I went to High Tea, which is hosted in 2-hour sessions every two weeks/every month. They had 5 courses; scones and tea/coffee, soup, salad, sandwiches, and desserts. Everything was beautiful and delicious with excellent attentive service, and a stunning river view. The restaurant continues below the parking area (which is entirely valet, so be prepared) and they have both stair access and motorized lift access to the lower level(s), so it is disabled-accessible. Both of our servers were friendly, quick to be responsive to our needs, and easy to talk to. The chef gave us a personal visit at the end of our meal, and we got to chat about what goes into the creative process and how proud he is of all his coworkers at the establishment. It was a wholesome and satisfying experience that I recommend to any parties looking to treat themselves to a calm and sumptuous meal in style.

My wife and I had a nice date night here and we’re not disappointed at all. We started with the smoked salmon and caviar appetizer as well as the lobster bisque. First time having caviar, and the whole dish was excellent. I got a smoked old fashion and she had a raspberry lemon drop martini. Both were excellent. We both had the filet for dinner and I added the Maine lobster tail. The Demi glaze sauce was out of this world good on the steaks. The steak and lobster were both melt in your mouth tender. We finished the meal off with a homemade marshmallow, brownie, cheesecake dessert. I highly recommend giving this a try if you never have.

Beautiful outdoor dining scenery. I had the meatloaf which was good. The valet parking attendant was fast and nice. The waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Food was good. I had the half rack of lamb w/mashed potatoes and vegetables. It is fine dining, of course with fine dining it is pricey. But there is outside seating available that is casual. Valet is available, however if you choose to park yourself, you can park in the Valet parking lot across Rte 1.

Absolutely delicious food and specialty drinks! Great atmosphere when you sit outside on the upper deck. The view of the water is beautiful and you can usually see dolphins swimming by. The waitstaff has always been excellent each time I've dined here. Definitely try something from the desert tray!

I have always enjoyed eating at the Yellow Dog in the past, good food, good service. However, this time was not a good experience. Apparently there were 2 wedding parties planned for this Tuesday evening. Our party of 6 arrived early at 6 pm and were seated promptly. Our waitress took our drink orders, but we had to wait quite a while for all of the drinks. Everyone ordered, and we waited. The soups and salads came out a few here and there. The bread was very good! It took a long time to finally get our food delivered to our table. I had ordered scallops (pictured), all four of them were very good, and the sauce was very tasty. The 3 spears of asparagus were soft and mushy and appeared to be right out of a can! There was a fried cake of risotto (?) Which was the consistency of glue and had no flavor at all - completely inedible. Other members of our group had similar experiences with their food, overcooked, not tasting good, etc. We were there for 3 hours, much longer than we had planned for, and we're very disappointed in the service and the quality of the food. I hope this is not what we can expect to have happen should I try again to enjoy a meal with friends at this restaurant.

The view at this restaurant was beautiful. The food not so great I order the potato crusted Salmon, the salmon was dry and had no taste, poorly seasoned the bed of rice was over cooked along with the asparagus. Crusted doesn't mean burnt. My waiter was awesome, the view awesome, the food not so much.

Great food. Great views and amazing ki d staff. You can call ahead and make reservations. Take time and explora the decoration. The walls tell a story as the one that is written within them. You sit down with loved ones to grab a bite and make a memory. And the owners and staff show respect and love for that. A must in the space coast. Loved it. And you can also buy their recipes book. 😁👍👏🥰🌈

This adorable little restaurant offers an absolutely stellar dining experience. The food and service are stellar, and the atmosphere is low-key amazing. The view over the Indian River Lagoon is beautiful, and you can even enjoy a nice after dinner stroll along their pier. The food is absolutely top-notch, and the drinks are amazing, but the real star of the show are their desserts. It will be difficult given how good everything else is, but save room because you will NOT regret it!

