Meat stew was very brown, but lacked flavor - makes me wonder where all that color came from? Stoemp was similarly devoid of flavor & texture. Very disappointed. Attitude quite reflective of the bums on street just outside. Don't let the loud "bonsoir" guy in the back fool you bec he's got a potty mouth and mysogynistic attitude to match. They also ask for cash, when clearly they take cc from the locals. Will not return. Many of the smaller eateries nearby showed greater hospitality, served tastier food, and appreciated my business.

Very good brasserie in Brussels. Stopped in for lunch. I had the sausage with vegetables and my wife had the shrimp scampi. Both were very good. Service was also wonderful.

not much to add as the beer is best when it's brewed by monks... they know best how to really enjoy life!

The best Brasserie in Bruxelles! Chartier in Paris comparable: same age (more than 100 year old!), same good food, same classical waiters. Most of all: people who frequent this beautiful restaurant are nót the trendy, young and hip, but many locals who know this place for years and are welcomed in a homely atmosphere with excellent food and service. 10 stars for waiter Saïd: working double shifts and to the end friendly, quick & helpfull for each guest. Hospitality in optima forma! I will come back here over and over again, a hundred years from now...

It was a great choice based on the quality of the food, but what make this place a great option was it's variety of products. The people were friendly. No doubts about that.

We ate rabbit stew with chery beer. Dish was amazing, something you should try if you are nearby. Service was great, I would recommend this place to anyone.

Very tourist place. The food was very plain i had a scrambled egg which If had cooked that would definitely better and tasty than this one ☹️. I was expecting more. I wouldn't come back either suggest. Sorry for this low rate review guys but I've to be honest.

Our perception is that quality of service depends a lot on the team who is at work at that time of the day. Not much luck for us when we wanted to take a lunch at this place - personnel showed absolutely no desire to provide any service, just terrible.

Delightful atmosphere! It seems most patrons are locals. Our waiter was gracious and friendly. I wasn’t very hungry so I opted for the cheese omelette which was very similar to the cheese soufflé that I make - it was wonderful and comforting! My husband chose the seafood trio, and he was very satisfied. A low key alternative to over-hyped alternatives.

Nice place, good beers. Did not eat anything but seems to have a large menu. Tables inside are a bit too close to each other.

The food was very good and the place very nice and confortable. I hope that next time I go the waiters will be wearing the facial mask covering both their mouth and nose, especially when speaking with the customers.

The food was revolting, waiter hit me in the head 4 times with a plate accidentally and couldn't hear me when I told him to stop. This is exactly the type of thing you see on Ramsey kitchen nightmares.

The place may be stylish, and the food OK, but service is terrible. Our waiter was just plain rude. Just don’t go there.

Very nice waiter and good food. Not too expensive given the quality of the food and the location

Quality food reasonable prices. Waiting staff attentive and friendly. The restaurant itself is traditional in feel and there is a good choice on the menu both for food and drink.

Good place to have a bite and a drink, conveniently located near metro stop and shopping gallery. Not the greatest Belgian beer selection (quite the same for a very long time) and the menu seems to be written by an illiterate person...

Brilliantly authentic - doesn’t try to be something it isn’t. The building itself is cracking.

Traditional Belgian food. An institution. If you like moules/frites, this is the place for you. No need for a booking. I’ve never been turned back. Enjoy!

A café, nothing more, nothing less, waiters are friendly, you can eat there too, and the prices are rather low... A nice place to go to...

Delicious Belgian food. Very nice waiters. Worth the price. Many locals eat there. Every time I come to Brussels it's my place of choice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. I had the salmon with bernaise sauce and my husband had a steak with blue cheese sauce - both meals lovely. We also saw the croquettes coming out which looked lovely too - really wanted to try them but knew I wouldn't eat my main with a starter. I also had a monitor which seemed quite strong so they didn't scrimp on the measure. Very nice bread too.

I've never encountered such poor service at a restaurant. The staff seemed uninterested in serving foreigners. When we requested to change seats due to noise, they claimed the upstairs was closed, and later arrivals ordered before us. We tried local snacks before but still would like to enjoy Belgian cuisine … but the waiter old man requested and insisted us to take two main dishes and two drinks. In a cosmopolitan city like Brussels, the EU capital, it's disappointing that the staff struggled with English. Overall, highly disappointed and wouldn't recommend to other international friends.
