Great Romanian food! I have been there several times, with both co-nationals and foreigners who wanted to discover our traditional foods, each time it was very good! Food is delicious, wines are great, advice and attention of the staff is impeccable, atmosphere super cosy. Traditional decor and the owner is very nice! I will for sure return repeatedly and I highly recommend!

waiting too much.. seriously, come there 3rd time and every time we have to wait 30-40+ min.. for each meal, even for dessert..

They are locatedNorth of Brussels, in Grimbergen. Very tasty Romanian food and generous portions. You can also find there a decent selection of Romanian beers and wines. I recommend the roasted pork leg. Friendly service, average prices.

I wasn’t sure what to expect since I had never eaten Romanian food and I had never dined in this part of the city. I could not have been happier. The inside is so cozy and the staff was vey welcoming. The chicken in cream sauce over rice that the waiter recommended was just perfect for a cold rainy night in Brussels. Everything is obviously home cooked with love and care. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Brussels (if not later this week.)

Great experience, very attentive staff. The only downside is that they allow indoor smoking in an area near toilet, and the smoke is caried inside.

This is the best romanian resto in Brussels (and maybe in Europe!). It has excellent food, excellent location, it is decorated with a lot of taste (very rustic) and the owners are very very nice people. Plus, I've eaten the best papanași (romanian desert) ever (hence thumbs up to the chef!) !! Very comfortable, very cozy, very very very nice. I love it and I would definitely return! It's a place that requires many many returns! To the owners: keep up the good work! To the rest of the world: visit this place as quickly as you can. You'll love it!

Great Romanian restaurant with a French food flair. Nicely decorated and clean, homey atmosphere. Outstanding service! Though there wasn’t an English menu (available next week), the owner/host speaks English and is very helpful. Recommend ordering their Romanian specialty - VERY tender and tasty pork, sausage pieces on polenta topped with an egg and balls of cheese (very similar to goat cheese but with slightly more brine). Or check out the pics and show them what you want when you get there. Very reasonable prices for outstanding quality food in Brussels. It’s a 5 minute walk from the Diamant metro stop.

For the lovers of rich Romanian cuisine and those trying to explore different ethnic cuisines it is a place to go. Different çorbas (soups), hearty and heavy meat dishes, cabbage rolls will fill your stomach to the top:) place also have good selection of Romanian wine.

I was pleasantly surprised about the staff amability. The food was a plus. We have tried mici, very tasty, pastrama, wonderful and chicken something plus tochitura. All plates were marevelous. Palinca was a little bit strangely sweet, but no headackes for me. :) And the red wine was really good. Prices are good, portions are big. And we didn t felt for a sec that is time for us to go. Thanks for a lovely evening. :)

Great food...

Our first time here in the restaurant. It was a good experience. For as far as we know authentic Romanian food. It was tasty indeed! And the portions were correct too. The service was fast and friendly. And the building had a nice and warm interior. The space was busy but didn't feel crowded. So we will visit again for sure!
