We celebrated our Christmas break up 36 people. Food was amazing and great value. Anton and the staff went above and beyond.

We were pleasantly surprised by the bistro food. Very tasty and well cooked. Easy to order and quick to arrive... I'd recommend the sticky date pudding. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Always such a pleasure to dine here. Waiting staff are courteous, food is lovely & the venue is well maintained with large windows for lovely views.

Can not believe you just decided that we no longer needed chips with the ham and cheese toastie? If it's all about profit maybe put the price up a couple of bucks.

Lovely venue good food …. Young Brooke was amazing, took us to our seat, took our drink order, then our food order, then brought food to us, took our dessert order and coffee, brought that to us also ……. she was here there and everywhere with a smile ….. we will be back …… lost at the pokies 🙄 lol

For a bowls club this place turns out surprisingly good pub food, service is good but the atmosphere of the dining room is slightly impacted by the pa announcements about raffles. If you are in Ocean Grove, hungry and looking for very well executed pub classics then give the bowls club a go.

A table for 4 people. Most enjoyed their meals. I did. Bit noisy with eaters too loud. Enjoyed the new people I met. Would be nice to come on another day but lunch time.

No chefs specials on menu, apparently new menu, first time dining here for dinner. There were 3 of us dining two elderly parents and myself, Both parents had the lamb souvlaki $29.both agreed it could of been warmed up rather than served cold. The pita bread was cold, lamb was just warm a bit, so neither enjoyed there meal, chips cold, the pita bread could've been toasted or warmed in a oven before assembling with lamb. I had the Quinoa Salad$22. with Thai marinated beef$8. as a add on. Quinoa Salad was nice with the Thai Marinated Beef it was even better. Not many options on the menu for dinner service. We won't be back again for dinner unless they change the menu. Very pricey for cold meals.😒

Friendly immaculately clean with a great atmosphere either for dinner and or gaming. Gaming is not noticeable really though if it's not your thing the restaurant is well fitted out and the food is great with out a ridiculous price tag

Celebrated a friends 85th birthday. Lovely meals that all came out at the same time (around 35-40 people). Coffee was great. Service was warm and friendly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, welcoming two out-of-towners who wandered in for a meal. I loved my risotto marinara but Pete was disappointed with the meat in his roast. That wouldn't put me off coming again, though, and trying some of the other tempting dishes. Another thing I liked was the fact that the dining room absorbed sound well: it was quite busy, but we could hear each other easily.

I went with a group and we were seated on 4 Round Tables, really good for communicating with each other. A good choice of meals reasonably priced, service was excellent by friendly helpful staff.

Our Probus group enjoyed a wonderful lunch mid-week. Terrific menu (don't know how they keep prices soooo reasonable) food beautifully plated up & delicious. Staff fabulous. Round tables so we could all chat.

I could not pick holes in this establishment's customer service, and my ginger and lemongrass tea was delicious. Nonetheless, I ordered risotto and after tasting it, thought to myself: 'There's enough garlic in this to kill every vampire in Asia!' But for the parmesan cheese, it would've been tougher to eat surely.

Great service, we often go here for a meal when we visit family. We are never disappointed.

Dinner last night was the barramundi. Hot and fresh! The highlight of the night was Jess the waitress. She was lovely. A rare quality in wait staff these days.

We decided to try this place based on online reviews. It is holiday season so we expected it to be busy. We tried to book online but couldn’t, so called, and were told to arrive after 7:30. The venue is lovely, very large, but the kitchen seems to struggle to keep up. We waited 45 minutes for our meals to arrive which isn’t great with hungry kids. My daughter had a piece of plastic in her spaghetti bolognaise, which was pointed out to a waiter, and he simply apologised. She refused to eat anymore. There was no refund or anything offered. The other kids meal, cheeseburger, the chips were terrible, like the oil needed changing. On a positive note, the roast and prawn salad were delicious when they finally arrived. We won’t be going back!

Great food, service and staff! Went above and beyond to look after us and get us home safely

When we walked in it took them 5 minutes to seat us at a booked table, then we ordered lemonade and they gave us soda water before apologising and then giving us lemonade. We ordered two $41 dollar steaks which took an hour and ten minutes to come despite us asking multiple times, when we did ask we got told “ they take longer because they’re well done” I never knew that it adds an extra 40 minutes to the order. This bogus excuse was proved false when we got our steaks and they were cold as if they were sitting around for a while. They did taste nice although the service and attitude is shocking. $41 for an hour and ten minute wait and a cold steak is atrocious. Don’t come here

Good place to visit for dinner, but booking is recommended. ID is required for entry. Food is good and prices are OK. No table service. Friendly staff. Kids playroom is good it contains TV, bean bags, couple of classic snes consoles and big blackboard. No playground.

I'm a hard marker so that's why the 4-star review. Don't get me wrong It's a high rating from me :) We were there for a new years eve red carpet event. I won't comment about the band... That would run the stars down further. Fantastic food! the beef was succulent and very delicious! same with the dessert, tasty fresh and a decent change from usual club food. Amenities were good, the gents toilets took a hammering from a big crowd so I didn't expect great things by 11 pm :) Our group had a fine time, thanks guys! :)