Return visit. Oh, dear. Definitely not good. Had to leave because I felt so nauseated by the smell of burnt oil. Service was poor. Food was so-so. Unable to detect conch in the fritters, to the point that my husband cautioned me not to fill up on hush puppies. Salmon was okay, but the potato topping was overcooked on top and raw underneath. The contrast with the lobster saffron cream sauce was enough to make me feel sick as a dog. Wine came out very late, we'd almost finished our appetizer, and we were waiting for the entree before eating the salad so the server didn't notify the kitchen to cook it.... We'll chalk it up to an off night. First time visiting in over nine years of living in Palm Bay. It really is as good as everyone says! Perfect scallops, delicious crispy roast duckling. The focaccia was a little soft and sweet, but delicious. My husband has a dairy allergy, and it was a little difficult to accommodate that - we did not call ahead, however, possibly things would have been easier if we had. Beautifully presented food, fantastic atmosphere, everyone was so pleasant and polite. I'm looking forward to going back!

Had a lovely date night with my wife. Everyone we encountered was super friendly. Our waitress, Tommi, was the best. So kind and had great recommendations. The food was great. Highly recommend the baked brie and the crab bisque. We had the potato crusted salmon and onion crusted chicken, both very good. We ended the evening sharing the bread pudding, which was fabulous. We will definitely be back.

Wow. Truly an incredible experience. This restaurant is a hidden gem in the area, looking rathing unassuming from the road. However it is a shining star of a eatery. The waitress, Mary, was knowledgeable, friendly, and beyond hospitable. The food was reasonably priced and exquisite. I live in Miami and would normally have expected to spend a small fortune for the quality, quantity, and taste of the food we ordered. However it was well priced and truly impressive. They grow their own herbs, have high quality pastry and sous chefs working in the kitchen and an eager passionate wait staff. If you eat one place this year, let it be Yellow Dog Cafe.

The Yellow Dog never disappoints. The inside may look a little dated but the outside area is so pretty. We did have to walk down a flight of stairs to get there and I’m not sure if it’s accessible. The Lady Dog did not disappoint. It was incredible and just the right size. Homemade bun, fresh ingredients. The Raspberry Salad w Grilled Shrimp was yummy, perhaps a bit small for his appetite but that left him room for the most amazing warm bread pudding w cherries and chocolate served w a caramel whiskey sauce. I’m not a dessert eater but I tasted his and I have to say that it was one of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time. The view is great, the wait staff very professional, the kitchen doesn’t keep you waiting for your food.

I couldn’t say enough good about this place! Everything was spectacular - food to wonderful servers and staff. This was a birthday present dinner, and I couldn’t have been happier! I will definitely be back. Word of advice - save room for the dessert and try to make reservations for the outside deck. The view is amazing - even after sunset!!

Beautiful view, attentive waitstaff, and amazing food. I had the special (lobster stuffed salmon) with the recommended chardonnay and a Caesar salad and crab bisque. Everything was wonderful, from the food to the open air deck which was perfect with the shelter of the building keeping it cool and shady. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Giving 3 stars for overall experience, 4 stars for food/view. The view is fantastic and the food was great. We had the crab bisque and for entrees, the scallops and meatloaf, with the brownie shared for dessert. This was our first visit and it was a special occasion, our anniversary, 33 years ❤ which was explained when the reservation was made but not recognized by the staff, a little disappointing. Our only other disappointment was with our server who was loud and didn't provide the level of service one would expect in a restaurant with these prices. Be advised that the staff were not wearing masks as well, which made it a bit uncomfortable with the server standing so close and talking so loud, in addition to the closeness of the tables. There are other places where a better overall experience can be had.

Beautiful views, food tasted superb, Jordan our server was lovely, and the plating of the food looked like artwork on a canvas. (The pictures don’t do it justice) You can tell they really care about delivering high end quality service. Highly recommend 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 my dad and I already decided this will be at least an every other month outing.

Decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary here as we have never been disappointed in the food taste, presentation, great service with always noticing our needs and the wonderful water view. We had the salmon and the shrimp dinners . Although we were totally full, the dessert tray was presented and we quickly settled on the warm custard pastry. YUMMM. AND... The owner came by our table to make sure we were delightfully happy with our meal, the service and the ambiance. All good with complimentary valet parking to boot.

