times I have been at this establishment before the Covid pandemic. The fact that it's been a while since I was there doesn't change my views of it.

I have been coming to stammbar regularly for the past 2 years... yesterday i came in, and i was going inside to the smookimg room. The bartenders started screaming and shouting, and I didn't realise it was for me. Very rudely, they said **YOU SHOULD BUY A DRINK BEFORE GETTING IN**, i told the fat short guy i always buy my drinks later why are you creating a scene in this very rude way?? He replied, "This is the new rules." They were doing this with everybody. It was rude, vulgar, and disrespectful. It is the last time I step in, and all my friends were deeply bothered by this cheap, teashy approach. We will never go back, and anyone who has some self-respect should STOP going. We always buy drinks, not 1 or 2 but many. Also, the other bartender with the big black beard was behaving erratic and out of balance, going inside to the drakrooms, trying to have sex and turning his flashlight on our faces, what nonsense is this?? Note: i didn't mention your bartender because i am frustrated as you have accused me. Go check your cameras and see for yourself. How foolish.

Very dirty and dangerous bar. People try to steal money from you pocket. Filthy toilet and dark room. Much better to avoid this place.

Mind you, it's a bar with a cruising area. Check their agenda. Nice staff, fair prices, friendly atmosphere.

Went there on a quick trip to Brussels, I would definitely recommend going on their naked party nights, very busy, great deal of variety. The other night I went still had a good crowd, just not quite as large. The staff are very friendly and cutes.

Great DJs, staff makes you feel welcome and safe.

Friendly staff, drinks a bit expensive. It never gets too busy before midnight, but once the action starts in the darkroom you'll definitely have a lot of fun. Condoms and lube available at the bar and in the darkroom.