5 stars all around! The pictures do not capture the real essence of this place. You have to experience it for yourself. Our server Taylor added to the experience by providing an exceptional service with a smile that is warm and authentic. Highly recommend, and will definitely be returning. And to top off the entire experience, the complimentary valet parking puts the cherry on the cake. A true Palm Bay gem!

I had a small but perfect wedding ceremony at the Yellow Dog Cafe. The service, the food and the ambiance was an amazing setting making it one of our most memorable day of our lives. Meridith and Jordan were simply exceptional and I only received compliments about the service. The food also received lots of wonderful comments everyone loved what they ordered. If you need to have an event contact Richard at the Yellow Dog Cafe. He worked with us and made everything happen. There was also a lovely manager that day but unfortunately I did not get her name. Bottom line they all worked very hard to make our day a Wonderful Memorable Day! Thank you everyone, we appreciate you.

Service was great and the waitress really took time to talk to us and make us comfortable. The food was delicious. I personally had conch fritters, salad and Louisiana shrimp. My chocolate cocktail had a home made chocolate bone. The owner came around to all the tables to check on the customers.

What a wonderful restaurant! It was Thanksgiving Day (had a reservation) and we got in a bit early. The food selection was extensive and vegetarian options are available or can be requested. Simone was our server and was fun to work with and extremely knowledgeable. We plan on returning for our anniversary next March. Parking was limited due to the holiday but there was an excellent valet service. I highly recommend the Yellow Dog Cafe!

Incredible view. Witnessed a hawk eat a fish ……and many pelicans enjoy the view. Carmen is a fantastic and gracious server. The multi level restaurant is beautiful, and the food was delicious. Be sure to try the Deep Eddy Sweet Tea vodka Palmer. 10/10 recommend

Great view of the river! Our waitress was ok, not great; had empty drinks for a good while and she never told us about the catch of the day until we were already ordering and one of our party asked. The food was very good though, minus the salad croutons (not made in house, very hard). The pompano was cooked perfectly and very flavorful, definitely recommend.

Had great service. Enjoyed the house made Sangria. It was a real treat and good value for the drink size. Louisiana Shrimp and grits was good. The red fish blackened special lacked flavor and was a little disappointing ,especially considering the price. Lobster bisque was flavorful but was not as good as others we had in the area. The view was great, waitress outstanding, atmosphere very nice. Just couldnt give a 5th star on the food making the value a little less than expected.

Loved our time at the yellow dog! Treated my mom for her birthday and was blown away by the professionalism, culinary skills, and atmosphere. Will continue to come back for special occasions.

Beautiful place on the water. The food was delicious. Each of us (4 adults) ordered something different. We especially liked the potato puffs, but the shrimp, meatloaf, grilled chicken, and portobello mushroom dishes were beautifully prepared and served. We ate outside and enjoyed the gorgeous weather and view of the bay.

Such a wonderful venue to throw a 50th wedding anniversary! My sisters and I surprised our parents with a beautiful 50th anniversary celebration with family and close friends. Everyone had a lovely time. We had a mariachi band come in for entertainment and my dad serenaded my mom. There was not a dry tear! Thank you Yellow Dog Cafe for making this event extra special and memorable. Our waitors (Daniel and I forgot the other's name) were very accommodating. They made sure everyone had a drink in hand and food. Thank you to them. Thank you to our bartender, who made delicious drinks. She was awesome! Thank you to the chefs who made such yummy and fulfilling appetizers and entrees. Everyone was well fed. Thank you, Richard, for coordinating this and answering all of my questions. It was such a cherished event and thank you all who helped made this come together.

My wife and I visited Yellow Dog Cafe for the first time for lunch yesterday. We had a great time. Serene atmosphere. From the outside it's deceiving to how big the restaurant is...and on the banks of the river!!! Tommi was our server. She provided us a with some great service and an even better personality, attentive, quite respectful and fun! Quality of food was spot on and I am a retired Exec. Chef myself. The dessert tray can't be missed. We'll be back!
